They advised me that I had a serious problem with my rear wheels or bearings?? that the rear wheels had a lot of slack and needed serious repair. I had doubts for reasons to long to mention. Went to 1399 Germantown Pkwy Cordova Raleigh Tire Service after checking reviews of other vehicle repair businesses on the computer. I left my truck for a valuation of any problem. Later got a phone call that the rocking back and forth of the rear wheels was with in normal slack and other then the normal fair fee for inspection there would be no charge. I visited this place 1/22/2026 and it was extremely cringe, unwelcoming, unprofessional, and to a degree, discriminative. I don't like to throw the race card around but I must be honest. Upon entering the facility, I went to the counter to inquire about tires. I'm not an expert, they are. Nonetheless, the gentlemen- who was also an older gentleman, who didn't seem as if he wanted to assist me, attempted to give me a couple of pointers. I then proceeded to ask more questions and he literally ignored my question and went to work with another customer that obviously was his preferred customer, as if I was not still standing in front of him. I turned around and walked out. So to anyone who is searching for tires, DO NOT VISIT OR SUPPORT THIS PLACE. you'd be better off going to Discount Tire where the service is impeccable and the staff members are friendly, kind, and not bigots. I was not happy with the service I received January 2025. I was moving out of TN back to the northeast. I needed to replace my cheap tires with 4 good all season tires. I have no problems with the tires. My problem was the up sell. After the tires were put on, the front desk person tried to sell me the road hazard warranty. I made the mistake of telling them I was moving out of the area and would not benefit from the road hazard warranty. They then suggested that I get a front end alignment for my "new tires". I usually avoid getting extra work done but I agreed to the front end alignment. While doing the front end alignment, they discovered that the outer tire rod and the inner tire rod had to be replaced to finish the alignment and that it was an additional $400 added to my bill. When I return to Cordova, TN, this will be last place I go to for any repair work. read more

I've been trusting them with my vehicles for years. They've been honest and not tried to up-sale me. They've fixed things other mechanics "lied" about fixing. As a woman, it's important that I don't feel ripped off by my mechanic. Like they don't know by looking at me, but I grew up working on cars. I know when I'm being ripped off and I can honestly say I trust them not to take advantage. Called about timing and general pricing for a 4 wheel brake job on a Chevy Silverado. "Well sir, it all starts with a $39 inspection fee and then pricing will be presented based on what you need." REALLY ?? Sounds like, "pricing is based upon what we think you'll pay and what other work we can convince you needs to be done". The people I use on my foreign car (doesn't focus on trucks and is busy) says, "about X per axle includes pads and resurfacing, but that's just a ball park". I expected Raleigh to have a fairly standard going price for a Chevy Truck (not like it's an unusual make and model). "Do I need to set an appointment". Reply, "Well sir, it's first come, first serve but expect to leave it for a few days cause we're backed up". What I really heard is not something I want to share in mixed company. I've stopped by a few times over the past 12 years I've lived in Cordova, hoping they could be a reasonable go-to for normal maintenance stuff I don't have time or the tools to do; but every interaction is like going to McDonalds - "Oh yeah, that's why I never come here." read more

I feel compelled to leave this review in hopes that the owner sees it and makes a change. I've been bringing my cars here for decades. It was for the longest time the best value in town. I don't know what changed, but as of the past few years they are falling off quickly. The quality of work is getting ridiculous. They literally stripped out a lug on my wheel and then tried to say it was already like that. "Luckily" they said, they could fix it (for an additional cost of course) but I know for a fact they did it themselves. Telling me to leave a car and then not getting around to it. I've had 3 full brake replacements in 3 years because they are so out of line even though I get my tires rotated regularly. It's sad because they used to be so good. David is an absolute gem still, but the quality of work is pitiful now. 2 stars for david. read more

So as a woman I'm always leary of car service centers being a woman. But Raleigh Tire Service has been my go to spot for tires for the last 13 years. They are often the best value in the city. Even when they don't have the best price the difference is generally marginal and the trust, comfort, honesty, and service more than make up for it. I had an issue with tires. I was less than a year in to my warranty but my tires were really worn and needed to be replaced because I had already exceeded my mileage. I was so upset and bumed as a new set of tires for my vehicle was around $2000 They called the manufacturer and got me a deep discount on my new set of tires. I did not even know this was possible! They had me back on the road with new wheels all around. I love this place. I have 4 cars and wouldn't get my tires any other place. When you go ask for Rusty! read more

I realize may be different tires but my request was the same. Pep Boys was $200 higher even with buy 3 get 1 free plus they had to "go get the tires" so my wait would be longer. My vintage Explorer experienced strange problems after a new battery was installed by AAA. Having it towed to Raleigh Tire East in Cordova for repair I met Sales Consultant David Jolly. The Alternator was the culprit and I gave the ok for the installation. Picking it up the next day while driving home the battery indicator light came on so I returned to the Cordova store. A quick check indicated a bad alternator. Being the end of the day and my spouse in a business meeting David Jolly volunteered to drive me to my home. I took my SUV in with an oil leak early on a Wednesday morning. By midday Thursday I had not heard back so I called to get an update. The man said it would be "soon". He called back 3 hours later to say they couldn't tell where the leak was coming from so his recommendation was to just to take the car home and watch the oil level. Really?? If I wanted to do that, I would not have wasted my time bringing it in for repair. Repair. Not opinion. Not recommendation. Not idea. Repair. I'm 76 years old with a handicap placard hanging from my rear view mirror. I told him I was not comfortable with his recommendation and if he didn't think they could fix it or didn't want to fix it, just let me know, I'll come get it and take it elsewhere. He said he'd get with his service manager and come up with something. Really?? Why didn't they do that BEFORE he called? So he called back later and said they'd wiped off the oil under the car (not sure why that wasn't the first thing they did) and put phosphorescent dye in the oil. I need to drive it for several days and the leak will show up. Sounds reasonable but I'm at a lose as to why they didn't do that BEFORE THEY CALLED? So I'm filing my invoice when I get home and notice it's for a different make, model and year of a vehicle with a VIN that does not match mine, but the invoice has my name and address. I have no way of knowing which vehicle they worked on that day that got the dye! I registered a complaint and was given an email address of someone to contact. I sent 3 emails. That was 4 days ago. Still no call or return email. If this is the best they do for seniors, I want no part of it. read more

Called in on Saturday at lunch needing two tires. It had to be done within 30 minutes installed to go out of town. They delivered in a big way! Not only did they say yes and get it done, they also fit me in a busy schedule, were very accommodating, and also are one of the few tire shops that actually have Michelin tires in stock! First experience with Raleigh Tire after being an exclusive fan of Firestone for the 12 years I've been in this area. Firestone became unresponsive to my needs, so I voted with my feet. Rusty at Raleigh Tire replaced my defective alternator/voltage regulator for LESS than the estimate and even programmed the ECM for it to start charging for no additional cost. My car was promptly fixed, at a good price, and everyone there was friendly and professional. They will get my business from now on. read more

Went to Raleigh tire (in Cordova), in Aug of 2018, with my 2006 Fi50 that was misfiring. After Raleigh Tire test drove the vehicle, I was advised to leave vehicle and they would do a diagnostic test and call with the results. After 4 hours, I called them and spoke to David. He said "while they were performing the test the transmission went out." I immediately went to the shop and told Mike Bellanti, the owner, the truck was shifting fine when I drove in. He said that he was not paying for the transmission, even though he admitted that I drove the truck in there and a member of his staff test drove my vehicle and it seemed fine, prior to the diagnostic testing. They had said vehicle towed down to Coleman and Taylor transmission and that cost me $1.600.00 to get the transmission fixed even though it was shifting fine, when I initially took it into Raleigh Tire. Once Coleman and Taylor completed the transmission work, the vehicle was then returned to Raleigh tire. Thereafter, Raleigh Tire then informs me (after multiple calls to them) that I now needed two coil packs to fix the misfiring and that would be $600.00. As such, between Raleigh Tire and Coleman & Taylor, I've spent $2,200.00. Now I'm in February 2019, 6 months later, truck started misfiring again. I contacted Raleigh tire and inquired which two coil packs they replaced. I was then advised by David that 1) the computer did not reflect any said repairs from Aug. 2018. I then spoke with Butch, the shop manager, who then advised that the previous repairs should definitely be logged into the computer and any associated information. Then David, suddenly found information in the system but it lacked the necessary information about which two (2) coil packs were changed/fixed. I then inquired about the warranty, on both parts and labor, from the work done in Aug. 2018. David said the warranty is 30 days on labor and a year on parts. As such, if the computer system does not reflect which coils were replaced, how am I (as a consumer and non-mechanic) suppose to differentiate what coil pack is under warranty and which are not?? At this point, David became very argumentative and instructed me to contact Mike Bellanti, with any further issue, complaints or concerns. After several attempts, via email, phone and even FaceBook, I still have not received any type of resolution to this situation or proof of what was actually replaced (that I PAID for). Beware of Raleigh tire and Mike Bellanti . It is my opinion that these people do not deal in good faith!! I've been a loyal, paying customer to Raleigh Tire of Cordova for over 10 years!! read more

The shop claims they're too busy to get certain jobs done but they're bays are empty, not to mention the "rude" manager got pissy when I didn't buy a battery from him! I have visited this location for years for a variety of services. All services have been excellent and that is why I returned. Today, unfortunately, I had a different experience. Stopped for an oil change and when I got my truck back, because the service person doing the oil change did nothing to protect my vehicle, the steering wheel, gear shift, door handle as well as all the places he touched were oily. This is inexcusable and now I feel very reluctant to take my other car, which needs routine service, to this location. The management needs to take steps to insure the service personal take reasonable steps to protect the vehicles. read more

I went in for an issue with my car and a diagnostic test was done. The part was replaced but as soon as I drove away my car quit on me as it was doing before it was supposedly fixed. I took it back immediately. The manager stated that the car then had another issue. How was another issue created when the car had been there all morning and there was nothing else wrong at first? They were about to close so of course no one was concerned if whether my vehicle was actually fixed. They put my original part back in and refunded my money. One star is way to high for this sham of a business. They treat customers like idiots by doing a CRAPPY job or not doing the job at all. If I have been driving a car for years, I should know when something doesn't feel right. They replaced (or not) the axle. I go back to tell them that something is wrong because my car isn't aligned and it is driving horribly. They come back and tell me there is nothing wrong. I had to back a 2nd time to tell these idiots that they were going drive this car. Finally, one person with some type of sense comes back and says the part must have been defective. I had to come back twice. How about listening to your customers?!? I tell everyone I come across not to go here unless they want to spend money, be ignored, and have to go back multiple times to get one service taken care of properly. And like Robin Z., Ann got snotty with me too. At this point, a bad attitude should have been the last thing that was a part of the experience. They need to get it together! read more

I bought a new set of tires for over a grand. I had to have my wife return it because the alignment was terribly off. She returns it and she informs me that they charged her an additional 90 dollars because she must have hit a pothole. Obviously my wife in anti-confrontational, because I would lit into the guy if I was present. I take it for a test drive in the neighborhood. The alignment is still off, just not as much. I take it on interstate and notice it shakes bad between 60 -70. I ask my wife to take it back in and let me speak to the person. The person proceeds to argue that the shaking and pulling are two different things. I pointed out that neither should be happening seeing that we paid to have the tires mounted, weighted, balanced, and aligned when we purchased them new. The original installation took 45 minutes. The second time she brought it in it took an hour. It took 6 hours to do after we complained. Stay away from these idiots! read more

I drove my car to the Cordova location for a Wheel alignment because I put new tires on and I felt a little vibration, I was told that I need a tire rod, and 3 motor mounts so I agreed to 1 front motor mount, the tire rod and the wheel alignment. The tech said you need the bottom and and rear mounts also, he got into my car, put his one foot on the gas and the other on the break raised my engine really loud then snatched my car into reverse the engine jerked really hard and I heard a loud noise.. After waiting on the repairs for 3 hours they came back to tell me that my car would not move and he had to manually shift it into 1, 2 and 3 for it to drive. When I drove my car to have the work done on it there was no issues with my transmission, the linkage or it shifting gears. The GM Mike Bellanti, who could not be reached on Saturday told me today 5/20/19 it was not their fault but they would not allow me to have it towed away from there. They want to send it to their transmission repair shop. I stayed there for 5 hours waiting on my car. I had to take a Lyft home and to work today. read more

I have been a regular customer for 15 years but no longer. I scheduled an appointment online and was told they disregard the appointments. I was further told at 12.30pm that I would have to wait all afternoon for an oil change as the mechanics were busy with "more important" jobs. The unfriendly receptionist refused to give me a time when the oil change could be started, nor a time for completion. He literally thought I should sit there all afternoon waiting. Cordova replaced wiper motor and wouldn't park in right position and hit hood. They diagnosed turn signal switch was defective and replace switch. Same problem, they adjusted wipers several times wipers hit hood. Labor was $350 and $350 parts and problem wasn't repaired. I went to another shop and they found problem. Cordova mechanic had damaged wiper transmission and didn't time wiper motor to park in right position. I had to get a wiper transmission at salvage yard. After $700 spent at Cordova and $220 at other shop I have wipers that work. My car only needed wiper motor to be installed correctly. . read more

o.k lets have a lil more current review..........i bought tires from this place...they have a warranty every 6000 miles they will rotate your tires......sounds like a good deal.....RIGHT so i go to get them rotated.....now im outside the whole time...talking on the phone....the service doors are open....I MEAN I CAN SEE YOU.....I CAN SEE MY TRUCK....im not having like a SUPERMAN MOMENT....WHERE I CAN SEE THRU WALLS OR ANYTHING...... so some time passes and they pull my truck out.....this woman ANN comes out and says my truck is ready....i look at her and say that is impossible....she asked why......well ANN i find that hard to believe.... considering my truck never left the ground....her reply is...I must be mistaken....OF COURSE THAT WOULD BE HER REPLY..... so i tell her how could that be my truck never left the ground and not only that both "lil" hub caps on the drivers side have scuff marks on them....i find it very hard to believe that would happen.....as most trucks, at least mine are rotated in a criss cross pattern...now she is looking at me like i got three heads and two of them are spinning....she just handed me my paperwork and turned around and went in....now im not sure which one was the SHOCK AND AWE MOMENT.....the part where my truck never left the ground....or the fact she turned and walked away....well thats my experience at YE OLE RALEIGH TIRES......now i do have to say.... i live about 5 miles from them and...... I CHOOSE to go to the collierville store ...my advice....YA GOT A 50/50 SHOT as far as tire rotation .....YOU FEEL LUCKY read more
