This is a candy shop that's small in size but bursting with a ton of different confections from all over the country. They have the Goo Goo Clusters from Nashville, Moose Munch from Medford, Hammonds from Denver, Claeys from South Bend, etc. It's certainly an eclectic selection, well appreciated for variety, but we were looking for locally made items that could keep well in the Arizona heat. We ended up purchasing some prickly pear cactus candy and their in house made mountain bark. Mountain Bark ($5.25 per square) - This is essentially an improved rice crispy treat crossed with fudge. There are tons of crispy popped rice bits interspersed with soft gooey marshmallows, some chewier melted white chocolate bits, and plenty of peanut butter flavor. It's a denser cake vs. a light and fluffy rice crispy treat, but is, dare I say, more delicious. (4/5) With such a wide variety of delicious treats, Sweet Shoppe Candy Store is definitely a great place to pick up some candy.

There is a separate lounge area that has colorful star lanterns and comfy sofas, arched windows and seating that faces out so you can watch people as the walk around downtown. They have a pretty nice cocktail and coffee menu and the drinks are not terribly priced. I had a mango mezcal drink, and it was yummy. Every time we have come here, the place has been pretty full, so it appears that the locals really like this bar, too!

Place was horrible. When I walked in the person running the front counter was nowhere to be found. I ordered a fountain soda. The fountain soda machine was broken so he gave me a soda in a bottle. After drinking it I asked for a refill. He said "it's not my fault the soda machine does not work." Bad customer service all the way around. Maybe you should have mentioned this in the beginning. If you need something to cut through the food you are trying to eat it is NOT provided. Seriously , decent plasticware should be provided! Instead , this place provides you stuff that wouldn't cut through anything!!!! I sawed on my tortilla for days before I took a bite finally giving up and than picking up burrito so I could actually eat it. This was horribly messy. There are many other burrito places in Flagstaff. I have eaten at a few of them and only chose this one cause it was next to my bank My suggestion is go to the other places. You will be able to enjoy your food and they will give you something decent to eat it with. Just hit this up for a breakfast burro. Ham, egg, cheese, potato was good. Service is slow but there are just two people working (or maybe just one?). Place is stacked with customers who seemingly do not mind sitting or standing around waiting for their vittles. Hot sauce should come in a 50 gallon barrel and you should put it on EVERYTHING - so good. If you don't mind waiting at 7 am with 20 others for a breakfast burro this is the place....well worth the wait. read more
