I took my car into Neal Automotive when the engine light came on. They told me it also needed new tires, so I agreed to have new tires put on at the same time, assuming that they would repair whatever was wrong with the car. I picked up the car and paid over $1500. Two days later, the engine light was back on. When I took it back, they said it needed a whole engine, at the cost of $14,000. Since it was a 6 year old Ford, I didn't think it was worth it. They also told me it wasn't safe to drive, so within a week, I bought a new car, trading the old one in, with the engine light still on. I asked Neal for my money back since they did not fix my car and I would never have put new tires on the car if I had been told it needed a new engine. The manager not only refused, but was very rude. I have reported them to the Consumer Affairs Department of the Indiana Attorney General's office. read more
