Hidden gem in Downey. Can't speak any more highly about this place. Used yelps service to message the shop and got quick responses. Came in and a very knowledgeable young lady gave me a run down on the different options I had for a truck bed cover. Even had a display with each cover and could order anything not there. To be honest this place was the only one that responded that had no charge for installation and the truck bed cover was only a few bucks over what it would have cost to have ordered it from the manufacturers web site. Great experience right from the start. I found them on a Craigslist search for a topper for my F150. I called them and asked a few questions and they were super helpful and very honest on the condition of the shells I was asking. Drive out to see one particular one in person and was greeted by Esmeralda, she's super helpful and they are not a pushy dealer by any means. I would have expected them to try and sell me a new one vs a pre-owned one or some kind of upsell on something and they never did. I've had this cap for under a month and other than the minor problems like paint chipping, the handle falling of the sliding glass window, and scratches from installation, the cap just doesn't fit. It's about 2" too wide for my truck - even though it was custom made for it. The whole process has just been bad from beginning to end. Starting with an installation that took 5 hours and still didn't have the lock switch hooked up properly (I had to take it to a stereo shop and pay them $75 to fix it). Then all the problems I mentioned above, and finally the excuses I have been given as to why these things happened. The reason I have been given is that this is a hand made product and nothing is perfect. That is an excuse for a poorly manufactured product. I asked for a return/refund and have been denied. Since it is a custom made product, they will not take it back, even if it is flawed and doesn't fit properly. I have wasted days of time with this cap and been given nothing but excuses by the dealer and the manufacturer. I wish I had just gone with one of the more reliable manufacturers like Leer. read more

I needed a camper shell for the truck I recently bought and did a Google search to find a merchant in the area. After a few phone calls and checking out a couple of dealers I ended up here as they had a couple of cheap used ones available, as well as an array of new ones. When I got here the owner, Luis, showed me several he had that could fit my truck. As I couldn't decide, he got his fork lift out and set them each on my truck to show me how they would look. This took about an hour of time but there was no feeling of me being demanding or taking up his time. In fact, he was very obliging and made a point of letting me know all the prices, from cheapest to most expensive. When I finally decided on one, he got his skilled assistants working on it asap and they had it set up in short order. My truck had an old style bedliner in it that required trimming to fit the shell on and Luis was able to demonstrate his cutting skills, proving that an expert does make a difference, and is a pleasure to behold at work. Cut to a few weeks later; the window winch broke and I brought my truck back to see what they could do. It appeared to be a problem, but in no time his genius assistant had figured something out and was creating a new gadget to replace the broken original. The price? No charge.
