Jonathan and Ralph's Transfer/NA VanLines are LIFE SAVERS!!! They were not the cheapest estimate, so I didn't choose them at first...and it's absolutely true that "you get what you pay for!" The other company (Prestige Movers--BEWARE!!!!!) not only LIED about everything and tried to TRIPLE the total cost over their BINDING ESTIMATE, but they took all of my household goods to a "secret" warehouse in Los Angeles and held them hostage!! My husband and I had already moved to Houston, TX and were therefore nowhere near LA in order to get our things from them; Jonathan immediately came to our rescue!!!! We called him at 5pm on a Friday, and by the time the place in LA opened on Monday at 8am, he had a driver/truck there and picked up all of our goods and safely transported them back to their warehouse in Tucson for us!! We hadn't yet found a home in Houston, so Ralph's graciously stored and inventoried our items to document the damage the other company had done and to ensure that they hadn't kept (stolen) any of our items. Once we found a house and identified our move-in date, Jonathan arranged to have our goods delivered--and they were on time, in excellent condition, and allowed us to comfortably and happily settle into our new surroundings. We don't know what we would have done without Jonathan's help, concern and true commitment to helping us. I can't recommend them enough!!! read more

They say moving is one of the top stress producers within a marriage, and I would have to agree. Even choosing a company to whom you will trust your treasured belongings can be stressful. Of course, today, even small companies want to direct you to their website where your questions can be answered, but you can do all the work yourself. I was pleasantly surprised when the president of Ralph's, Rob Wicks came to our house, inventoried the contents to be moved and then wrote up a detailed quote so that there would be no misunderstandings. Ralph's office staff stayed in constant communication with us, making sure we were kept abreast of any changes and that there would be no confusion as to what we as consumers could expect. On the day of the move, I received a call from the driver letting me know they were on their way and what time we could expect them. Three young men arrived and immediately began the process of moving us. In the eight hours that the move lasted, these three young men worked extremely hard and were very conscience of protecting each one of the items they moved. This is in response to an earlier review I wrote re: employees of Ralph's showing up to my home to deliver a new mattress without masks when I was told on the phone they would be masked. I originally gave 2 stars because of this but I want to change this to a 5 star because of the quick response from the business owner both in writing and a personal apology on the phone. Having owned a business myself for 20 years I know the importance of keeping the customer satisfied and to always make any wrongs right. No business owner can keep a watch over their employees all day long. You have to build trust with your people to do the "right" thing and act in a professional matter. The 2 gentlemen who delivered my mattress were both outgoing, respectful, and friendly....they just didn't have masks. They should not be reprimanded, only instructed to wear the proper PPE when delivering inside people's homes during a pandemic. I would hope all employees delivering inside people's homes are vaccinated especially to homes of older more vulnerable customers. Once again, I appreciate the written response and phone call from Ralph to personally apologize and would not hesitate to use Ralph"s moving and storage for any future moving or deliveries. read more

We LOVED our moving experience with Ralph's. Within days of us calling, the president of the company came to our house to give us an estimate. They promptly sent us the estimate and offered to loan us as many boxes as we'd need to pack our house. In fact, they made two deliveries of boxes of various sizes to help us. On the day of the move, they arrived promptly at the beginning of the window they had given us and called 30 mins before they arrived to let us know they were coming. And they came with tons more boxes for us, including wardrobe boxes, which were a Godsend. The moving team was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. And they were the hardest working people I've ever seen! From the moment they arrived, they hit the ground running. They ensured the house was protected with mats throughout and buffers on the doorway to ensure no damage would be done. They worked quickly and tirelessly and guaranteed that all of our items were protected. Nothing was broken in the move. They were truly awesome. And the best part--they came in UNDER the estimate! I moved home to Tucson from Denver, Colorado, in a hurry and used Ralph's for my packing, moving, and storage. I prefer local, family owned businesses, which come highly recommended, and Ralph's is all of the above. Everything from the estimate, packing, and unloading went quickly and smooth, which was a huge stress relief, as anyone who is moving can relate to the anxiety factor. For everything I couldn't bear to part with and don't have room for, I placed in a storage vault in their warehouse. Ralphs Moving and Storage with Kathleen assisting us made our large but short move of 7.7 Miles of moving so easy and on 12-23-16. Two gentleman came to our house and asked what was being moved - I said anything big and bulky. All padded up and very neatly We filled a truck drove to the next house and we were done in approximately six hours of time. Horrible customer service. If you confront them about a lie they told - they hang up. They were suppose to deliver my product 2 weeks ago and never did. Even told my supplier that I already had it when come to find out, they had no intentions of delivering it any time soon.
