Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to have such exceptional choice of healthy foods in such abundance . I always shop at this Trader Joe's since I moved to the area 5 years ago. Love TJ prices. You can't beat it. It's always a good value. I kinda love that the items at TJ are limited because I feel like I know their stock and layout as if I'm an employee there. All products are familiar. And they always have some seasonal items that always make me cry when I stop seeing those at the store. Still grieving amaretti cookies and pistachio cranberry thins Spanakopita pie and spicy mexican-style riced cauliflower are my personal favorite "always in the fridge" kinda items. I freak out when I ran out I also recently fell in love with their pie crust. That's what you see on the picture. Staff mostly seem very nice and ready to help. My favorite Trader Joe's Located on Riverside, parking behind Trader Joe's sometimes it hard to find. This is a smaller store but has one of the best staff group. Always positive and happy to help. Shopping here is so much fun. Trader Joe's are known to have some creative items, some made viral due to word of mouth. Currently there is a viral thing for the Tote Bags. This location has been good about distributing them and has it under control. read more

I've only visited this store a few times, but each experience has been pleasant. The employees are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One unique feature is that part of the frozen food section is located behind closed doors, which I found interesting. It's a smaller store, so the selection may be more limited. It's not an overly big store but it does pack a lot into it. We only pop into this location when we come for brunch next door. The parking situation of course like a lot of TJ is ok. Depending on the store. This has a small lot out back but there's also street parking on the main strip as well as residential. Just read the sign depending on what residential street you park at. It's on a corner lot so it does get pretty busy both with shoppers and walkers. Right before you walk in you're greeted with all the plants and florals. Their selection is alway quite nice. Then you have the orchids right by the door. To the right is where the produce starts. It's not a big store so the register area is alway pretty tight if everyone is ready to check out at the same time. And it's right when you walk in. Isles is somewhat tight as well. Where the frozen food section which is right in the middle of the store is pretty decent. Just like all the other stores, you pretty much have the same things as the others. Also, the layout is pretty much similar given some isles are reverse. But some of the bigger stores do have a whole section that caters to alcohol. Regardless, you'll find what you need here. If you can't find parking out back, street parking maybe your best bet. Staff are always so friendly as they tend to be at all the locations. Not my local location but whenever I'm in the area. I swung by here while passing through from Glendale to the valley trying to stall a little bit of traffic. The experience was great and the parking situation which I sometimes feel compact felt a little bit more spaced out at this location. The biggest thing I remember is that the customer service was top notch. I needed help reaching for something and there are tons of extremely helpful Trader Joes staff member who are willing to help, answer questions, and help you find your item. They always say I won't remember what you did but I'll remember how you made me feel and this Trader Joes made me feel welcomed and helped especially in helping me find my way since I didn't know my way around here as well. read more

This is my Toluca Lake community staple TJs that I've been going to for years. Located right on riverside off Foreman, it's a super convenient location. I often like to walk there with a small bag and pick up groceries. Get my steps in. Pros: It's TJs and any smart TJ shopper knows you can get some great unique stuff there at a cheaper price. In fact I would say I use it for like 85% of my groceries. Their frozen stuff and dry goods are unique and better. Than any bigger chain. I do a high protein diet and if you do some research they have a lot of healthy options too. I highly recommend the Greek yogurt guac. Carb savvy tortillas, and protein pancakes (if you can find them!). They have lovely flowers for sale out front often. Make someone's life a little better :) The staff is generally friendly here. Parking. Yes. I am putting it in the PRO category. Everyone knows TJ parking is like the 7th level of hell. And while this parking lot is crowded. It somehow... works. I've never been left needing a spot. And it has a smart in and out flow with a back alley. Way better than the studio city alternative. Cons: It gets busy! Sometimes going in there I feel like I'm playing a human game of frogger with other people. But then on the flip side given its location everyone is an influencer so the people watching is kinda funny. I ran into Henry Rollins there once! This one's smaller than some other TJs I've been to. This makes it more cramped in general. But I r also noticed they often are missing a few items here and there. Often missing zoodles, protein pancakes, flank steak, spice blends. Weird stuff like that. All and all. I love living here and one of the reasons is TJs. I've lived out of country for long periods of time and I actually miss our unique grocery options we have. So don't take it for granted. Enjoy the insane crowds. And stick up on soup dumplings! read more

This location was crowded like any other Trader Joe's locations. It is smaller in compare to other locations I have been to. They had a variety of products and were well stocked. They had the most beautiful flowers and plants I have ever seen. They had a lot of flowers and in different colors. Employees were nice too and they were helping the customers to avoid having long lines. Cashier was really nice and very professional. The only downside was that it is too crowded. P.S there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around. It is perfect to grad a coffee or something to eat before/after shopping trip. read more

Came in at 9:30 am to get the new tote bag release and as I'm in line one of the crew member name Chris comes out and tells the people who didn't have tickets that they're sold out but had still had bags in the bins. I asked why won't they sell them and he said stuttering that they're are sold to other customers already, yet the way they were doing it was giving tickets to all customers who had to purchase them. I then asked again what they were doing with it as he was walking towards the back and just kept saying they're sold. I felt he was holding them for himself or other employees. read more

This is a great location of TJ's. Even though the parking lot is kind of small, as well as the store itself, both feel spacious and open. There's another TJ'S nearby on Alameda, and that one is soooo chaotic. The parking lot is like an accident zone, and the store is not very pleasant. Why? Why do I continue to return to this store despite the overcrowded ocean of people, the terrorizing sardine can like parking lot , and the not so low prices? It is because the products themselves are very, very delicious & fresh. They specialize in organic, flavorful, high-quality foods. The employees are hired based on personality so they are pretty outgoing and friendly. Ambience wise it is chaotic & is guaranteed to induce an anxiety attack. I recommend their teriyaki noodle bowls to go, the garlic cheese, the almond danish kringle pastry, the peanut butter Blondies, the fresh baked bread and the organic cotton candy Grapes are all a must. I hardly go to this Trader Joe's because it is not close to my house. I only go there whenever I happen to be in the area and have some business to take care of. Well, yesterday I was there around 7:30pm and had some shopping to do. I found everything that I needed and even some new items that captured my attention and I wanted to try them: so I bought them. Every Trader Joe's that I have visited, they have the best, outstanding, professional, nice, kind and helpful employees and management. Shout out to all of them! No matter how busy they are, they will drop what they are doing, and willingly come and help you with a nice smile. I ran into Luz, Sophia and Conrad was my cashier. Very polite, nice, and kind. This store comparing to other TJ's is a bit smaller and hard to move around especially when you have a shopping cart full of food/products. Parking lot is not too bad and they have everything from A to Z. Nice ambiance, great music playing which makes your shopping experience fast, quick and easy. Beware when shopping here...got my wallet stolen out of my bag. When I told the store manager he didn't seem too surprised or concerned and said it's been happening more often. Also said there was nothing they could do because they don't have cameras in store but I could file a police report. Told me he would alert the staff and that was about it. I know things like this can happen anywhere but his "oh well" attitude was very disappointing. read more

There is parking in the back. Some plants and shopping carts are outside on the street. The layout of the store is decent. They typically have a good stock of their items. What's cool and different about this location is they have their usual freezers and also the freezers with doors (like a regular market). read more

I've always loved Trader Joe's! Since I moved back to Burbank, I've been coming to this specific location on a weekly basis. It rounds out our weekly grocery shopping with all the extras and snacks you can't get anywhere else. I'm not posting any pictures of any of the products I usually buy, but they always have really pretty flowers outside of the store, so I took some pictures of those. My minor complaints are that it is a smaller store and gets crowded. They often sell out of some things, too. Workers are very friendly, though, and always willing to help you find a product or reach something in the back of the freezer top shelf for you. See you on Friday, TJ!!! read more

Tried this one for the first time recently since why not, and it was a good one! Even though parking is provided at Trader Joe's, their lots can be pretty tricky depending on the location and while this one was in the back, it wasn't a difficult lot to maneuver through. It was a very brief walk to the front doors. Crowded as expected, it took me a moment to figure out the layout but I was able to find everything I needed and then some. Check out was a breeze, and I was on my way. I only wish TJ's would offer self-checkout options, but all of the cashiers have been nothing but friendly. We had dinner relatively nearby so we were walking around and saw this Trader Joe's and figured this would be a good spot to pick up some more water since the place we were staying at only gave us a couple of bottles of water and we are water drinking people! We also picked up some pre cut fruit and snacks for some breakfast. Like many have already said, it's small and a little packed and a little busy. I did feel a little judged when I used the produce bag as our "bag" to pack our stuff home but we really didn't want to get another paper bag. *sigh* It's ok. There was an interesting altercation at the front with a couple of customers which I was glad didn't blow up into a huge fight. I've never seem something like this in a Trader Joe's but hey, there's always a first time for everything. Unfortunately none of the workers stepped in, but I guess if it did start to escalate, someone would've done so. There is parking in the back, but we didn't use it as we were Uber-ing as well as walking. There was a table on the side soliciting folks which tends to happen at Trader Joe's. It happens at our Trader Joe's too. Still not a bad option for quick groceries if you're having dinner in the area. It is a busy street, but not too bad. It is a small Trader Joe's but I don't think they were missing anything that I would've expected in a Trader Joe's. It was easy to check out and just convenient for us at the time. read more

I was in there a couple weeks agoband couldn't find something so I went up to the manager's desk. There were 4 employees/mgrs talking nonsense amongst other! I was standing there waiting for someone to ask if I needed help? (as I was staring right at them) an African-American employee looked right at me and kept walking by, rude! I just turned around abruptly and walked away, and then a Mgr. had seen that and asked if I needed help? I said forget it now! I got in line and left! I used to love this store, but seems like the managers are just rude norms! Hopefully upper management will see this and have a talk meeting! Also, there's always solicitors & auditors outside! I only go here for a couple things now you don't have to deal with this at Whole Foods and the parking is way better! read more

This is my TJ's! Pleasant crew and always a good shopping experience. I like the smaller size but it seems to have plenty of good stuff in stock. The parking somehow works mostly. I miss the free samples which they had before covid, but I understand. I buy way too much cheese here. Nice selection at good prices. It appears to be clean. i've genuinely never had a more rude experience with a cashier as i did today here, on sunday 5/17/26. she not only acted like i was inconveniencing her, but embarrassed me in front of several other people when my card was flagged for fraud on my end, causing the charge not to go through and had to be run a 2nd time. completely turned me off from this location, i won't be returning. read more

I usually receive good customer service at this location but my experience today was bizarre. As I was checking out, I watched the cashier greet the customer ahead of me and proceed to chat with her as he wrung up items. When it was my turn, there was a noticeable change in his demeanor. No greeting. I told him I brought my own bags but he proceeds to open two TJ bags anyway (while scanning the area). He then walks over to say something to another employee. He then makes his way back to the register. After wringing up my items, he waits until my card is approved before bagging my items (yes, he was looking at the screen). He then places my receipt in the bag and says nothing. Didn't ask if I preferred to hold the receipt and no niceties. There was a marked difference in the level of customer service from the prior guest. I'm not sure what was going on but I know it wasn't appropriate. It appears management needs to offer more courses on customer service. read more

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's?! I love their variety and it's always fun to discover their "New Items." Entering a Trader Joe's is like visiting Disneyland...everyone is always happy, and not fake happy, genuinely happy! Parking sometimes can be a challenge no matter which one you frequent, but overall it's never a miss. P.S. Only downside of Trader Joe's is that sometimes they discontinue items they never should. i.e. PLEASE bring back the Salt & Vinegar chips! You know, the yellow bag?! Every time I come here there's solicitors and beggars by the entrance, despite a No Loitering or Soliciting sign. I've gone as far as asking management to ask them to leave with no action. Hard to recommend a place where customers are knowingly scammed by fake charities and other beggars and management does nothing. The parking lot also is tight and entitled customers go in the wrong way. I'd skip and go to the one on Alameda before coming here. read more

The girl with the blue hair that works check out is so iconic and amazing. She is a Queen but I never got her name. I was on the phone saying to my therapist "IDK if I should buy the Cibatta rolls because i'm on a skinny legend diet." The blue hair girl came over to me while she was restocking shelfs and said "Mhmmmmmmmmm you do" and I was like "Okayyy purrr". Then we had a convo for about 10 min about what I can make with these rolls. She is an iconic chef and let me tell you I made the best pizza with them like she told me. Good thing I have learned to check my receipt. I have been overcharged at least four or five times from this Trader Joe's store.

Forget the awful parking lot (a signature of most Trader Joe's locations across the universe) the inside of this TJ is small, condensed and feels slightly congested as well... I find myself in the area once a while usually at Forman's Tavern across the street however often only after I make decisions to purchase way too much food and ride share it home. Recently I wasn't able to find quite a bit of staple items here maybe because they don't carry them or because they had to move them in order to make space for high ticket items. The maze that is the Toluca Lake location seems to work with whatever works best in terms of stocking and not in terms of the customer experience. I do enjoy the area, the TJ staff and maneuvering around easily when there are virtual no other customers in the store, but when someone turns a corner you're heading for... prepare for collision. Overall not the it could be worst, just proceed with caution. read more

Smallest parking lot ever!!!!! It's a hassle to get in and out of this lot. I love Trader Joe's and I shop at this location occasionally when I work close by. It's a small store always packed.
