This Raley's located in the heart of Folsom is worth checking out if you are in the area. I like this location. You get the old timer customers who shop here. Some of them can be real stubborn as some older people can be. I have witnessed some of the local customers really let the employees know a piece of their mind. I do like their selection of food such as the hot items, bakery items and their fresh produce section. This store is clean on the outside and inside. If you are wanting to check out a grocery store in Folsom, this is one to look into. I love that they had Kings Hawaiian Ube rolls here. When I went to this store I felt like it was one of the cleanest ones I have been to. Helpful staff and of course a good selection.

As another Yelper stated, this Raleys seems neglected compared to the other local Raleys and Bel Air. Neglected in being understaffed. That review was over a year ago. From my recent experience this hasn't changed. That's a shame. This is not my usual Raleys I shop at. But the other day I did drop in to buy some needed staples. It was about 7 pm when I was there. There was one cash register open. The line was 6 customers deep and that doesn't include customers that bailed out. They left their grocery cart and basket high and dry and walked out. Plus they don't have self checkout here. I stuck it out and another register eventually opened. When the second register opened, my mood was uplifted . Then the cashier brings it down again. He lectured the customer before me about digital coupons. The customer asked if a particular item rang up on sale. The cashier said the discount is a digital coupon that he needs to upload to his account and "that's why it's called a digital coupon". Hmmm this automatically made my nearly nonexistent eyebrows rise. That's some attitude. The shopping vibe here is dismal. No joy in Mudville. And don't get me started on their antiquated rewards program account setup. It's not an app. The password reset takes nearly five hours for it to be sent via email. read more

Out of the three Raley's stores in town (including Bel Air), this one is by far the most neglected. The whole ambiance says, "corporate has given up on this store." While both of the other stores have brand new, polished-looking floors, this location has dirty tiles reminiscent of a Food 4 Less. I'm a huge fan of the deli wraps at either one of the other locations, but the deli wraps (specifically the fried chicken and bacon) at this location are almost always days old. It's like they only make them once per week. For $6 a wrap, I think it's reasonable to expect fresher ingredients. When it comes to fresh pastas, pickles, and sandwich meats, it can be a challenge to find anything fresh enough. It's gotten to the point where I would rather just drive to one of the other locations when I'm looking for refrigerated Buitoni or Sonoma products. Compared to the other locations, the checkout time at this store is usually exceptionally long. Most of the checkers have worked here for years, and do a really great job. They just seem to be chronically understaffed. Pricing errors are extremely common and frustrating. Labels are often left up for weeks after sales end. This store is way overdue for some kind of remodel or name change. Overall, it just doesn't live up to what one would expect from a Raley's store. read more

Bakery came through for last minute gender reveal I received the results for our baby's gender last minute on a Sunday and the bakery staff really came through for us. They put together a super cute little cake with hidden pink frosting inside within 30 minutes! They even had time to add some custom writing on top. We had a fun impromptu gender reveal with our friends and family all because of the bakeries ability to put our order together so quickly. read more

Staff Front End - Michelle (white/blonde hair lady with glasses) said there was no one to help me finding a product they stated to have in store. I came in during the morning hours when there wasn't many customers in stores. Not sure if it was because they were buy unloading packages instead but customer service wasn't great. She claimed everything was out on the floor as I watched worker wheel out boxes to unpack. I was looking for medicinal products and they had no alternative. Michelle was yelling at me throughout the store to look up front, as i already told her it displayed the same information in the aisle. All after she denied to have a worker help me out. read more

The service is really bad I walked up to the bakery stared long enough I could read there name tRyan and CeCe both stared at me and watched me stare at them for a few minutes and ignored I was there and never bothered to come ask if I needed help horrible service they were sitting there talking to each other the whole time not even working. Decided to walk around the store and do the rest of my shopping came back 20 minutes later and they hadn't moved same spot still talking and not working ignored me again so I left. This store is constantly over charging for their items. Check your receipts!! If an item is on sale make sure it rings up the sale price...countless times it doesn't ring up the tagged price and for months they are blaming it on the price checker scanner person. Last time I complained they told me "they aren't perfect" LoL I still go there because it's close to my work but I don't buy more than a few items at a time and make sure to watch what the price is when buying a sale item. If they have done it to me several times imaging how many people DONT check. Now, yes they will refund the money but you gotta go back and bring your receipt if you have already went home before discovering the mistake. read more

My experience at this Raleys was truly disappointing yesterday, October 2, at 5:15pm. Filled my cart with $80 worth of groceries. Headed to check out and was met by -----. I could tell by her first interaction with me she was not in a good mood. "How many of those do you have?!" I believe it is not the customers responsibility to have to quantify what is in my cart. After that, she proceeded to sigh heavily with everything she took out of my cart. I evidently was a bother to her. Everyone has a bad day but when you are working and representing Raley's one should leave your personal issues behind. There are many other grocery stores your customers can choose, don't be the reason they leave. The saving grace of this disastrous visit was the kind young man who bagged my groceries and was conscientious in separating my chickens from the rest of my groceries; I appreciated this gesture. As I was leaving, the manager, a tall, super kind man, thanked me for shopping and wished me well. I hope his positivity will rub off on this employee. I will most likey continue shopping here, but after yesterday's encounter, I will steer clear of this employee. read more

Raley's/Bel Air have been going steadily downhill for years and since COVID it's like they don't even care. The shelves have been overtaken by sub par, generic, Raley's brands. The selection of good, brand names are harder and harder to find. The bakery is a joke. Nothing "fresh". Just frozen, sometimes barely thawed stuff from who-knows-where. The pre made food is horrid. The deli is pathetic. The seafood case is revolting. Fish, swimming in a puddle of thawed out ice. Fish that looks like it's been there for over a day due to the dull, dried out appearance. The total lack of quality and care is concerning to say the least. The prepared stuff that is to take home and cook is absolutely revolting! They couldn't find lower grade meat for their breaded, chicken fried steak if they swept the floor of a slaughter house! I know! I just experienced the WORST dinner ever! The pre cooked ribs....what? Where did that garbage come from? They've been degraded over the years and the last iteration is inedible! "St. Louis Style?" What is that? I know but.......what IS THAT that they are trying to sell? Absolutely revolting! Threw more than half away and requested a refund. Of course, they couldn't bother to respond. Sorry this is so long but I am so disgusted with this company. My parents shopped Bel Air in Carmichael when we moved to CA from PA. I've shopped Raley's, Bel Air my entire life. NO MORE. This is a great Supermarket that offers a wide variety of products from non-GMO, organic and natural foods. They have Lottery machines here so you can play to your heart's content. I picked up a sandwich here and it was delicious. They make great paninis that's a great price compared to restaurants. There's a wide variety of different foods here as well from American to Asian. Bathroom was clean as well which is always a plus. read more

Raleys pharmacy! Let me tell you about Lorena at Raleys pharmacy. I have MS. I go pick up my prescription take it home put it in my lock box. Well I go get it two days later and she only gave me half the prescription. I call her and she tells me she gave me all of it. Now a prescription for fatigue I've been on for 7 years i won't have for 23 days. Fatigue and MS are awful. It's her word against mine. I hope she feels like shit when she does inventory at the end of the month. read more

This is not the closest store to my house, but will make the extra little trek to come here because i know they will ALWAYS have what I am looking for and have a very friendly checkout staff. They recently we did their produce display and it looks so cute and is easy to navigate with a farmers market type of feel, so they obviously take great care with the aesthetics of their store. Oh and their produce is top notch and fresh! They have a wide selection of meat and is one of the only stores in town that carry lamb steaks, a weekly favorite in my household. They have delicious baked food items and always have a wide selection. The layout is also easy to navigate and with the large amount of lanes and huge parking lot, stopping in here is always easy. read more

I like Raley's because it has fresh produce. The guy behind the deli and seafood are usually very nice. They offer samples from the prepared food section so you can decide if you want to buy it or not. They have some pretty good artisan bread... great with some proscuitto, basil, and brie (which they carry) They have great selection of organic food.. which I love. They have cool chocolates from various unique places.. . They have cool clif nectar bars that you can't find in a lot of places sometimes their clif bars go on sale, 10 for $10, MUCH better deal than Winco and Target. And I love the baking section, featuring expensive vanilla and almond extract, great for baking projects. read more

I would gave this place a zero if I could, the worst customer service ever. They would have said the peers coffee inside is not the actual Peet's Coffee, I have a reward from Peet's app for the birthday and they made the drink already, the lady said they can't take the scan code and throw the coffee away right in front of me! I realize that because of today's raising prices of groceries quite a few people are not shopping at Raleys any longer and now going to Winco, Walmart and Costco. I've been using the e-cart lately, and just LOVE it. It keeps me from buying "oh maybe I should get this" items! The 2 different ladies that have brought my groceries out to me, were both SO friendly and accommodating, it just made the whole thing so easy.
