Right in downtown OKC....this is a really small/quaint place...that does a good job with (brunch) we had on this day. French Onion Soup: Soup went on a bit of the tart side, but was certainly enjoyable. Deviled eggs: I didn't get too much out of these....but it also doesn't help them...my wife will make the best rendition of a traditional deviled egg. Stuffed mushrooms: These were ok, but not fantastic. A lot of moisture came out of the mushroom and/or stuffing....that had the texture of the mushroom fairly mealy. Crab dip: the dip was pretty darn good. A light / fresh taste. What I didn't understand - is why serve with buttery Ritz crackers? That took away from the taste quite a bit. Burrito: I didn't try this, but my son thought it was decent. French dip: Ok....not great. Brunch Burger: Was pretty good....and different with the chunk potatoes. read more

This was my second or third visit, and I enjoyed the Alfredo pasta with lobster tail, it was delicious, especially paired with a fresh fruit cup. For appetizers, I had the baked oysters and deviled eggs. The service was prompt, and the cool ambiance makes it a great spot for lunch. Highly recommended! read more

Went for lunch and had a bacon cheese burger and onion rings. Service was good. Overall the burger was decent and very large. Not sure if it was the aoli or the patty seasoning but it was a little over powering. The onion rings were the star of the show for sure. Worst service at a restaurant. We had a dinner reservation at 7:45. There were not that many people in the restaurant so the bartender just told us to grab a seat. There was only four of us. After waiting 20 minutes, nobody came to give us menus or water. Other tables were being served so we tried to get their servers attention. When we waved at them and said "excuse me," the waiter intentionally swerved us and ignored us. We ended up walking out. Nobody should be treated like this. read more

First time here came at 9 pm with a reservation. It was very packed on Valentine's Day, we were greeted right away but we seated 10-15 minutes later. This isn't a big place so there's not much room while standing. After about 20 minutes and getting someone's attention we finally ordered our drinks. They had a four course meal selection which we weren't interested in that much food we did the individual pricing for our food. After another 25 minutes they come back to tell us they were out of the Ribeye and Prime rib so we had to settle for the Filet w asparagus and mashed potatoes and we had already told them we wanted Caesar salad which we still hadn't got. After about another 15 minutes later she tells us they're out of mashed potatoes so we had to settle for whisky glazed carrots and Alfredo pasta. We didn't eat any food until it was 10:20 that was just our salad after another 20-25 minutes we got our filets . I was expecting much more asparagus but I guess they were short on food. The food was average and this was not a good experience at all. They did take off the drinks. We didn't leave until 11 waiting for the check. read more

This is a misleading restaurant. I went for a valentines and all they had was a valentines menu. You had to purchase a $150 dish for 2. So I had to abandon the restaurant. Very disappointing to see a restaurant trying to pressure guests to spend more money. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Had a wonderful visit and the bar tender Joe made it such a wonderful experience. Also met Maleah, the mixologist, she has created this clear Margarita and this amazing old fashioned and Moscow mule. We were just visiting the area and stopped in for a quick meal. The bartender was very nice and friendly, it was quiet & relaxed on a Saturday afternoon, he said it usually is and weekdays it is busy for lunch as it is located downtown. I can't rave about this spot enough. It's a complete vibe. We have been twice and both times the service was relaxed, attentive and pleasant. You never feel in a rush and it's very calming. I love that it's not a huge space so it tends to be quiet and that is something i crave after being on the go all the time with all the family. We always plan at least 2 hours for the whole dinner experience. No one is in a hurry and it's such a perk. For Valentines they had a special menu for two. You selected 1 appetizer from their list, 2 salads, 2 entrees & 1 dessert. The food was more than I anticipated size wise and we were so full! The prime rib was perfect with the dry rub seasoning they use. The filet was cooked just right and my husband really enjoyed the flavor and presentation of the lobster add-on. I barely site the sides being i was so full but the couple of bites i did have a thoroughly enjoyed. The potatoes were seasoned just right and the asparagus was tender and yet crisp so not soggy. So good! The wings were something we almost didn't choose but we were both so glad we did. The sauce was so delicious! The purple carrots were a nice touch. We went with one house salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a Caesar salad. To be real, I would probably go with both house salads next visit. The Caesar dressing was a little too heavy and the amount of Parmesan was a bit too much as well. The croutons were a delight though! lol! The house salad was a little less heavy and the fresh greens were so tasty! Overall, we love this spot in the city. It's tucked away on a not so busy street and is so enjoyable. I found this place on google, it seems like a cute little bistro type place, though a little pricey. I work one building over, so I decided to order online for lunch and go pick it up. I ordered through the first option listed on their google page, which was seamless? I have never heard of it before, which is probably on me. When I got there, the bartender seemed confused about my order, and went to check in the back. She was super sweet about it. When she came back she brought another employee with her, a manager possibly? This employee was INCREDIBLY rude from the very first words she spoke. She was short with me, and talked about me like I wasn't there. She proceeded to explain (to the bar tender, not to me) that the website I had ordered and paid through was not accepted by them and "she" (referring to me while I was right in front of her) needs to contact google. Basically saying "It's not my problem" in the rudest way possible. I would have been extremely willing to order in person and request a refund from whatever website I accidentally ordered from, should she have been kinder. I simply thanked the bartender, took my phone back from showing her the confirmation code, and left. I will not be returning. I honestly feel bad for the bartender if that is who she has to put up with at work. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. read more

Had some friends coming to town for a show at Paycom - they suggested dining here and as a local I had actually never heard of it! I read the other reviews before attending and...unfortunately a lot of the lower ratings are spot on. -Tables are crowded together making it pretty difficult to get from the door to a table if the place is busy - let alone the servers to get around with drinks and plates of food. If you have a large group avoid this place. - very loud, could use some acoustic treatments on the ceilings to help with the ambiance. -understaffed - one bar tender and two servers, not sure how many folks in back. We were there at a time where they were at capacity (Adam Sandler was performing at Paycom). Service would have been worlds better with someone bar backing/helping with expo. The food was alright, menu was a bit confusing because there are "high end" items and then regular stuff like a burger for $16. Yes there's a lack of flavor/seasoning. Menu could definitely use a make over. The name and location makes you think this place is upscale, but the ambiance and food selection is to the contrary. Even though we left unimpressed, we still tipped 20% because our server was doing the best he could with what he had. I know for me personally, this experience has given me trust issues. Steak was ordered. Steak came out, steak was cut into. My brothers it was RAW. Pink and white and squishy. This is fine, we breathe. We tell the server it is too raw for our taste...she then takes the steak away on a separate plate. The steak is in timeout, if you will. This begins not one not two but three trips back and forth from the kitchen. The steak was tired from its many journeys on and off the grill. It began to grow limp and wet. But somehow, it never managed to get past mid rare.:( I felt bad for the steak, but we simply could not eat it as the experience was tainted by its many journeys....what had it seen? What had it been through? We didn't want to find out. Eventually we gave up. We did not receive new steak or get the cost removed. Unfortunately also the wings were almost completely black :( I cannot speak to the fries, didn't get them but they are probably bussing. read more

Was looking for a place to go that was within walking distance to the Civic Center and this place popped up on Google. We made reservations same day and got in pretty easily and were even running a few minutes behind. They have free parking at the garage directly south of them in the Devon parking garage. (Park and Harvey). It's a very small restaurant but super cute and the placement of it is just very unique in my opinion. They only serve lunch and dinner. We will definitely go back but it is more for date night I would not say super kid friendly just because it's a more intimate setting and my children like to be loud ha ha so this would be a place I would just go with grown-ups. Also will add this is a pricey place. Not a diner or chain food pricing. When we got there they had already had our places sat for us at a table and Audrey waited on us. She was very nice and quick. They didn't have any bread or anything which was fine for us. Their menu isn't huge but everything on it looked amazing. I was torn between the steak and the salmon and the waitress recommended the salmon so that's what I got, and she was right it was phenomenal. My husband got the pork chops and he said they were amazing as well. And we also had a shrimp cocktail appetizer which was fantastic. read more

The vibe of the restaurant itself seemed good. Unfortunately a table of absolutely screaming women was there. I know they were celebrating but it was so so so loud for 1 pm. And the staff didn't seem to care until I mentioned something a full 30 minutes into my meal. I tried to put up with it for a while. I dont want to have to be that person but they were literally hurting my ears they were so loud. I shouldn't have to ask you to do something about people shouting so loud in a small restaurant. The service was really slow so I was stuck listening to them for extra long. I tried to pay with card and the server disappears for 15 minutes. I finally give up and put down cash so I can leave. And he appears suddenly. Offers to get me change. No thank you. I would pay any amount of money to get the heck out of there by that point. The food was just OK. Avocado was past it's prime and had that funny taste to it. French toast was like 80% egg flavor. Maybe the inside wasn't done cooking? All I tasted was egg. Could have used syrup to dip it in too. The Manhattan was chosen for a fancy date night for my boyfriend and I. We had high hopes from the pictures and reviews. I was especially excited since I was born and raised in NYC. Overall, it was underwhelming and was definitely the low point of our fancy date night. There is only street parking only and depending on the time, you'll need to pay for meters. Parking can be scarce during peak hours. The decor is lovely and romantic. Reservations were easily made and we were seated promptly. That's when things started to go downhill. There were two ladies seating, serving and bartending, with a man occasionally bringing out food. The restaurant is small and less than half full when we went, so we figured we were ok. We were wrong. I ordered a cocktail and it was great! I wanted a second one but no server was anywhere to be found. When our food was dropped off so quickly we never got a word in. We got the deviled eggs and quick pickles- would not recommend either. They use a lot of mustard in their deviled eggs and the 'quick' pickles were way too pickled, almost inedible. I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was amazing. Boyfriend got the steak and it was overcooked and dry. They did put a lot of sauce on it and it helped. We couldn't send it back or say anything as again, no server was to be found. We agree we've had better steaks at chain steakhouses. Overall, I felt like we paid too much for a mediocre experience. While staying in Bricktown, I decided to try my luck at a nearby restaurant. I lucked out on street parking. I had an excellent Bloody Mary and the Lobster Roll with spicy cole slaw. The lobster roll was great but there was a lot of bread - too much for me to take a full bite, but I managed. The slaw had a lot of dressing but the cabbage was able to hold up to the dressing. Ahhh loved it here. Got dinner here our first night in town. It's a smaller location than we thought, but we made a reservation and had the place almost to ourselves. Our server was nice and attentive. We had Will's balls for appetizer. Had a good flavor and came out in time. I ordered the lobster Mac and it was delicious. I ordered their lavender drink and it was great. All the meals looked amazing and tasted just as good. The only drink that wasn't great was their margarita. That was sent back. Got chocolate cake for desert and that was the only part we were all let down by. Not what we expected and didn't finish it because it just wasn't that great. Cute little restaurant/bar in the heart of downtown Oklahoma. We had reservations for 5 and were immediately seated (all tables were empty when we got there at 7 PM on a Thursday evening). The bartender attended to us soon after we were seated and proceeded to mention their specials for the evening. She was very pleasant and did not hesitate to mention her recommendations. We started with a couple of appetizers: crab cake (highly recommend) and the charcuterie board (I enjoyed the pickled vegetables). From there, we had the following: Smoked pork belly- tasted good but I would have preferred crispy belly. It's really a personal preference. Lemon Linguine- it was ok. It had shrimp that was a little too fishy. Onion Soup- good but we've had better Big Apple Salad- delicious! We enjoyed the zesty dressing In all honesty, we were very pleased with the service. The food choices were ok only because there were some dishes that were really delicious and others that could have used more love. Will I return? Maybe. read more

Went for lunch with a group of coworkers. We entered from the street and were met with no one. There was no one behind the bar of anywhere in the front. We took a table and sat. Several minutes later two employees emerged from the back. Our server came and took our drink order, which was waters with a couple of iced teas. We received our drinks, were told the specials in an unenthusiastic way, and placed our orders. Nothing on the menu seemed to be exorbitantly priced but then.... We received our orders and I had ordered a pesto chicken wrap with potato wedges. It was the smallest lunch wrap I've ever seen. It was like a small sized tortilla wrap, there was plenty of chicken in it, but hardly any pesto. The wedges were large and seasoned well, but no ketchup or other condiments were offered and none were on the table. It was definitely an unwhelming lunch for $11. A member of my party had ordered the club sandwich and it had some ground roast beef, like a pate, with the turkey and bacon. It was definitely not pleasing to the eye or the pallet, according to her. Another person ordered the french dip. The roast beef was super fatty and the au jus had no flavor. It was like brown water. Overall, it was an experience. It was an experience I won't be clamoring to repeat. read more

This place was absolutely amazing! Chef Samsquatch was so inviting. He came to our table and recommended the Steak which was the special of the day, and we are so happy that he did. The steak was marinated to perfection and the risotto had and amazing kick with a punch of flavor. The wings were fried beautifully and the Caesar salad was a great side to go with it. Let me start by saying I WAS looking forward to trying their Sunday Brunch; however we were left disappointed and almost embarrassed for staying. We get there and are stunned to see nobody else is there to have Sunday Brunch at 12:00, so we chopped it up to them only having been open since 11:00. Then we sit down and look at the menu which is not what is showing on their website which caused some disappointment as everything we were looking forward to trying wasn't available. Then we get to order and the waitress tells us finally at that time they're not making waffles for the chicken and waffle dish which is the only meal that some of us wanted at that point. Finally after 30 minutes we hear the cook ring the bell that our food is ready and then we also heard she's done cooking and not taking anymore orders, I feel like if you're done after making barely 6 meals you need to find a new job. The freshly brewed pot of coffee wasn't tasting great, the ham on the breakfast club sandwich was ice cold which shocked us all and the soup of the day was barely lukewarm. All in all for a place like this we were disappointed and have no desire to return or recommend to anyone. I gave it two stars only because I felt bad for the waitress who seemed annoyed that the cook planned on not cooking after only having to prepare our party of 5 meals and an older couple who came in afterwards. read more

Our cocktails were unanimously delicious, and we really enjoyed both appetizers, the mac and cheese bites and the stuffed mushrooms. Our dinner entrees were good, nicely prepared and filling, so we don't have any complaints. Especially considering the reasonable prices, we got what we paid for. I had the salmon, others got a burger, the caesar salad with chicken, and risotto. The hit of the evening, though, was our waitperson, Joe. He could hear us thinking, I swear! We never waited for anything, even though he was incredibly busy. We want to go back for more of a happy hour experience and hope he's there when we are. To top it all off, we left binoculars in our dash out the door, and Joe had kept them safeguarded, ready for a quick pickup when the show was over.
