The food was good, however, our first visit will be our last. We tried to call for a reservation, their phone didn't work. We arrived to dirt chairs and dirty menus. Our waitress, was crisp and hurried. The bathroom sink was dirty and clogged with water. The sink itself looked to be uncleaned over a period of time. I'm very disappointed in the presentation, condition of the bathroom, dirty chairs and menus. The snappy attitude of our server was off putting. The steak was good. Overall, $200+ bill would of been better spent elsewhere. read more

They do an excellent job with the food quality, service, generous portions, reasonable prices, and really friendly owners and staff. One of our favorite restaurants. They have a small bar area, 4 or 5 booths, window tables, a separate room with more tables and and a semi-private room for a larger party, available by reservation. We've always had a great dining experience here. read more

Service was really nice, but the atmosphere in the back of the restaurant was cold, music loud and it felt unfinished. The food was not what we expected, very disappointing. I searched for a good, reasonably priced place for prime rib and found this spot before heading to see the Christmas lights at Warm Beach. We will definitely be back. The prime rib was delicious and cooked perfectly to order, and the chicken piccata was amazing. The portion sizes were perfect. The customer service was exceptional, and the price was absolutely worth it. The building was clean, and I'm so happy we found such a great, affordable place to eat. I even got to compliment the chef personally on the fantastic job he did. We'll be back, and we've already told our friends to check this amazing place out. read more

The only place in town to make a proper steak. I recently moved back here with my wife from Portland and I remember this location being a pawn shop. Kinda weirded me out a bit sitting where there used to be stacks of subwoofers. Our steaks were good and staff was friendly. A little pricey but worth it. read more

Overall really good. Good main dishes and starters. Staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful with recommendations. The bread they serve is great! I love that they do that. Ways they could improve: There are at least 2 tables that have stools around them. Those stools are awful. I am not a big guy and even for me the seat of those stools is just tiny and uncomfortable. There are too many dishes that come with Rice and Black beans.. obviously just my preference but the black beans and rice are just not that good. Also, just seems an odd side to some of the dishes. Would be good to note on the menu that the sautéed mushroom starter dish comes with a bajillion mushrooms. Haha! It's good but for two people, it was a lot as a starter. Maybe you could have a half order available for a two person table and a fill order for a 4 person party. Despite all this. We love the restaurant and will be back! read more

My husband and I drove by this place , and decided to give it a try . We love bistro style restaurants, and it was so inviting from the outside . Everyone was so friendly and accommodating from the get go! I ordered the halibut and it was AMAZING! Melt in your mouth good, and the sides are just as delicious. My husband got the rib eye . I am not a big steak eater, but he insisted that I HAD to try it . This was the best steak I ever tasted ! Seriously! Not only is the food delicious, top notch, and beautifully presented, you also get large portions! We went to Patini's when they first opened a few years back and it was not great. It was their first week and they had a lot of mistakes, poor service, and mediocre food which made us uninterested. So a few years go by, they're still open and I said to my husband, "Let's give them another try. " And am I glad we did. Great service, amazing steaks cooked perfectly, and a lovely relaxing evening. We have been here several times but really can only rate them on one dish. The prime rib dip is so good that we just can't bring ourselves to order anything else! Sometimes we substitute a salad for the fries but that's the limit of our deviations. This was our second - and last - visit to the restaurant. We arrived early and the restaurant was not crowded. We were seated next to the kitchen with the person who delivers food to the tables camped out in the aisle next to our table. There was also a woman sitting in the kitchen that stared at us the entire time we were there. One of the cocktails we ordered was missing an ingredient and we sent it back. They brought a replacement and immediately our food arrived. No time to enjoy the cocktail or enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. No one checked on us until the end of the meal and when asked how our meal was my husband mentioned the timing of the food delivery was poor, the person just shrugged and said "sorry" and left. read more

Who opens a restaurant during a pandemic? And not just any restaurant, a fancy one that focuses on fine dining, martinis and cocktails? Patini's in old town is the place to be with delicious food and a stylish interior. Simple elegance in the color choices and especially liked the spherical chandelier and lights over the table. I started with the filet mignon bites, wrapped in bacon and stuffed with a jalapeño cream cheese. When the menu says grilled to excellence they were serious. Tender morsels that were gone way too quickly. Next was the blackened seabass, served with black beans over white rice and a mango salsa on the side. The seabass was still light and flakey, no hard parts on the edges. Lots of flavor, with a side of some spicy sauce that some may like. The black beans over rice was surprisingly good and just enough sauce to keep the rice moist. With the mango salsa it became a small flavor explosion that was unexpected. Can't wait to try their other dishes! *Note my dinner partner had the fettuccine Alfredo with Prawns. The prawns were really good, but the sauce had something too much and not enough at the same time. When asked how the meal was, we answers that everything was really good except the Alfredo sauce. I had an early Mother's Day dinner with my daughters and everything was delicious! We started with the steak bites, wrapped in bacon, and well they were succulent! My daughter ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and the lettuce was crisp and tossed with just the right amount of dressing. I ordered the ribeye, and it was a very generous amount of steak, enough to take some home to my hubby!Of course I had to have the mushrooms to go with it! My other daughter had the medium, rare prime rib, roast it to perfection ! Of course, we topped it all off with a lemon bar !!! I was part of a parent chaperone group for my daughter's school, and we had a couple hours off duty, and we all wanted something very different than prepared camp meals for the kids. We fould the spot. What a fantastic experience. I called in a couple hours in advance to see if they could handle a group of 14, they hesitated a bit but said they would bring in another server to handle our group. The ambiance is what you would expect from a smaller town like Stanwood with a corner spot on an older city block, the type you would drive past even if you saw the sign. This inside is quite charming and the restaurant accommodated our group of 14. The server they had brought in was absolutely perfect with timing, personality, and insights into the food. The waitress took our drink order, which was very eclectic, and the bar and waitress handled everything in stride without missing a beat. The menu might be a little limited, but the selections available were great, and I think they definitely have their bases covered. And when you think that things could not get any better, along comes the food. With a large group, we were able to have many selections from the menu, and everyone had nothing but great things to say out their meal. The food was brought out with perfect timing and all together, amazing. The portion sizes were large, and you definitely felt like you got your money's worth. And did I mention that prices were very reasonable. My goodness, this place might have to become a destination spot. I've been here 4 or 5 times and for the most part found it enjoyable with good food and service. I ordered the stroganoff this time. After the first taste I remembered that I had this dish here previously. They use good cuts of beef but cook the fineness right out of it. This results in stringy texture and chalky taste. This is the best restaurant in Stanwood. I have never been disappointed. The shrimp cocktail come with 6 jumbo shrimp with the best sauce on a bed of chopped greens that also taste great with the sauce. Their Cesar salad is huge and can easily be shared. Every entree I have had has been cooked to perfection; halibut and filet mignon. I have had their Alfredo entree and wouldn't recommend or order again. Pat, the owner, is gracious and welcoming. The food is phenomenal, primarily steak and seafood perfectly cooked with all the pluses that push the envelope. There are a few pasta dishes as well. The seasonings are not over powering, usually done to compensate for poor technique in cooking. Good selection of local wines and spirits. I can't wait to try the local brandy's. read more

First time here. Very impressed with their customer service and friendly greeting when we came through their door. The wedge salad showed their attention to fresh ingredients and was delicious. For our main dishes, I ordered the seafood linguini (which was a special). Generous portions of salmon, shrimp and scallops with a bechamel white sauce. Seasoned well and executed well. My husband got the rib eye served with tender crisp asparagus and potato au gratin. The steak was a perfect medium rare seasoned spot on. We definitely will come back! read more

Overall a good experience. Staff was motivated and friendly. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer. Ribeye did not meet expectations. Thin cut though cooked well. Sides were mediocre at best. Bar/ cocktails left a lot to be desired. Too much syrup and not very knowledgeable (who serves Black Label over a cup of ice?). This is a great restaurant. Great service, exceptional cocktails, and I've never had a bad meal there. I love the French dip and they allow me to order it with a half a wedge salad, which is fantastic. if you ever go and the. macadamia nut incrusted halibut is available. Don't miss it. Made reservations for Mothers Day for my Mom, my family, and my in laws. Upon arrival they quickly sat us down and got our drink orders. Everything arrived promptly and was correct. The ambience was charming as was the waitress who was attentive and professional. Surf and Turf dish: Filet Mignon Perfectly done. Lobster was overdone with metallic taste. Potatoes Gratin was perfect, Asparagus, Perfect. Chicken Piccata: perfect, everything was really tasty, well seasoned, and tender. Creole Rice and Shrimp: really delicious and well done. Fettuccine with Prawns: really tasty prawns, noodles cooked right, however I cannot stress this enough: something was really wrong with the sauce. It tasted really weird, unlike the bite of Parmesan you get with a homemade Alfredo, this sauce smelled/tasted really bad. I wanted to give this place 5 star because almost everything else was very nice, waitstaff was amazing and professional, and my dish and many others were just fantastic. Average looking interior. I went there last year and haven't written a review. To tell you the truth I don't remember the service one way or another but what I do remember is the food. That's what I go to a restaurant for. I come from a fine dining background. My family owns fabulous restaurants, my daughter graduated from the Cordon Bleu school of cooking and I've been cooking since I was seven years old. I've eaten in many fabulous restaurants in many places and consider myself a true foodie. I thought to myself if I was the sous chef here I could add another star to this rating. The food presentation leaves a great deal to be desired. It looks just thrown on the plate. I had the Seabass it was good but again not great. The mango salsa was old and mushy it wasn't freshly prepared that evening, this is what I found true of many of the things there that things were not fresh. The food is good but definitely not great. With a little extra effort it could be a much better restaurant. I ordered the chocolate cake for dessert and it came with whipped cream out of a can ,even in mediocre restaurants it comes with real whipped cream it takes a little effort to make a raspberry drizzle sauce and a few fresh berries. Again they know nothing about the presentation. So even though the chocolate cake was good the whip cream was awful and it looked like something from a diner rather than a restaurant with those kind of prices. I might try it again once more this year I know people who go there really like it but of course you're such a limited selection of places to dine around here and I don't know what their points of references are I guess compared to the farmers café or the hamburger place Its good read more

Been waiting for them to open...finally...yay! Worth the wait. Just outstanding! Had the bacon wrapped scallops...done to perfection, altho I would prefer the bacon to be a little more crisp. Had the Frenchie Martini. They will gladly substitute gin for the vodka. Fabulous to have a 'martini bar' in Stanwood. Lovely, quiet decor...no damn tv. Hope they will have a happy hour soon. We live on Camano Island and our anniversary was yesterday. We had planned on a night at Anthonys home port but decided to try Patini's. SO VERY GLAD we did.. my wife is a classically trained chef so her standards are a bit higher than mine! Patini's did not disappoint. She had the small filet cooked perfectly to med rare and included macadamia nut encrusted halibut done to perfection! The Lemon Drop was sublime. My 8 oz filet was also perfectly prepared. If you live Stanwood / Camano area this is a MUST DO for a nice dinner and drinks.. .If you live outside, DRIVE here... you won't be disappointed! The service was excellent... Attentive yet distant... perfect! We will be back and make Patini's a regular stop for us and I will be telling all my family about the wonderful food and service. Rob Payton read more
