. Dr Raizada seemed like a sweet dr but she had made me cry and made me feel like a bad patient. I was refer to her by another Obgyn, I was 37weeks when I went to see her. She got mad that I went to her so late, I looked small so she thought I would have a small baby. I knew how many months I was already and she would tell me I was off and basically based my pregnancy off from my last period but I had obviously ovulated late. So she said I was supposed to have my baby already, so she induced me at 40weeks. Which maybe I could of waited but I also wanted to get over my pregnancy already. I delivered my baby natural, dr Raizada had no patience at all while I was pushing, not knowing it was my first baby!. My baby wasn't small as she thought, she even got surprised. My little one weight 6lb 6oz and 19 inch. Hopefully others have a better experience than me. I would not go to her again. read more

Dr. Raizada has been my OBGYN since 2002 when I found out I was preggers with my first. She is old school, patient, and knowledgeable. She listens to my requests and helps me work a plan. We have been trying for baby #2. Her staff is always well prepared and attentive. Sometimes, like most drs offices, you have to wait, but she will take her time with you. Dr. Raizada is also not afraid to speak her mind about your health and the health of your baby. Before I transferred to her around 30 weeks pregnant I am not going to lie I was terrified due to the bad reviews I had read about the office and Dr. Raizada. However, I don't understand the reviews at this point anymore. I had a pleasant experience with her and this was my first baby. I had gestational diabetes and my baby was huge by the time it came to giving birth. I was so scared I was going to require a c-section since that's what most OB's opt for now a days but Dr. Raizada was patient with me and made it possible for me to deliver naturally. She is a very kind woman, old fashioned but that is what makes her the great OB that she is. I also absolutely loved Cristine! She works in Dr. Raizada's office and I saw her for the majority of my prenatal visits. She is extremely knowledgable and she made me feel comfortable during all my visits. She is on top of her game at all times and was always a pleasure to see. The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 starts is because of the wait times. If I had an appointment I would always have to prepare myself to be there at least 2-3 hours. Other than that, I am very pleased with Dr. Raizada & staff. read more

If you are looking for an OB/GYN who is truly loving and caring for you and your baby then Dr. Veena Raizada is the doctor for you she has delivered two of my babies, in 2015 she had delivered my last child, after my delivery I was having a lot of complications and almost lost my life but by gods grace he is Dr. Raizada to save my life! I was in the hospital for almost a month and she was by my bedside every single day checking up on me and making sure I'm OK she is by far the best doctor I have ever met she has a special place in my heart I love her dearly, i've never met a doctor like her I am glad God put her in my life, and I highly recommend her as the top doctor in my book! read more

Dr. Is on point with everything. She accepted my transfer being about 35 wks pregnant. Delivery plan was the best. They gave me epidural drip and pitocin so I literally pushed a handful of times b4 baby was born. This is my second child. She is very nice. Appointment wait times are about an hr or 2. Dr. Raizada is an older lady. Her office is old. The doctor herself is sharp as a tack! She is kind, amazingly caring and loving. She is intelligent, experienced and it's immediately clear she has cared for hundreds of patients. I was going through a miscarriage and Dr. Raizada put me at ease and quelled my fear with knowledge and science. She ordered labs and ultrasound right away. Dr. Raizada is the absolute best OB. She delivered my son Tuesday, February 5th, 2019. I switched from an OB who delivered my first child via cesarean to Dr. Raizada pretty late; 33 weeks pregnant. The previous OB was not VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) supportive and actually lied to me about certain things and scheduled a cesarean without my knowledge and consent, so I had to leave her. Dr. Raizada was very supportive of my plan to VBAC and took her time discussing the plan, risks, and backup plans with me. Her disposition is so positive and upbeat. She's a very sweet, understanding, and personable woman. She doesn't give off those "I'm a doctor, I'm smarter and better than you" vibes, ever. She listens to you and encourages you to do your own research and have a voice. She comes off very genuinely concerned for your health and safety and that of your baby. When it came time to deliver, she allowed me to VBAC. There was a scare because my son's heart rate was dipping, and this is usually where the doctor freaks and wants to cut you open. Dr. Raizada was calm and explicitly stated what I needed to do to get him out. She knew I wanted the VBAC badly and she allowed that to happen. She trusted my ability and she helped me accomplish my goal. She took her time and was very thorough and thoughtful stitching up my tears, too, which I really appreciate. She also didn't rush her follow-ups with me at the hospital during rounds either. She's so kind, loving, and genuine. She Ioves her job! Her office, unfortunately, is very unorganized. However, you're hiring the doctor not the office, keep this in mind. That's why I still gave 5 stars, Dr. Raizada is a 5-star OB. It's worth it to endure the crap appointments in regards to wait time in order to have an amazing OB. She just needs to fire her staff and find service-oriented, organized, and professional staff. The staff opens the door late. I literally stand outside 15-20 minutes every appointment waiting for staff to show late from lunch. They walk up nonchalantly like they could care less that pregnant patients are standing around waiting for them. No apologies, thank you for waiting, nothing. The appointment ALWAYS starts 2 hours late. Minimum. I'm there 2.5-3 hours every single appointment, period. 95% of the appointment is waiting. The staff never tells you the doctor is at the hospital delivering or doing rounds. They let you sit there like a bump on a log waiting for the doctor like she's in her office the whole time or something and she's literally not even there. So annoying. read more

Do not waste your time here. Do your research! April of 2017 I was having extreme pain in my lower stomach. I went to my primary who suggested I go see and OB. She referred me to Dr. Alwan, one of my employees told me about her bad experience with Alwan so I decided not to go with him but with Reizada instead. I make my appointment for 2 PM with her. I get there at 1:45pm and the nurse/front desk tells me I am late and my appointment was at 1. Why would it be at 1 they are on lunch at 1? She tells me I have a $30 copay so I hand her my debit card and she tells me they only take cash. There were no signs in the lobby at all and they didnt bother to tell me this when I scheduled the appointment. Strike 1. They have no ATM so she tell me there is a gas station down the street that has an ATM and I can go there and pull out cash. Fast forward to my next visit $30 copay I hand her 2 $20 Bills. She tells me she has no change and I will need to go to the pharmacy to buy something and get change. Strike 2. Dr. Reizada tells me I will have to have surgery so she tells me I am scheduled for surgery May 31st, with pre-op the 30th. I go the 30th and she tells me she will schedule me for surgery the following week. Mind you I have taken off work my boyfriend, my mom, and my dad as well. I told her no, she needed to get me on the schedule for the next day and this is absolutely ridiculous. Strike 3. I have my surgery which was supposed to be out patient. She makes me stay over night and says that she will check on me early morning and release me. She never showed. Strike 4. She calls the hospital and tells them I need to stay another day and she will be by at 8 am the following morning. She never shows again. Strike 5. I tell the nurse to call her and tell her I want to go home. She tells the nurse if I want to go home I have to go see her at her office. I have to pay $50 co-pay. I finally get cleared and tell her my legs feel numb but she tells me it's normal and the feeling will come back. A year and a month later, I still have no feeling in my legs, and her billing company calls me and tells me they are sending me to collections for an unpaid bill from surgery. $984.99 is what I owe and was never sent a bill EVER. Now I have to pay her this money but guess what she only accepts CASH OR CHECK. STAY FAR AWAY. THIS HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE . read more

Went in for a Well Women's exam. I'm new to the area and was forced to come here because she is the ONLY GYNO IN UPLAND MEDICAL GROUP! TL;DR: Do not go here!!! Here's everything that went wrong: 1. The office is out of date and run down. I didn't feel clean for a second while I was there. The ripped posters on the walls are from the 1990's. 2. Sat in the waiting room for an hour and 10 minutes after showing up 15 minutes early for my appt. No "sorry we kept you waiting." No consideration whatsoever. 3. They didn't even run my insurance before asking for a copay in CASH ONLY. My insurance covers Well Women's exams. I was told to go to an atm at a gas station down the street to pay their copay that I didn't need to pay. What kind of sketchy doctor only takes cash???? 4. I filled out their questionnaire only to be asked everything all over again by both the nurse and the doctor. No one even read my answers! 5. I was put in a room and told to undress from the waist down. No breast exam??? They gave me a paper towel to cover up. Yes, I mean a paper towel sized paper towel. 6. By the time I got to see the doctor, I was both furious and uncomfortable to a point where my legs were shaking. She LAUGHED AT ME and asked "First time?" No warning before starting the papsmear, she just started sticking things into my clearly upset body. 7. No pee test??? What if I was pregnant? They just took my word for it. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I AM PREGNANT! 8. I asked for a refill for my birth control and SHE ASKED ME TO SPELL IT FOR HER AND WRITE IT ON MY CHART MYSELF. "I don't do the prescriptions so I don't know them" is what she told me. What kind of gyno is not familiar with birth control pills?? Then she asked me why I use the generic brand. "Because that's what my insurance covers." "Oh so you use the cheap stuff instead of the stuff that works." What is that supposed to mean?! 9. "Call is in a week for your results." "You're not going to call me??" "We will, but also call us in a week." What?!? read more

Dr. Raizada is fine - a nice woman who knows what she is doing. Her office and her staff, on the other hand, is horrible. Every time I go there, I swear I will never go back because I sit and wait in the waiting room for at least an hour after my appointment time. Then, when I finally see Dr. Raizada, she is so nice and caring and spends time with me, so I decide to give her another chance. NO MORE. Christine in her office is awful. Dr. Raizada tells me one thing, tells me who in her office to speak to and what to say/ask, then when I call, Christine is a huge roadblock. It doesn't matter that I let Christine know exactly what Dr. Raizada told me, Christine still insists I come in for another office visit before putting through the referral that Dr. Raizada has already told me she was submitting for. Dr. Raizada is a nice woman and seems very capable, but due to Christine and the log waits in her office, I do not recommend Dr. Raizada. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!SHE IS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and CARELESS!!All she cares about is the money.. the type of insurance you have and if youve paid your copay prior to seeing you.. she treats her employees like slaves and feels she has the right to scream and intimidate them in front of patients.. as i was waiting in the waiting room i can hear talking to her employees in a rude disrespectful way! Im sure these girls really need the money thats why the put up with her rude dirty unprofessional attitude.. i waited over an hour to be called in and was only seen by her for approximately 10 minutes.. after waiting 25 minutes in the exam room she walks in and first thing she says is whats going on with my insurance.. she did not greet me.. welcome me into her office since i was a new patient.. or even say how are you.. first thing that came out of her mouth was WHAT INSURANCE YOU GOT? I refused to get bloodwork done that had already been done at another clinic and she simply told me "It's my clinic and you do what i say" ! Really?!She never asked me how i felt.. nothing.. the whole 10 minutes was just talking about insurance .. she later had me lay down to hear the babys heartbeat and as soon as she heard it said ok you can get up .. walked me out of the room and tried to schedule another appointment..You can just feel a bad vibe in that clinic!! To top it off they call mr 2 hrs later trying to get information to bill that office visit to my insurance.. which AGAIN only proves all she cares about is the $$ ..if i could i would rate it a 0 star.. i will never ever come back even if it was the last clinic on earth!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY and FOR YOUR OWN GOOD STAY AWAY FROM HER OFFICE!! read more
