Unlike many shops, including any of the big chain/corporate shops, Ron and his staff aren't just looking at padding the bottom line. They'll tell you what they recommend replacing/fixing now only if it really needs to be replaced/fixed now. If something still looks good, they'll tell you that, and tell you if they think that you may need to have it replaced at some point down the line. If your front breaks are still at 60% but your back brakes are in dire need of replacement, they'll tell you that, and recommend only replacing the rear brakes because you still have plenty on your front. Another great thing about Ron's is they'll even show you what or why they need to do something before they do it if you're waiting on site or otherwise just want to see it, just to show you that everything truly is, on the up and up. Ron's is the first place I recommend anytime one of my friends tell me they are having car issues. Those who do take their cars to him, will often thank me because the quality of service they received was excellent, and the prices were much lower than they were expecting.

I was all set to pay $1000 for labor and a new radiator. I had to wait several days to get the truck into their shop, but it was worth the wait. Once in the shop they confirmed my diagnosis and gave me an estimate of $674. I gave them the go ahead and they replaced the leaking radiator with a new one, and had it done that same day for $674. To top it all off, they were able to give me a ride to and from my house to drop off and pick up the truck, no charge. These guys are honest, quick (once they get you in), and dependable.
