This is my favorite Ralphs grocery store. I stop here on my way home from work, instead of going to the one by my house. I stop by at least twice a week. Wonderful produce - a good selection of regular produce, and "container packed ready to eat" produce. Good salad bar. Lots of sushi to go. A variety of fresh bulk olives ! A super nice floral and plant area - I got two of my bosses plants from their flower dept. The employee there helped me select a balloon to go with it, he was very helpful. All of the employees are super nice, and very helpful. Here is one tip - don't deal with the parking lot. Go down the ramp to the lower level parking area. Take the elevator up. You will save yourself alot of time if you just park below. There is tons of parking underneath on the lower level, and the elevators are huge so shopping carts fit. read more

I ordered from them to be delivered and they charged me $42 more than they said. When I called they said their prices went up from the time I ordered (5 mins prior) and they wouldn't honor them. All I can say is BEWARE of them and instacart. They double dipped and I will never use instacart again. read more

I used to go to this Ralph's several times a week and enjoyed the shopping experience. The self check out they're trying to force on everyone is really frustrating, though. I'm going to the new whole foods which is further away, but I don't have to work at checking out and bagging my groceries in order to give them my money. They have a much better seafood selection, anyway. read more

This is my neighborhood Ralphs. It's open 24/7 unless the hours change of which they'll usually post a sign to notify everyone for days beforehand. I like the convenience that it's only a mile and a half away from where I live, plus it's open all night. I think once my husband and I came here at midnight because I wanted donuts or something. Anyhoo, it's smack dab in the middle of a plaza so there are constantly cars coming in and out of the ground parking lot to go to the other businesses or to shop at Ralphs. It can get very frustrating because a good percentage of people don't know how to drive on the right side of the aisles of the parking lot, so you'll see three cars backed up because someone's waiting on a spot, and another car next to them might be 'lurking' for another spot. Frustrating! Plus the drivers here are rude as hell because I've had one or two beep at me or get too close when I'm just crossing. Yes I know it's annoying, and people cross in front of me all the time, but I don't beep at them! That's partly why I marked a star off. The other star I took off is because this store has been going through renovations since I first started coming here. There are always blocked off aisles either filled with product that the workers have yet to put away or someone with machinery so they can do renovations, like with the flooring or ceiling. Kinda annoying. Also, I don't like how everything is so fastpaced and tense here, like everyone's in a rush. Can't really be changed because this is LA after all, but it makes the environment feel so rushed. I do like that they have basement style parking under ground parking for Ralphs customers, and you can take an elevator to go up to Ralphs. Those elevators are disgusting though, so they definitely need to work on them. Overall, this Ralphs suffices in helping me get the groceries I need. Not enough items on sale, and the products here aren't as good value as at Trader Joes, but they do have larger variety of different things to buy. One note: If you want beer, unless you're buying multiple six packs, just go to Trader Joes, only two miles away, in Studio City. There's alot more variety and cheaper as well! read more

This store has some serious sanitation issues. !! I have gotten sick from their deli food twice, and from the sushi twice. I will never ever buy sushi from this place again! I thought it might have been a bad piece of fish, but I bought the steamed dumplings last night and got horribly sick once again. I also got sick from deli meat (boars head roast beef and turkey) and packaged chicken. I think that whole section is just unsanitary, it has happened too often. By law they are supposed to clean the machines every four hours and believe me they do not even wipe them down between helping customers. I have seen employees with runny noses coughing etc. and they are handling the meat and deli food. It is disgusting! You are taking a chance with your health by getting anything from that section. once or twice could be a coincidence, or just bad luck, but it is no coincidence when you get sick four times in a year ..I am otherwise a very healthy person with no medical issues. I have been shopping at this Ralph's since they opened, so I know things have changed. all of this has happened in the last year. The store also has rats I have seen them in the parking lot and around the back.. Buyers beware you have been warned. I know I cannot be the only one. read more

As this Ralph's is the closest to my house, I am constantly here. It wasn't until recently that I realized the awesome-ness this location is. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The stock is great (although they don't carry a great zester/grater, but that doesn't really matter). I am greeted with smiles and polite conversation every time I come here. It is just nicer all around. The clientele here is even better.. Granted, it's Studio City, but it's nice to be surrounded by above average looking people. Even if their sole purpose for moving to LA is to be discovered and end up on some reality/dating show. If you're in the area, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. read more

Wow!!! Ralph's you have redeemed yourself. Before coming here I thought all Ralph's were dirty, dingy leftovers of 70's grocery stores in dire need of remodel and revamping. I stopped in here to pick up a few items for my friend who I was visiting. The doors opened up and the angles began to sing. I had to step outside to re-read the sign on top of the store. Yep, it still says Ralph's. What a difference from my local Ralph's in SD. It's big, it's beautiful, it's well stocked, with lots of variety. If I lived in L.A., I would make special trips just to shop here. Well done Ralph's, now can you do something about the one in Clairemont, please? read more

I'm taking a couple of stars off at this Ralphs because of the self check out. I go to this grocery store just about every day and whenever I go to the self check out there is ALWAYS a problem. I'll start scanning something and out of nowhere the machine will say, "An attendant is going to assist you" and I look around for an attendant and they are NEVER there. I can't continue to check out until the "attendant is going to assist you message is cleared." Sometimes I'll wait about 5 minutes before someone walks over and helps other times I have to literally leave my checkout lane and go search for someone. Either fix your self check out machines so they don't give you error messages when you haven't done anything wrong or make sure there is always an attendant there to assist. Ralphs is starting to work my nerves. read more

I don't know what I hate the most?!? The fact that everything is so organized or the staff is so friendly? I hate the fact that all their meats and seafood are always so fresh! Love this location. Plenty of parking-- the above ground parking does tend to get crowded, as it shares a lot with Baskin Robbins, Planet Beauty, Starbucks, Rite Aid, etc. But Ralph's does include sub-terrain parking which is never packed. Just take the elevator ride up, and you will land right inside the store. Quite convenient. Great service here, great layout, clean, fresh produce, etc. read more

Walking in, it's like the sky opened up and said "behold a grocery store of heavenly dreams" (and hot people). I ended up over here for 2 interviews that week. One for an animation studio & another for a music school. I was killing a bit of time and wanted a nibble. Why don't they have places like this over here? It was like an oasis. The prepared food there is restaurant quality. I got a big cup of soup. It made me miss my days waitressing and getting homemade soups all of the time. I may have to bust out the pots and pans & make some of mom's homemade soup. Besides it could potentially kill that little tickle of a cough I seem to have these days. In other news, exiting this Ralphs and going to the Starbucks in the same plaza will also net you equally hot if not hotter patrons. I love the new cheese selection!! Sometimes going here at lunch it can be tough to find a parking stop with all the other businesses equally as busy but in the morning there are more choices. There is a pretty decent sushi selection in to go packages and a fair amount made with brown rice. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. They offer curbside pickup, which is very convenient and appreciated during the pandemic, however, they always screw it up. If you check no substitutes, all you get is substitutes, if you check a specific delivery time, your order won't be ready. The employees seem to be very nice but the entire operation does not work. I didn't know until I got home, that my order was screwed up, I called the store, and was directed to the Kroger 1-800- number and waited about 10 minutes before I was told that they couldn't refund me any money and I had to go into the store to get a refund, defeating the whole point of curbside pickup. If I wanted to go into your store, I wouldn't have used curbside. I am looking at other grocery stores who offer curbside pickup. It's a wonderful service but only if it works and at this particular location, it does not. read more

Evaluated on handicapped friendliness: 7 weeks post-op on crutches and in a brace. Few if anyone to help me with life's necessities, so I go it alone. And after maybe 10-12 visits here, a whopping 3 or 4 employees have been friendly and helpful versus the 90 or so I have had encounters with. (Encounters = being a few feet away while I'm struggling to reach for something up high or hold something heavy or reach into a freezer case or push my hand basket with my crutch down several aisles toward the checkout.) I even commented to the old pregnant male manager who once (out of several times seeing me) actually asked if I wanted him to carry my hand basket to the register (it was 5 feet away): "Oh, it's nice to have an employee here actually acknowledge an injured person and offer to help. I've been coming for weeks and usually see them just keep walking." His reply: "You should use a cart." (Yeah, 'cause crutches AND a cart are really easy to use.) read more

Listen, if it wasn't for the parking situation this Ralphs would easily be a 4 star situation. Hell, adding Murray's cheeses alone is worth 4 stars, best thing Ralphs has ever done. Now if only they could get a good sandwich deli going... Anyways who the hell designed this parking lot? Was it a high school final project? Good lord it is horrible. Never enough spaces, and worst thing is they have these giant, and I mean giant potted trees in the middle of the only walkways. What. The. Hell. It is to bad that a store can not be charged with elder abuse. I had a pick up order scheduled to supply 3 senior citizens with food for Passover. 1 hour before pick up was called and curtly told the order was cancelled. When asked if I could rescheduled, was told I had to call corporate. After much time on hold was told by corporate that they could not get the store to answer so they would call us back within a day. Not a word since. Not a good first night for the elders and Ralph's has lost a customer and I expect several other families. At a time like this a little compassion would have been nice. read more

This is a very nice Ralphs... It's near my church so I sometimes stop by if I'm early to pick up things and am always pleased with the cleanliness and level of service in this store. I LOVE my Ralph's! It's one of the bigger locations, so I dig that I can stroll in here night or day and it never feels crowded. They even have a juice and a nuts bar now- which is great. It's super clean, the crowds are great and I never leave without one of their Sushi to go. Most affordable place we found for our basic cat food, coffee, water and soy milk needs. They have great deals on drum sticks, plus we're constantly saving a lot on their coupons mailed to us. I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 7 years now and it doesn't come as a surprise that most people that work there, have been there the whole time. They're sweet as pie too. Also love it that they have handicapped employees that are such a joy to watch! It really feels like a warm place overall and gives me a nice neighborhood feel. Shopping and knowing the management is open-minded and clearly great? PERFECT. read more

This super market is literally right around the corner from my house. This is the only reason I come here. I prefer Vons when it comes to super markets because they usually have plenty of friendly staff working to help you checkout faster. Ralph's is obviously losing money so they cut corners with the number of employees they have working per shift. Unless you walk in at some strange hour during the day you are going to lose a few year waiting in line. It is also astonishing that their baggers are so ignorant and brainless that they don't understand that fragile items like eggs should not be put in the same bag as cleaning detergent!!!! First of all, everyone knows you don't put food and cleaning products together! Dumbasses! Another thing that bothers me about Ralph's is that they advertise like they are giving you the best (lowest) price when in fact they are probably (most of the time) more expensive than their competitors. The produce section in this store PISSES ME OFF!!!! Go to Mexican markets for the freshest fruit and veggies and also get them for a fraction of the cost. "Prime Time 1+1 1+1" - My only qualm about this place is that the whole time you are in there, you have to listen to some jackass manager over the PA telling his minions that it is "prime time", meaning it is time to begin giving fake greetings to customers and asking if they need help finding anything...pretending like you care. Announce that in a staff meeting or over walkie talkies, we don't all need to hear your corny motivation credo. We certainly do not need to hear it repeated back by employees throughout the store 20 f**ckin times! "prime whack"! Another thing I hate is how they lock one door at night. Park underneath and avoid the parking lot "stalking" upstairs - really? There's at least 500 open spaces underground and maybe one at ground level. The staff here are unrelentingly fabulous - the checkers are happy and friendly, the baggers are cheerful, the random staffers you meet wandering the aisles will pretty much shop the store for you and I want to marry the lady in the seafood/meat section for just how cheerfully she weighs me 1/2 lb of live mussels. They get 1 star deducted because they don't carry dried buttermilk powder. Random, I know, but it's important to me. I got the fattest, tastiest lemon grass I've ever seen today though. I live within walking distance and this is the only place (in my neighborhood) where I get groceries. There's always price cuts and good deals on great things. Their meat selection is top of the class, and their fish and poultry as equally as good. I love to cook, so quality meats are at the top of my list, and this Ralph's has the best. Their produce is VERY FRESH and constantly watered and always fully stocked. I haven't had anything from their Deli because I cook so much, but their deli seems to be busy every time I'm there so they must be doing something right! The staff is professional and fast, helping fill your every need. I like this Ralph's and will continue to shop there. I ALWAYS park underground as it is usually less crowded and much easier to get in and out in a timely manner. Up top is a complete nightmare filled with boogie men. read more

Best looking and best deals on produce and fruits. Oranges are usually 99 cents a lb. They always have specials on fruit. The white corn has been awesome there. It is very clean and very well stocked. It is also not expensive. I go out of my way to shop there. I always park underground. Always parking; quick elevator up and your car stays cool. This Ralphs is amazing. There's always PLENTY of parking, a great selection of items, and decent produce. My one complaint is that the lines sometimes get long and it takes forever to check out. Anyone who is going to complain about parking here needs to learn to just park underground if you can't find parking on top. I haven't had a problem since I learned about the underground parking lot. It is truly a savior when it comes to parking in this entire shopping center. read more

This store sucks. Sanitization??? Friendly service??? Customer Service??? What are those??? I can't go there anymore, even though its the closest for me, this store is just not worth my business. Carts not sanitized (ie I went to get one today, the guy was pushing the carts into the storage area for customers to use. I asked if they sanitize them, he said no, you do it your self, the wipes are inside. I couldn't see them. I asked a staff member, they pointed out where they were, but the dispenser was broken so he had to open it up. He thought the guy outside wiped them down.) Are cashiers wiping down the areas and pin card machines? Nope. What a difference between here and Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Homeless outside in front of this store in the plaza area, people begging in the parking lot. Does Ralphs or plaza management do anything about it? Apparently not. Not. Going. Back. Ever. read more

Not bad, just nothing exceptional except maybe the parking situation and the hours. It's also very clean.
