I swung by here while passing through from Glendale to the valley trying to stall a little bit of traffic. The experience was great and the parking situation which I sometimes feel compact felt a little bit more spaced out at this location. The biggest thing I remember is that the customer service was top notch. I needed help reaching for something and there are tons of extremely helpful Trader Joes staff member who are willing to help, answer questions, and help you find your item. They always say I won't remember what you did but I'll remember how you made me feel and this Trader Joes made me feel welcomed and helped especially in helping me find my way since I didn't know my way around here as well.

The Service: Staffs are working efficiently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Busy location because on Riverside Dr where many restaurants nearby.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Products: I am trying the Portuguese egg tart. It's already pre-baked so only need to put in air fryer for about 10 minutes. Flakey outside and creamy inside. Will definitely buy again. Trying different flavor of mochi ice cream, vanilla flavor. So so..... blood orange flavor still the best!! The Parking: Private parking lot.

Lauren was great and patient while adding a few items during check-out. This is a convenient location and if you park a few blocks away, it's much easier to depart.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This location was crowded like any other Trader Joe's locations. It is smaller in compare to other locations I have been to[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They had a variety of products and were well stocked. They had the most beautiful flowers and plants I have ever seen. They had a lot of flowers and in different colors. Employees were nice too and they were helping the customers to avoid having long lines. Cashier was really nice and very professional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside was that it is too crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] P.S there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around. It is perfect to grad a coffee or something to eat before/after shopping trip.

Why? Why do I continue to return to this store despite the overcrowded ocean of people, the terrorizing sardine can like parking lot , and the not so low prices? It is because the products themselves are very, very delicious & fresh. They specialize in organic, flavorful, high-quality foods. The employees are hired based on personality so they are pretty outgoing and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience wise it is chaotic & is guaranteed to induce an anxiety attack.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend their teriyaki noodle bowls to go, the garlic cheese, the almond danish kringle pastry, the peanut butter Blondies, the fresh baked bread and the organic cotton candy Grapes are all a must. I also recommend getting their fresh coconut water and their plantain chips. They also have fresh flowers on sale out front!

There is parking in the back. Some plants and shopping carts are outside on the street. The layout of the store is decent. They typically have a good stock of their items. What's cool and different about this location is they have their usual freezers and also the freezers with doors (like a regular market).

Good thing I have learned to check my receipt. I have been overcharged at least four or five times from this Trader Joe's store.

After awhile I started to find what I needed and picked up a few other items as well. Was very surprised at how many shoppers were there at this time. I can't say enough about the cashier. She was very helpful and patient as I was fumbling through the checkout. The produce was good, as were the prices and the cashier made sure I received all the discounts available, which were significant. Overall an experience that was better than expected!!!

It has a great selection, it's clean, and the employees have always been friendly. I also appreciate that this store values inclusivity and gives meaningful employment opportunities to people who might not always be given the chance elsewhere. The only thing that has been a bit of a hassle has been renting their rug cleaners. The wait is often long (been stuck waiting for assistance for more than 30 mins on multiple occasions). I was also given a faulty rug cleaner that I had to come back and have replaced, which was kind of annoying to have to lug it back to the store and then once again wait to get a properly working one. But, all that aside, this continues to be my favorite store.

When I selected that option, it rang up as $2.49 instead. I called over the attendant to fix it, since you obviously need an employee to delete or correct an item. I explained the situation, and he looked at me like I was asking him to do something outrageous. He even looked at my friend to say, "Is she really asking me?" It was honestly uncomfortable and unnecessary. Who else would I ask.. All I needed was help correcting a pricing error. It was Sunday around 3 PM and the store wasn't even busy, so I don't understand the rude attitude. If you're assigned to self-checkout, assisting customers with issues is literally part of the job. Customer service makes a difference, even during small interactions. This one just left a bad impression.

This store has greatly improved. This place was so bad for a moment when I started coming here…read moreagain almost 3 years ago now. But what has changed is the rude staff are all gone (in my experience), everyone who is there now is friendly or at least neutral to me. Better than rude or awful. The speed at which checkout moves is fast or at least acceptable now. It used to be extremely slow, but it's greatly improved. You also used to close the self check out relatively early which now I notice you do NOT, which I am VERY appreciative of. Frankly I just can do it much faster than anyone and I prefer it to get in and out quickly, so thank you for keeping it in place and open later than you used to, that keeps the human cashier lines manageable. I'll buy wine so that's why I may need the human to help me out. But nothing more annoying to me than it being 10pm and there's 1 mile long line with full carts and all I need is 2-3 things, well that experience pretty much doesn't happen anymore which is very much appreciated. I find your evening staff to be notably most friendly, they're talkative but not obnoxious or slow and I feel comfortable coming through the line if I have to. There's a couple annoying things, like a few annoyingly narrow spots you have in extremely busy areas, I can't figure out why you have so much stuff directly in front of the cereal + chips aisle. People cannot pass through there easily, every single time I come here I bump into someone, like easily a 99% success rate that I'm going to crash into someone. That's not good. Same goes for too much stuff down the middle of the cheese/deli meat section near the bank, makes passing nearly impossible at times, then again near the self checkout you always have a lot of liquor which makes passing difficult. Customers don't like having to pretend it's a stop sign intersection to pass by, we just want to shop not have an island of liquor impeding progress. Another thing that bugs me is this is the only Ralph's that doesn't put clearance tags on the frozen food section stuff. Why? I've gotten mixed answers. One guy told me it's because the tags don't stay on because the packaging is wet from the freezer, well that's BS because other Ralph's stores do it just fine and the stickers aren't coming off. But another time I saw a guy at the self checkout take something from a woman who said she didn't want it anymore, so he went directly to the clearance door and just chucked it in there. So basically he didn't have time or care to find the true location (fair, he's working self checkout not restock) and so it ends up in the clearance spot, when it's not actually priced as so. Which makes people just buy it because they think it so on sale when it's not! A third time, I asked how to even know what the clearance price is? The guy told me "you find out it at the register". Well I want to know now, not when you ambush me into it and then we find out it's not on discount and you just throw it back into the discount section to repeat the cycle. Isn't that insane? Ultimately though the 2 gripes aren't going to keep me out of here anytime soon, I just thought it may be worth explaining.

Once you park, you can enter the store and take their escalator up top. The store is very well organized and clean. Plenty of space in their aisles. I wanted to build my own "family meal" rather than just take the ones already made. It took a little while for the employee to acknowledge me as she had her back facing the customer's view. Once she realized I was waiting, she assisted me right away. For my meal, I picked the blackened salmon, Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad and the kale salad. The tray was filled up quite well and was satisfied with the portions. $35 plus tax but you can meal prep ( I use for my work lunch or lazy dinner days with this heat) I used the self-checkout lanes and that went smoothly. I do agree that several staff members just hang out and chat amongst each other OR appear to be in a "grumpy" mood. But, I steered away from any of those vibes. I know I can always rely on my food being fresh at this store. I know all meat and fish is sourced sustainably and is fresh. Sometimes when I feel lazy to cook I love getting their prepped family meals. It's a good value $27-$32 depending on the protein choices and it has soooo much food in it. And if you lucky to snatch one with 50% off coupon then it's a ridiculous price for an amazing meal. Oh and separate note of love goes to all the 50% off coupons for "soon to expire" foods , especially now when prices are skyrocketing. Also if something is ever not fresh, the return process is very easy. Staff mostly seem very nice and ready to help. Meat/fish department guys always ready to give a recommendation on how to cook chosen item if you ask them.
