Yesterday, Friday November 8, 2024 I sang songs written by author/musician Heather Buchanan and Tracy Kash for Heather's newest novel titled, VICTORS. It is about Black musicians who went to France to help fight in World War I. Ultimately, they were largely responsible for our victory and when they weren't fighting they were playing music, sharing the new jazz sound which influenced not only Europe but the world. My dress, purse, fan, long strand of pearls and headpiece, all purchased from the Peacock Room in the Park Shelton were a smash hit! I guess they just opened a few months ago so they are still trying to get stock in. I was able to score an item for 9 dollars!! :) It didnt take me long to look through their items as there wasnt really a lot there but once people start hearing about the store hopefully they will get some great items in. This store has been open for a year and going strong....all because of the great items for sale and the customer service. I have sold many, many items here and been very happy with the payout. There is no way that anyone would only get $11 for top end designer items so perhaps "Ashley's" comments are not completely accurate. The store has alot of variety from top end designers to average priced items...which makes sense anyway...I want a good selection to choose from, not all high end or all cheaper items, a nice variety of things...and that's what Rhyans has. There are great handbags. shoes, clothing, costume jewelry, belts...it truly is a great little store. PLEASE try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
