Let me start by saying the company and staff is 5 STARS. Hands down. Last year, at the end of summer, I purchased a white hardtop for my 4 door Bronco. The staff was incredible. Very nice and helpful and the price is obviously, a win. With a lot of help, I was able to have it installed and I have loved it all winter. It's beautiful. No leaks. A ton of compliments. But here I am, at the start of Spring, the weather is getting nice and I am having the hardest time removing the front portion of my hard top. It's about 30 to 40 lbs. (an estimate) I am of small to medium build. It is heavy and very awkward to remove and store in my cargo area. Seats must be down and to put it back on is impossible for me. I simply can not do it with out someone here to assist. And that is not convenient. I do not always have someone here to help. Or if I am out and about and the sun comes out, I do not have the ease of removing that portion of my hard top. This, to me, is the whole point in owning a Bronco. If you're of small build, this may not work for you. My suggestion? Rally Tops needs to design and build a two part front portion (just like Ford). AND.... for those of us who already bought a hard top, sell that part separately. As for now, I am driving a Bronco that I can't fully enjoy. And this.. makes me so sad. So with that being said, I have to leave a 3 Star Rating. If Rally Tops can come back with a fix... I will gladly come back and change this review. My fiancé and I bought a top from Rally Tops for a JL Wrangler in December 2022. We received an invoice for a JK top, not a JL top, but the company assured us that we were indeed sent a JL. When the top arrived on 1/16/23, the instructions were for a JK. I did my best with installation, spent weeks trying to get it to stop leaking from every possible edge and crack, and contacted numerous individuals to stop the leaking. I contacted Rally Tops on 2/18/23 to request a refund for the order. I contacted them many times and through many email addresses and received no reply for three months. I eventually received a reply on 5/18/23 informing me that their product was not defective and they would help me make adjustments. And/or I could ship the top back to them for a full refund. However, at this point, three months had passed by with the company ignoring me. The top had eventually been taken to the dump. Rally Tops has now refused again and again to provide a refund as they do not accept refunds without me shipping back the top. The top cannot be shipped back since it was taken to the dump due to their negligence in responding to emails (for 3 months!). A reasonable person living in an apartment cannot keep a top on the sidewalk for three months. Due to a horrible inability to respond to customers, a horribly leaky product, and paperwork stating a different product than that which was sent... I highly recommend not buying from this company. read more

This is the best add-on I have done for my 2002 Chevy Tracker ZR-2 convertible! One regret is adding the sliding window option which leaks because of the installed angle, but otherwise the cap is a perfect fit to my vehicle. Great workmanship. I did add a u-channel rubber strip from Amazon where the shell contacts the body and all squeaks vanished. The extra brake light is another great safety add, and I installed a LED brake light flasher from Amazon for more effective braking notification. I love the fact that the vehicle is much quieter, and adding a foam sheet between the cabin and the back also allows for faster cool down during our hot Tucson summer months by isolating the new 'trunk' from the cabin. Belongings are now more secure because the vehicle is no longer key less entry - sometimes called a 'zipper'. Installed late August 2018 and has been on my vehicle since. Bottom line: Worth every dollar and looks unique and great! read more

Just got my top for my Kia Sportage, after a 4 month wait. Then it didn't want to go on right. One side sticks out a little farther the the other. The back lift gate is off center by a 1/2in to the driver side. Called them just to see if someone could walk me thought the install, but all I was told was send in pictures& someone would call me, they never did. The online instruction & the ones they send you are not the same. Their install video on YouTube doesn't help because all it show is them unzipping the old rag top then some old guys talking. I did get it on I don't think the fit is the best. Over all the top its self look good just wish it fit better. Customer service gets a -0 not helpful at all. read more

If you're looking for an aftermarket hardtop for an obscure, often forgotten SUV (or a Jeep) then this is the place for you! I was unable to find a used OEM hardtop for my '98 Isuzu Amigo. I called these people and were happy to hear that they sold hardtops for my mini SUV. The bad news was the tops are custom-made and there was a three week wait. The good news is they didn't require a deposit. I placed my order and waited to hear that my top was ready. Three weeks later I got a call that the top was ready. I opted to have the top installed at their facility to save the cost of having the top shipped to me. Their installers seemed professional, they worked carefully to remove the bits of my SUV which wouldn't be needed with the hardtop but would be when I want to go back to the soft top (next summer). it took about twenty minutes but soon the top was installed and looked great! It almost looks like something which would have been installed by the dealer back when this SUV was new. I also like the way the rear window mounts (on my model it was very similar to the rear window on a camper shell) and being able to drive with it open is an added bonus! They make tops for, shall we call them 'less popular' vehicles along with tops and doors for Jeeps. I was impressed that all fiberglassing is done there on-site and not in another country, that means something to me. read more

So far so good, my order is in. Order process and customer service was fantastic. Can't wait. Will update my review once the product arrives. Top came and appeared to be in good condition. Arrived fast. Packaged very professionally. Like it much better than the factory and its a 2 piece for my jeep!! Now that everything is on, I now see that the paint didn't fully cure and the bubble wrap stuck to the hard top and left a pattern in certain spots. Additionally, I've now discovered it doesn't fit perfectly at the front and upon washing it, part of the seal is in pieces. I've also noticed in the back and on the sides, the green underneath is showing and there was not enough layers of paint. The owner called me today and was happy to remedy the problem. I'm going to visit their office in California and get a replacement top and have them install it. Little hiccups here and there but I'm happy with service and can't wait to get the replacement. read more

Ordered the JK 4 door slant hardtop in september and it took 2 months to ship. Top arrived in the crate but the windows were very scratched due to poor packing. Both sides have heavy scratches. The top had quite a few imperfections in it and it the fitment is awful. It took 3 people about 5 hours to get it to line up with the bolt holes. Once it was installed the removable panel did not fit correctly and had to be adjusted multiple times to even sit correctly. After all the problems installing it the top leaks like a faucet. I purchased this top to prevent this exact issue and its worse now than my soft top was. I have called and emailed multiple times and no one responds. For the price of the top it is definitely not worth it. So dissapointed for such a large purchase. read more

Field tested! I bought my KIA Sportage hard top from Rally in 2007 and it's still in great shape, no leaks and even the struts still work perfectly! It's had about 40,000 back country miles on it, and a total of 150,000. Purchased new uppers for a Jeep YJ and found build quality to be extremely poor (sliding windows will break in a year of normal use), plastic connectors will deteriorate and start breaking and company aware of their poor build quality as tell me they outsource parts from other venders. If I could give a Zero star I would. When ordering I asked how long it would take to me made and shipped BEFORE! Ordering they emailed me back and said 3-4 weeks to be made and another week for shipping. I ordered a JK slanted hardtop. It has now been 11 weeks and I still have not received my top. I called multiple times and each time I called they said it will be shipped out Friday, it will be shipped out Monday, it will be shipped out tomorrow, a new date each and every time. I j defat and Covid has pushed things back but what I do not understand is why someone would constantly lie to me about when my item that I've paid 3k on would be shipped. They make these tips out of California I am in Missouri where it has been snowing, if they would've been honest with me I would've ordered my hard top somewhere else. I will never order anything from them ever again and I work in the automotive industry, in which I've already advised 4 people not to use this company. I will continue to do so in the future. Occasionally, I am fortunate enough to not only deal with the owner, but an owner that is also the manufacturer. Jerry, the owner of Rally Tops is one of those individuals. He is hands on in the manufacturing, as well as distribution and sales. For that, I commend him. From my own experience, one can become overwhelmed and stretched thin. He does an excellent job at maintaining a great business on all fronts. I know the public can be trying at times and an owner and a business will attract that issue anytime. Just purchased my sport top and had it installed at there shop. Took 2 1/2 hours they scratched my newly painted car and didn't seem to fazed by it. The employees did the best they could but in no way is it water tight. I will have to remove and fix myself. The mold they use was suppose to be new but the top lacked uniformity. It stuck out in one place and on the opposite side it seemed to tuck in. They botched the angle on the roof corners and in no way match my cars angle and when I brought it up he said my car has had some damage when in fact I know it didn't. If I was a perfectionist I would be going crazy. Unfortunately no one else has this top so I will fix the flaws my self.
