Gave it three stars, only because I couldn't give it 2 1/2. The chicken fingers and fries are usually good and of a consistent quality. The biggest issue I have with this location is service. Why is it every Friday night cars are wrapped around the building and having to stop in the public street because the drive-through is so slow? Three cars were in front of me at the drive-through and it took 10 minutes to get my food. It's literally chicken fingers and fries, how hard can that be? I have never been in the food service industry so maybe I am being overcritical, but it looks like with such a limited menu they could figure it out so that long waiting times would be an exception instead of the normal. read more

Usually don't have any issues with this business. However today I arrived to be the 8 or 9th person in line inside and so I placed my single combo order at 2:21pm... Me and another online customer are reversed to wait over 20 mins PAST when pickup was scheduled... This was NOT the issue... We both watched over a dozen orders be placed during out wait but one young man came in about 15 mins of to our wait and placed THE EXACT SAME ORDER I PLACED, and he was served within 3-5 mins OF PLACING THE ORDER... he was not an online customer... So this "person" working the register whom I had already alerted to my order being late minutes prior, served HIS FRIEND before 2 waiting customers whom had similar orders... This lack of professional etiquette is unbecoming of a business owned by such a nice man. I will be getting a refund and refusing to do further business if I come back and this "person" whom does not understand the service industry still has his job. Very disrespectful. read more

I don't eat much fast food but I do love raising canes chicken fingers. This is my favorite place to get chicken as far as fast Food is concerned. I live in Nashville and, unfortunately, we do not have one here. So, every time I travel through Mississippi to go to Louisiana I always stop at this particular raising canes. This has to be like the 10th Raising Cane's I have reviewed. The best thing about Raising Cane's is consistency. Every 200 chicken finger meals I have had over the last 8 years from Cane's has had the same mar-vel-ous fried, marinated, golden brown chicken taste. The chicken is always fresh and cooked to order. The sauce is made fresh in store unlike Zaxby's Zax sauce. Garlic toast comes with the meal and is lightly brushed with garlic butter. The slaw is chopped and sometimes it is more creamy than not. Fries are crinkle cut. I would say my tea has been refreshingly sweet 198 out of the 200 meals I've had. Also, a box meal comes with all of that and runs about $8. That is what you would pay nowadays at one of the burger fast food joints. Except at Cane's your food will be a lot more fresh, a good size portion, and just taste better. Cane's is absolutely my favorite fast food place and it should be yours too. read more

I was very skeptical and very hungry when I first tried canes for the first time. I don't ever eat fast food but this place has converted me. It is literally the only "fast food" that I catch myself craving. Their chicken is super light, fluffy and flavorful, on road trips moving forward I'll definitely swing by here if I'm lucky enough to pass one. Fried food usually makes me sick but for whatever reason this place doesn't unsettle me at all. Im grateful I don't live near one of these so it's a rare treat versus an unhealthy habit. The prices are a little higher than you might expect but you get what you pay for and their quality is much better than any other chain I've tasted. This review is in comparison to other Raising Cane's that I have been to. Generally, and especially in Louisiana, Raising Cane's is amazing. There's a magic about the place. Here in Meridian, it's just ok. It is cleaner than most fast food places, sure, but when the service is slow, and customer service isn't anything but doing the bare minimum, it doesn't even feel like Raising Cane's. Part of it is the Point of Sales system: from the way the cashier was working with it, it seemed archaic and laborious just to use. Considering, as a traveler, it is 4 miles off the interstate, I wouldn't seek it out again, but it par for the course of the fast food world (not so good in relation to other RC's). read more

My family and I love Raising Cane's so much that we drove 35 miles to eat at the Meridian, MS location. After taking one bite I felt something on my lip. I immediatly took the piece of chicken out of my mouth to find the longest piece of blonde hair that was obviously not mine being that my hair is jet black stuck between the piece that I had in my mouth and the piece that was in my hand. Absolutely disguisting!!! When I showed it to the General Manager, her reply was an unusal sound and then said "Well that's not good". She asked if I wanted my money back and I explained to her the distance that we travelled to eat at this restaurant. The Manager took the food to the back and it was obvious that she had made a negative remark about me because after I sat down, each employee came to the window to look at me and began laughing. I asked the young lady behind the counter if I should not be eating the food and they found my remark to be quite funny. The General Manger proceeded to tell me that they were not looking at me nor laughing. In other words, I felt like she was calling me a lier. The Manager then asked what she could do to make it right and at that point all I wanted was my money back. She then asked in a very arrogant way if I wanted my money back for my Husbands' food as well. My response was "No" there is nothing wrong with his food and that I was not trying to get a FREE meal. Every employee in this store handled this situation very unprofessional and it all goes back to the Manager because the employees in the kitchen would not have known anything was going on unless the Manager said something when she went to exchange the food. Her last words was that no one in the store would have done anything to my food. I never said that the food had been tampered with, so where did this remark come from? read more

everytime I go to this raising canes restaurant they never get my order right. It's not hard I do not eat Cole slaw so I always ask for NO Cole Slaw extra toast. I pay extra for this toast now. And I never get the toast and still put the cole slaw in it. They get mad when I wanna check my box in the drive thru but I'm tired of having to turn around and come back. This restaurant is not cheap it cost me 12.08 when I go so I'd like for my order to right. I understand we all make mistakes but every single time.
