All My Sons moving was recommended by a friend as a great company to help with our local move. Word of mouth is often the best guide, on this case for us it certainly was the case! From the folks I spoke with at the corporate hub office, to the local city office directors, and on down to the actual moving team everyone was friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. We had to reschedule multiple times as we were stuck in the limbo of a new home being built with constant changes to the closing date. John in the Tucson Az office was so understanding and made the stress we were going through so much lighter! The three guys who did the actual move were all friendly and hard working. From the start it was obvious they were very savvy with how to load and pack the truck. They worked quickly and smart to securely load the truck to avoid any damages. We used them a second time to unload a POD which held all of our heavy garage items. It was cooking hot in Tucson in Aug, a crazy time to move there, but these guys just dug into it with no complaints, all three worked hard and had great attitudes. They not only responded to my asks, but actually welcomed my requests for specific placements of things as they unloaded. A great business, I highly recommend them! read more

We recently had them help with loading. We paid close to $800 for 2 hours work. They are incredibly overpriced and not worth the money. They tack on random fees. This was sometime ago back. I called to have my piano moved from my home to my sister's home. Both homes on a single floor, no 2nd floor. They gave me a estimate and price was okay and I agreed. The day of the move. The 2 movers were late. No phone call. They showed up an hour after the time window they gave me. I showed them the piano and they had no idea they were going to be moving a piano. At the last moment. I decided to declined their moving services because they had no experience moving a piano. I was given information from someone that lived in TX three weeks before the move but sadly the gentleman moving me weren't updated and this could have cost me my life since I was moving out by stealth. The movers themselves were wonderful - they worked quickly and tirelessly. One or two broken items but that's expected. When it was time to pay the cost was double the quote due to an 18% gas tariff. A gas tariff? I nearly fainted on the spot but what could I do about it? But here's a question: what if I didn't have the extra money? I won't be using this company ever again no matter how nice, polite and hard working their movers are. I felt disrespected by the cost being double the quote. I wrote down names and dates with price quoted and I'm not mistaken about what the cost was supposed to be. That was just wrong. The 3-man team; Alphonso, Lo, and Von were fantastic! They arrived in a very large truck to move my father to his new house in Green Valley which was about a 5 minute drive. There was A LOT to move and the 3 movers took great care wrapping every piece of furniture and loading everything up. Once at the new house, we directed where everything should go and the move was completed in about 5 hours in 100+ degree heat! It would have taken my family 2-3 days to complete it. All 3 guys were very friendly, courteous, and professional! I would definitely use All My Sons again and specifically ask for Alphonso, Lo, and Von again. read more

Awful experience. Would not recommend or ever use their services again. We moved from Tucson to Albuquerque and were quoted a price for packing and moving our townhome based off of a video walkthrough of our entire place. When the movers arrived they were under the impression that it would be a quick 4 hour job. Instead it lasted the entire day after they arrived almost 2 hours later than we were told to expect them. When they started the job, they started telling us that it would be a much bigger job than what we were quoted. When the person in charge got a hold of the quoter, Kyle, he told him that we lied to him and didn't him show him everything that needed to be packed, which was a complete lie, as it was all on a zoom call, not to mention we he already packed several boxes beforehand, and suddenly we were paying another $1000+. One of the guys, Daniel, spent the entire day in one of our rooms and accomplished nothing but complaining the whole time about how he had been up since three in the morning. His attitude was reflected in what work he did accomplish by carelessly throwing a mix of fragile and heavy items in multiple boxes with no cushion, just to get things done quicker. Items arrived upside down, tossed around and broken. Meanwhile, we're also told to leave everything in our dressers as it would be easier to have them wrapped and just moved as is. To our surprise, the guy who moved our dressers packed everything in each dresser (with the exception of one drawer each for some reason) into boxes, which we had to re-sort through once we got to our new place, which we were not expecting, and caused one of my dressers to basically fall apart due to lack of support, and is completely not useable. One of my lampshades was bent out of shape so that it could be taken off and put in a box, even though it could have been easily twisted off had they asked how it could be taken off. After all this, they said they ran out of space and could not put everything in the truck. This left behind shelves with the bookcases they went onto and vice versa, so I was forced to rent another U-Haul for $650+ and load and drive myself in the middle of the night the next day, which is when our truck was supposed to deliver to our new address. Hours after the driver did not show, my partner had to call to find out that there was a delay and it would not be delivered until the next day, which meant we had to get a hotel for another night and pay even more money since we had nothing to sleep on or sit on in our new location. When everything was finally delivered the next day, boxes were strewn about in the wrong rooms despite being labeled where they were supposed to go. Everything was just placed wherever instead of around the perimeter of the rooms, so I had to move around the maze they created, climbing over boxes to get to what I needed because there was no clear path to walk through. Overall terrible moving experience and I will highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere. I overpaid multiple times for the same trip and didn't even get what I paid for. Ridiculous. read more

This is an update of my previous review of our experience with a household move we had with All My Sons On June 30, 2025. The only contact All My Sons allowed us is through email. They gave me a phone number to call them on, but no one answers it and the mailbox is full so you cannot leave them a message. Based on the email contact, it's obvious that the only thing they want to deal with is possible loss or damage to my belongings. A transceiver I used in my airplane is missing, but of course the purchase was years ago and I no longer have a receipt to prove the ownership. I informed them that we have elected to ignore damages to our belongings. Our complaints regarding their lack of professionalism, shoddy practices and disrespect. As I noted in my first review, none of the furniture or appliances in the move were put together or assembled. We own two Sleep Number beds that were delivered but not assembled. Neither my wife nor I (both of us in our 80s) know how to put together a Sleep Number bed. All My Sons did not re-assemble any of the furniture that they moved. This required my wife and I to sleep on the floor for two days. We had to pay to have the beds assembled by professionals. I asked one of the movers to bring in some of my boxes from the truck. He accused me of not giving him respect and made a thinly veiled threat on our belongings. The movers left without completing the move. They had to come back on a second day. All of this brought our total bill to over $7000.00 for the move of a three-bedroom house, a distance of 15 miles. read more

BEWARE, this company feeds you a good line but all they do is take your money and not care. We got the insurance from them and they wouldn't even honor their insurance after gouging our washing machine which was practically brand new, still had the plastic on it, among other things. Everything was going great with the company up until the unload portion. The movers provided great customer service the whole time. But the problem came when I had to talk to John the payment collection/Remote micro manager. When i called to find out about relocation service, within the same city of Tucson, i was told its a hourly rate of $179, it will start with a $179 to cover traveling time to my house and them departing to head back to home base. Ok, sounds good. They show up with an Ipad on moving day, it wasnt working when they arrived which is nobodys fault, well probably Johns :) .. But later i found out that on the Ipad I would get the breakdown of costs and be signing something resembling a quote and probably small font verbage about the horrors to come. Movers did their thing and when it came time to unload, I had to deal with this John character who was completely Rude from the very first sentence, i was surprised and disappointed instantly. I was happy with the movers, they worked hard all day in the heat.. But within a minute on the phone with John, he ruined my impression of the entire company, that this is how they do business and what you are to them. I was provided a breakdown of costs, theres an additional almost $400 for " gas " which i figured was part of the added a hour at $179. Nope, thats just a little padding for the Johns of the company, then you have some 18 or 20% tacked on the total, if you used boxes its $20 per. Your belongings will be held hostage by John until you pay, and keep in mind that when you pay, they will unload, but there can be additional fees, time to unload. If you dont pay, and they take your stuff to their storage jail, going by others posts it looks like thats a $200 a day charge. Anyways, this John feller is completely rude, and he will talk to you like YOU work for him, he levitates above all issues an you need to pay now!!! He is so sure that the sales folks go over all the additional fees, the quotes will be accurate and that you are emailed a summary... I showed the employee that i never received an email that John claimed gave him the right to have a completely un-professional interaction with me. The company is pure trash, at least this Tucson chapter of All my Sons relocation and extortion services. What is my fault is I didnt look at reviews, judging by the overwhelming majority of negative reviews, my experience is validated. I was having a great day until this guy tried strong arming me. It wasnt about the money, it was the principle of it all. Really a shame John, I can see why a short sighted owner may want somebody like you in this position, it benefits me not by warning others, but I may save others from this unneeded BP raise. - My advice for the moving crews, move on, you deserve better. read more

This was an overall fantastic experience. Not only was the communication from the get go amazing, but the flexibility when I decided to add additional stuff to move was as well. Alfredo, Rome and Cruz were outstanding, friendly and hard working. The roads are rough where I live and damaged their tire and they had a crew out fixing the tire so quickly. I think originally what was a 2 hour move turned into more hours because I decided to add an entire storage shed worth of items to the list of things to move. You can't put a price tag on value, where the crew cares about how they pack your items so they do not get damaged, where they put your stuff exactly where you want and they are friendly while doing it. I have used several movers over the years and this company and moving crew by far exceeds every company I used before. By far the worst moving experience I've had. It was way over the price from my quote, the movers were slower than I've had in previous moves with absolutely no concern for time. One of the boys was on his phone between trips to the truck and said he was hungover. I was quoted a lower number that is why I went with this company. I was wrong to choose them. I was never told I'd be charged for tape and plastic which added $250 for what?! I never got an invoice emailed to me, I had call and ask for the invoice. When I got the invoice and emailed John the operations manager about concerns of how my furniture was left, I never got any response. They used blankets to wrap things, yet my furniture was not taken care of, everything was tossed and stacked in odd ways to "reduce trips" now I'm fearful to see what damage was done. This company has poor business ethics. All My Sons Moving was hired by my son and his girlfriend to move them less than 5 miles distance from pick up to delivery in Albuquerque, NM. AMSM want me to give them my credit card number without giving me an invoice--the movers just gave my son a verbal amount they're going to charge. Chris (the office manager) said that they will not unload the truck without payment prior to off-loading, so I asked to have his manager/owner contact me but was never contacted. It seems to me that they are taking advantage of a college student. Beware! BTW, When I asked Chris (the manager) if they were family owned or franchise, he said family owned, not true, they are a nationwide franchise, so don't expect great or even good customer service. read more

There's a reason this company is rated 1.5 stars. Today in Sonoita, Arizona, this companies truck broke down with a flat tire. So the lumper's decided while they waited for repairs to harass the local community, smoke dope in the Sonoita Mercantile Shell station's bathroom, and protest local law enforcement. The hard working employee with the cardboard sign (which read "Waste of Tax Dollars" with an arrow pointing to his right) decided to stand next to a Border Patrol Agent who's assignment keeps him in town limits for interdiction, enforcement, and 911 response. You see, Sonoita is a small town on the border. Our fastest police, fire, and EMS response comes by way of US Border Patrol Personnel. Our closest county deputy is usually 45 minutes to an hour away. Whether it's an agent responding to a break-in, domestic dispute, or car accident; an EMT Border Patrol agent responding to an emergency medical call; or (as was the case a month ago) an agent putting out a fire in an area that would have burned 6 ranches to the ground before fire fighters could have arrived, this community loves the support, sacrifices, and security USBP agents provide for them. So to see this moving company's employees disrespect our local Border Patrol, absolutely angered many. Not to mention a local business having to deal with these guys smoking meth in their business's public bathroom. Not to mention business owners of the community being harassed by these guys. If this sounds like the kind of people you want in your home, packing your belongings, and entrusted with your stuff, then this is the moving company for you! Sonoita is a small rural community, word travels far and wide here. All the employees wore green company shirts. Got initial quote after describing move size with assurance that 4 movers couldn't possibly take a whole day or cost more than $2000. $3500 dollars later, 12 hours of moving and the move still wasn't done, our old house's security door was ripped off it's hinges and the movers called it a day with moved furniture incompletely assembled throughout the new house. We took multiple trips in our personal vehicles because the movers wouldn't take another trip in their truck. The movers were fine people, very polite, but were clearly new and inexperienced. They agreed to do a full move of the house and we were left with a large portion of the move incomplete. We now have to box and move the rest ourselves. This was with us present, supervising and helping. Prior moves, movers were able to pack, move and complete the full move without any assistance from us. We didn't appreciate paying to train inexperienced movers on our dime and having to do the move ourselves anyways. Worst move we've had of many. I moved from a 1br to a 1br today. I was quoted $480-550 last week. I ended up paying $672 but will be refunded $40-60 soon because we ended a bit early. I'm okay with that price, for the time and stress it saved me. I had called twice between then and now asking for the quote to be emailed to me, since I read previous bad reviews here and on the Better Business Bureau. Both times, no one sent me anything despite taking my email and saying they would. Day of, when we were finalizing paperwork, they had my email address as "didnotprovideemail@email.com" - was not pleased with that. Unlike others, I was told about the fuel surcharge on the phone though. Jeff, Miguel, and Michael were an excellent team. They were on time, professional, communicative, speedy, and made sure to be careful with some very special furniture. Nothing was damaged or broken and the whole move went so smoothly. And they put together my bed without even needing instructions! These guys were great. The business definitely has some unsavory practices to watch out for (read reviews), but the experience I had today exceeded my expectations. read more

The good: they were responsive to my inquiry and a quote. They were to arrive between 11 to 1, they arrived at 12:15pm. They always notified me of their location and eta. They helped us move on a day of 103° weather. The guys worked continuously. The gentlemen that arrived were very professional and really tried to hide their smoking away from my sight and home, which I appreciate since my spouse is an ex-smoker. Overall, I felt confident and safe with Joey, Jagger, Miguel, and Josh. Although after reading reviews on here, after our move, I saw concerning pictures of one of those guys doing something I completely disagree with, but it's his right to express himself. The bad: They did work slower as the day went on. When you're paying by the hour, that is important to note. They packed the truck very poorly. Thus, they needed a second truck and two more guys. That took our quoted rate from $189/3 guys/26' truck to $389/5 guys/2-26' truck... we budgeted $1000 after the initial quote. Now, the final bill was $2009, twice what was quoted. When the second truck and two more guys arrived, it wasn't much help. The driver of the second truck didn't help much. The original guys were exhausted from the heat, and fresh fellows gave little relief. When we arrived at the new house only 9 miles away, they were pretty much "done" but kept working. Mind you, all boxes were packed and labeled by us. All the valuables were wrapped by us correctly. Having said that to save themselves time just about everything was just dropped into the garage then what wouldn't fit they dropped into the front living room and not in the designated label on the boxes as most humans would expect. They still broke things. The wheels on the toolbox were broken by them rolling the box down the ramp, and then at the end of the ramp, the transition to the street buckled the wheels. Packing the truck was poorly done, a wrapped television fell over, and the screen broke. Glass of picture frames were broken, of which were padded and wrapped! We did file a claim, and we will see how that goes. What this Tucson company needs to know is that their guys need to learn how to pack a truck best so that all belongings are able to fit in the truck and are safe on the road. Claims of damage will decrease a hundred fold. Mostly, I am disappointed by the inflated price after the fact, even though we were informed all along the way. Another issue I wanted to express was that these young men brought a gallon of water each, completely appropriate, I offered to put their jugs in the fridge to help. But I have them ice water throughout the day. But food? I expected they ate before they came, but they said they work through until they are done with the job. This is dangerous in this heat. I ordered two pizzas for them and one for us, and they were very thankful, and it did help revive them. My advice if you hire them, budget for twice the price, keep watch on how they pack the truck, pack your own things and label well, pad things you don't want broken and wrap well. Be present to direct where things go. Make sure they hook up what they took apart and take pictures. read more

You guys just moved me today. I had less furniture than I've ever had and it took TWICE the amount of time as my last two moves. Costing me more than double my last two moves. I was exhausted so I just stared looking through all my boxes and guess what I found???? BROKEN STUFF IN ALMOST EVERY BOX. It started with how much they appreciated our business and not to worry they have everything covered. Day of our move only 2 guys and a truck showed up and it should have been 3. They kept telling us the 3rd guy was on his way but he never showed up. During the move you could tell they were rushed and kept complaining about how many hours they had to work. More than a few times we asked them to be careful. When they were unloading in the new place they scratch and chipped numerous things but in particular our dining room set which we asked them to be extra careful with. When we noticed the damage their response was "well we're not perfect.". After he took a couple pics he said he would report it. After a couple weeks of no contact I called the local # and they gave me a corporate customer service number to call. We were offered an amount of $150 to cover the repairs. This was after I sent them the estimate of over $500. I kept getting a legal email doc to sign as a settlement for $150. The guy Joe Casarez kept sending me the same document over and over again telling me to sign it before it expires. I asked them to rethink the amount offered and even said I didn't expect the whole amount but at least something more inline with what it actually cost to fix the damages caused by the movers. This was just for the dining room set none of the other things, got no response. Tucson - I don't usually write reviews, but my experience with All My Sons was so horrible that I felt obliged to share. Unfortunately, I did not check here before hiring them. 1. Original quote was off by almost $3k! 2. Picture frames were packed haphazardly without wrapping. Several pieces of glass were broken. 3. Only about 10% of the boxes were marked, so we had no clue which room they belonged to. 4. Albums were packed horizontally with heavy items on top, and the box was placed in the garage unmarked. 5. They packed a package of their own tape, so we not only paid for extra tape, but it also took up room in a box that we also paid for. 6. Most boxes looked like they just dumped items in leaving a lot of dead space that could have been filled. 7. They moved an empty box. 8. They left a lot of stuff at our old house that we had to move. 9. They gouged a wall in our new house. If you value your belongings and your bank account, go with a different company. read more

Do not use this company. All my Son's moving really let us down. They quoted $1200. Showed up an hour late in a rented truck. on a Saturday. They wrapped the two heaviest pieces with drawers full (instead of removing the contents with the drawers - making it much lighter - they took 45 minutes to get the first piece down the stairs). They asked for a blade because they didn't show up with any cutting tools. Then they asked for a flat head screwdriver because they didn't understand how to use an Allen wrench (they damaged the bed, using the screwdriver to pry screws which they claimed were stripped). They weren't stripped. They had multiple emotional episodes in front of us & our kids. One guy threatened to quit and the boss was constantly emasculating his helpers. We fed them pizza. They weren't prepared for the task, no food. Took them an hour and a half to drive to OV. Then we had to help them unload the truck. The lead guy commented on how we were working twice as hard as both of his guys. Then we told them where to put the last piece. It is a 8'x5' framed map. It was in the truck in front of my house. They took it. They also took a professional grade Kitchenmade mixer. They won't replace it. Then the back breaker was being told we would be contacted by a manager. Nothing. No call. No contact. All My Lies A better name for this dishonest organization whose business model appears to be based upon broken promises, lies, and shameless deception would be "All My Lies". We very recently called All My Lies on a Friday and spoke with a fellow named "Tom". We are downsizing and needed to move some household goods containing the equivalent of a one-bedroom home to our condo, a distance of three and one-half miles. After discussing the items we needed moved, Tom gave us a verbal quote of $169.00 per hour for "three professional movers", plus one additional hour to cover their cost for a "clean and sanitized moving truck", travel time to our home, fuel, mileage, and all necessary equipment and tools to get our belongings to our downsizing condo safely and efficiently. Tom assured us there would be no extras and no surprises. Upon our agreement of the estimated cost, Tom requested, and I paid, a $100.00 Deposit to secure our agreement. On Saturday, I received a voicemail message from "Dave" at All My Lies asking me to call him back so we could confirm the particulars of our move. I called Dave back on Sunday and we talked about the date, time, and addresses associated with our move. Then Dave asked about the estimated cost that was quoted by Tom. I told Dave exactly that which Tom quoted. Dave then told me there would be a 15% "industry standard surcharge" added to the total bill for the truck fuel. I told Dave that Tom said the truck fuel was included in the one additional hour outside the hourly rate and there would be no extras and no surprises. Dave said he was sorry I "misunderstood" Tom, but the 15% fuel charge was an industry standard and it would apply. When I further challenged Dave's 15% upcharge, he told me it didn't matter what Tom told me, HE was telling me there would be an additional 15% surcharge for fuel. Mind you, the distance we were moving was three and one-half miles...... I said Tom and I had an agreement and I was not going to pay an additional last minute upcharge. Dave said, "Fine, (he) will cancel the move and refund the deposit". Dave cancelled our scheduled move that was CONFIRMED with a cash Deposit, less than 24 hours prior to the move. As the reader would probably guess, to date, the promised Deposit Refund has not been submitted to my credit card account. Most credit card companies hold a very dim view of these so-called "service organizations" that take a predatory approach to their revenue seeking activities. My credit card company is no exception and I am quite confident my credit card company will take the appropriate action necessary to recover the unearned "$100.00 Deposit". In the unlikely event that does not happen, All My Lies and I will be headed to Small Claims Court. Based upon my personal experience, the folks at All My Lies have proven themselves to be shameless liars. How do companies that employ FRAUD as their business model stay in business? Are there that many consumers out there who are so easily bullied by such overt strong-arm tactics? Is the All My Lies' organization so pathetically lacking in their honesty and credibility that they need to outright lie to their customers in order to achieve that which they consider to be acceptable profitability? All My Lies should be ashamed. I would caution and advise everyone who reads this review to avoid All My Sons Moving and Storage. Do not be fooled by the selective reviews they post on their own website. Check-out the over 100 Reviews posted by actual consumers on YELP. All My Sons (Lies) has earned a pathetically low 1.5 out of a possible 5-Star Rating on YELP. Consumer confidence and satisfaction in this organization is shamefully low. In all honesty, I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone. I have nothing but negative feedback and am very disheartened by every experience I had with them. I was quoted 500$ for my 1BR move and ended up paying 1000$.. for an apartment of a single individual.. For transparency so others are aware before they run into the same nightmare and go with these people, they charge 18% for gas for their truck and for mileage! I asked multiple people repeatedly about the costs and was never told about mileage which ended up being 260$ for my 26 mile move even though I was told that an hour and a half of travel time was covered and not to worry about it. It was not. When I questioned it at payment, I was simple told "no" that it's not covered. Quite the response, just "no". Rude much? I was told gas would be around 100$, it ended up being 160$. They also charge 50$ for the wrap that they use and 5$ for tape which I was aware of but only because I specifically asked. On top of that, I asked that only 3 pieces in my apartment be padded and wrapped to prevent damage on their arrival, not a single piece was and every single one was damaged in the move. My dad also witnessed them throw my 2500$ mattress over the third floor balcony which ended up covered in mud after the very intense protective bag I purchased from uhaul was ripped in the drop. Ridiculous. Absolute disrespect for someone else's property and should not be acceptable in any way. My 3000$ couch was also ripped and my 800$ bed frame was scraped up on the ground from them dragging it or hitting the stairs, who knows. On top of all of that, communicating with them is literally the most difficult thing in the world which I suspect is their strategy, wait until it's too close for people to back out and then blindside them because they no longer have any other options. When I first booked, which was not free, it cost me 100$ and was done a full month+ in advance, I was texted by multiple numbers, called by multiple people for days but was never responded to when I asked for a summary breakdown of the costs. I provided my email as requested for them to send it and then followed up 3 times over the course of a month with no response. Waste of time and stress. If texts are not going to be responded to, they should not be sent by their team. Fast forward to two days before my move, I missed the call from their office and ended up spending my entire night panicked and trying to get through to them with no response. I set on hold waiting for the man that called me for 30 minutes before I hung up, making an already stressful experience even more unnecessarily stressful. I managed to get through to them the morning before my move and was FINALLY given the "6 hour window". The movers then showed up at my location without any notice so it's a good thing that I decided not to leave in the 6 hours that they gave me. No one needs to eat right? Just sit staring at your walls for 6 hours while you wait. Everything is also done on a timed basis, which I find hilarious because they do not respect that timer. I intentionally drove in front of the moving truck to my new place, full of all of my belongings, on the clock and watched them leave me and pull into a gas station. It showed up finally at my new location 30 minutes after I made it, which I'm sure I paid for. No one I talked to verbally was pleasant which just made everything else so much worse. I hired this company to move me across town- a two bedroom apartment, into a mobile home across town. I spoke with Jason in the Tucson location. Window was 11-2, settling on between $6-8 hundred for move (I could not afford any higher, so we moved what we could and left big stuff). These guys showed up at 6 pm. Tired af, from a whole day of work. We reluctantly agreed that they'd do half tonight, complete move tomorrow. At 8 pm, main mover told me boss wants payment tonight. At 8 pm (two hours of work, nothing on truck...I paid $100 down, had another $100 In discount for 4 HOUR DELAY. Boss wanted $690. (Less $200 for down and discount...sooooo $890. For services rendered so far. Also: "you should know that this is for tonight. Tomorrow starts a new bill...WTF. I got boss on the phone and, right out the gate- "we don't HAVE to fill anyone's timeline- also I quoted you $1200.- no one moves across town for $600."...I told Jason that they were fired, had enough at this point. Jason screamed like a banshee until I hung up on her. I instantly received two texts from Jason... I was later told this guy is...NOT a fan of women in general - AND IT SHOWED. Our furniture was damaged. Pictures weren't wrapped just stacked in a box without padding. Clothes were tossed in a wardrobe box, not hung and then a printer and books were thrown in for good measure. The attitude of the manager and movers was Lazy and rude. The estimate was off by 100%. It took 2 truck loads with the associated hours and delays. NEVER consider this company. We tried to work to get a reasonable refund and we're told if we were worried about damage we should have paid for insurance. Isn't the expectation that things won't damaged? Unbelievable. Called to schedule moving for Sunday on a Saturday. Knowing it was last minute, we weren't necessarily expecting it to be available. Spoke with someone who said, "oh there was actually a cancellation for tomorrow so we can get you scheduled!" Told us someone would call us to let us know the estimated time. After not hearing from anyone that day and calling mutiple times, turned out the local office was already closed and we were told we would find out about timing the next day (moving day). We got a call early AM and were asked if we were told a time. I said no and that we were waiting on that info. He seemed shocked that it even go booked and said that there were movers doing another job in the morning but we would be put on afterward and we would get a call 11:00AM-2:00PM to give us a more exact time. After repeatedly asking if they would be able to do this and wouldn't cancel last minute, we were reassured that they always get to their jobs. At about 1:00PM, I called to see if there was an estimated time and was told that the other job was estimated to end at 1:30. 2:00PM rolls by and still no call from the movers so I called again and was told that the first customers "added a bedroom" and "added a stop" and that it wouldn't be until at least 5:00PM before they finish. Not sure how they suddenly added a bedroom and how that wasn't known as soon as the movers arrived at the house. I kept trying to call to get updates but the office kept saying they couldn't reach the movers "which is a good thing because it means they are working hard and moving the first house. Or driving. You wouldn't want them to answer calls while they were working on moving your home, right??" I then get a call at about 4:00PM from someone saying "You probably know where this call is going... but I don't work at the local office, I work remotely (AKA it's not MY fault)" and tells me that the job is CANCELLED. They won't finish at the other house until at least 8:00PM and the other driver they've been trying to reach "to be honest hasn't been answering his phone today and we're not sure why." When I said "you've got to be kidding," he responds with "there is no reason to be rude mam, you booked last minute. How would you like to proceed now?" I said, "I'm not the one being rude! I would never have booked last minute if I knew the job couldn't be done but I was told there was a cancellation and that it could be scheduled." I would have proceeded with other options and never have scheduled and relied on this and wouldn't have spent all weekend packing up our entire house, leaving us in a bind with most of our things in boxes or already at the new house and having to work tomorrow. Absolutely unbelievable. Asked for deposit to be refunded, which better actually be refunded. Just sad that companies get away with this. No need to schedule if you can't get it done. And then to try to blame the customer for booking last minute... Again, never would have booked if you said... hey it may or may not be possible because it's an add-on. No, we were told there was a cancellation, so great, let's do it! Such poor management. read more
