I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews, but the quality of food was really bad. This place was also super expensive. 4.50 a taco is kind of absurd for what they gave us. We got 9 tacos and 2 burritos and 3 drinks for $80. The guys working there were super nice, but the food was just so bland. Meat seemed super cheap. I love the breakfast burritos 3 out of 4 times. But every 4th time or so they taste like rancid grease/oil, often dripping out. I usually suffer through those, but I couldn't eat the last one .. disgusting. I called them to ask, and they said they replaced the oil/grease every 5 days or so, with no schedule they could share. I'm disappointed .. but I've learned my lesson after several years of this so I won't be back. Even Jack in the Box doesn't treat their customers with such disrespect. I will add, that I almost never leave reviews, only when I feel it's truly warranted. I've been there regularly for years, it's always the same. read more

Got carne asada tacos there tonight and they were mostly just onions and tomatoes sadly. Quality seems to have gone downhill.

Guy at the window in the glasses with the mustache needs a different job. Just left this establishment seconds ago and their customer service is by far the rudest in Stanwood. We waited in line while no one was at the window and when finally helped we asked where we order due to the confusion of no one taking an order at the speaker, and he look at us like we were stupid and proceeded to say "right here" in a rude and uncalled for tone we then said "oh okay well we had been waiting here to order" and then again proceeded to gave us attitude saying he didn't see us there. I've tried this restaurant now twice both times incredibly disappointed. I ordered today the street tacos and a side of salsa with chips the salsa was 98% onion and 2% tomato it was gross. The street tacos were also flavorless with grey meat that looked and tasted microwaved. Highly disappointing. read more

Finally!!! A place in Stanwood that is open past 8pm!! All rejoice! This taco shop is relatively new in town. I waited several weeks to let them work out the kinks. Judging from the early reviews I'm glad I did. Reading some of the reviews the best thing they could mention was a drive-thru window. Why does this not surprise me ? Nobody in this town can deign to leave the confines of their sacred cars to walk in anywhere it seems. On to my take of this place. I walked in because I like to do that instead of drive-thru because you get a better feel for a joint that way. What I saw was a clean dining room and service counter. The smells from the kitchen were good too. The menu has pictures but when I saw the Carne Asada burrito, the shredded beef taco, and the rolled tacos I did not need to look any further. Something you don't know about me is I spent many years in SoCal and Phoenix where all-night taco shops abound. Ralibertos has that feel. The menu reflected it too. I ordered the burrito and one taco. The burrito was just what I wanted. Hold onto something.... it was full of Carne Asada, guacamole, and pico. That's it. No rice and beans, cheese, lettuce, a spare car tire or whatever. Just the ingredients that make a burrito. Imagine a world where your steak burrito is made with steak and no fillers? This is it. It wasn't $15 either. It was less than $7. The taco was made exactly as it should be. Deep fry the corn tortilla and the shredded beef, pry it open and stuff lettuce and cheese in it. Done. My only knock is the size of the taco. It's a three finger taco. That means you only hold it with your thumb and two fingers. It's pretty small and I was not expecting that. Lower the price to $1.50 instead of $2.25 and I won't have a beef about it (pun intended). I didn't experience any tragedies to spur a therapy session like some of the one star reviewers so I will be back there but I won't be jumping around the menu at this place. Do not expect a gourmet, ultra high brow experience here. It's a taco shop after-all and I am thankful. Hopefully it stays in business. Stanwood can be a cruel mistress to new business ventures. When everyone flocks to the new chain pizza place I'll have Ralibertos relatively to myself. See you at the taco counter.... oh wait nobody gets out of their cars around here so maybe not. read more

Excellent, authentic food! I Love their food. Since we finally tried it, we have been there at least twice a week. Have eaten crispy tacos with shredded beef, crispy tacos with ground beef, refried beans , chips and salsa ( I call pico de gallo: chopped onions, chopped tomato, cilantro), ground beef burrito, rolled tacos with guacamole and sour cream, cheese enchiladas, tostadas, rice. The good is consistently excellent. This is not a first visit - it is many. The restaurant is also so clean. They care about their restaurant. . I'll attribute my immediate discomfort after eating a burrito here to my 5 cups of coffee that morning, not the unsanitary conditions I've heard about and caught a whiff of on my way in the door... It's OK Mexican food I suppose. What seemed like a language barrier and/or an attitude problem at the front desk also bit me in that they got my order completely wrong. I'm from Arizona where great taco shops are on every corner. I was so surprised to find this gem in Stanwood. I've ordered several meals and the simple no fuss tacos are my favorite. The pico is fresh and the hot sauce is hot. The guacamole was a little weak and needed more avocado. One tip, when you can go in and order again, do it. Went through the drive through tonight around 9:50 and no one answered the drive through, pulled to the window, nothing, parked and tried to go inside because the hours on the drive through window says open every day til 12:00 and lobby open til 11:00 pm. Front door was locked with a worker cleaning inside. Tried to call and it kept ringing, tried to call again multiple times and get a busy signal like they took the phone off the hook. Super disappointing especially when hours are posted on the window. Won't be trying them again any time soon most likely. Wanted to stay local and very disappointed. read more

Worst Mexican food I've ever had - hope I will not get sick! My hubby let me talk him into trying this place for lunch. They use that cheap soy blend oil for cooking - so that was the first strike against them - it smells nasty and tastes worse. Their prices are high for cheap quality and while the food is served quickly - it's not appetising. My combo was $10.50 and hubby's was $9.00 and they both tasted bland and unappetising. My hubby's came with something wrapped in a celophane bag which you would need a sharp knife to open - I think it was some kind of carrots with currants or something. He couldn't get it opened to even try. All paper plates and plastic utensils - bottled drinks - no fresh iced tea. Self service. Pepsi Products - not much to choose that wasn't in plastic or had sugar in it - so we just drank water from the soda machine. Seriously - skip this one unless you've had a long night of drinking and want a $1 Taco at 11:30 PM (they're open until midnight) and have a drive thru. YUCK!!!! read more

Honestly, I would love to give this place a 5-star because they have long hours and the food is always fresh. They also have very friendly staff. My only complaint is the consistency of the food is not always, well, consistent. I enjoy the tacos, both soft and crunchy and many times they have either forgotten a taco (which I don't know until I get home) or the filling is nearly non existent. I wish they had better quality control, but I still like it. read more

I finally made it to this place! Ordered via the drive thru- carnitas burrito, one hard shell ground beef taco and a tamarindo. I would order both again! Based on the stars my husband and I were a bit nervous but decided to go for it anyways, because honestly, who could say 'No' to 1$ tacos. Needless to say, we actually really liked it. I was a big regular at first when the cashier was the lady with blonde hair. Ever since the cashier change and possibly the chef(s) too, the food and friendliness became less pleasing. Temperature, taste, quantity, and presentation isn't to my standards any longer. I don't know what happened!! And last night was rough. Our guacamole had brown spots in it and tasted funny. It MAY have been bad because both my husband and I had a rough evening/morning sometime after consuming their carne asada fries. My child who had the soft tacos (as well as we did) was fine. Awful. We ordered two carne asada supreme quesadillas and cheese nachos. The quesadillas were huge and flavorless, cold meat, and we waited 15 minutes for our order to be handed someone else's order and then we had to wait 5 minutes more. Not to mention the place was empty when we arrived, so not sure why there was a wait. The nacho chips that we thought would have cheese sauce had half melted cheese on stale chips. Went twice. Food was fine? I guess? First time no one knew when came on the #4 my wife wanted and no one knew how to work the register. Once they figured it out, they asked me which #4 I wanted... what? Thats right, they have 2(two) #4s... and of course, they gave me the wrong one. We ate here on 2 occassions. The first time the waitress was arrogant and the food made us very ill. The lettuce tasted like mold. The meat was dried out. A few months later, we decided to give it a second chance. The same thing happened. We both became ill. I have heard others in Stanwood complain of the exact same issues. Being we are not desperate to become a third time victim of its bad food, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Too many other places to eat in Stanwood. No ine needs rotten food. read more
