(We called 26 hours ago) Just after contacting them we also contacted Dick Van Dyke Appliance World. Their service guy just left. Our dishwasher just happened to work without him doing anything to it. It cost less than what Shermans quoted us for a service call and we got a lot of information from him on what the problem could've been AND there is a 30 day service call warranty. (The problem could've been something stuck to mess with water level sensors.) I'm really happy with the way we were treated, how fast they came out, and all the things we learned about how to maintain our dishwasher. If I ever need any appliances or anything I will go to Dick Van Dyke Appliance World.

But we plan not to use Dick Van Dyck again. 1) We purchased a new dishwasher late 2025. The middle rack was not rolling out after moving to a different level. They came out and said there is rust on the track and it is a known issue with the model we bought. If I was a retailer, I would be all over the manufacturer. I would at least check the appliance before it left the store to the customer. But that might just be me. 2) On August 7 we purchased a new refrigerator from Dick Van Dyck. After a few days we noticed the audible notification that the door is still open is not working. Service came out and said it looked like the sound board is out. ON A NEW REFRIGERATOR? Service came out on 8/31 to replace the sound board. That did not resolve the issue. Tech said there might be an issue with the main board. ON A BRAND-NEW REFRIGERATOR? Also, while the tech was there the meat / cheese drawer got set to freezer. This froze out meet, cheese and a bottle of wine. It froze the wine and caused the cork to pop. 3) We called on 9/1 and talked to our salesperson Lee to express our displeasure. He said he would talk to the tech to see what is going on and call us the next day. Still no word from anyone at Dick Van Dyke on anything. AVOID DICK VAN DYKE!!!!!!!

This review is of service in Bloomington Illinois: The…read moreservice technician was PROFESSIONAL - 5 STARS. That's where it ended. I had a whirlpool dryer repaired and got an estimate that did not itemize three parts. I asked for that and got the run-around from the lady in the office. She said they will not order parts until I agree to pay for the repair. The only reasons I let them continue was the technician and the money I paid for diagnostics that would be deducted from the total bill. Don't be fooled! And I had to follow up myself with the office, asking whether the parts were received. She insisted I got texts and messages when I did not. When I looked up the cost of the parts on Whirlpool's own website, they were MUCH less than what I was charged. A thermostat alone was almost TRIPLE the cost. The total was just shy of 150% MORE. The difference was about $150 which COULD HAVE been charged as labor. It was not. And if that's how it works with the franchise, they charged me tax on the labor (this is speculation). My bad, and still, not cool.

My fridge stopped getting cold so I called Mr. Appliance because I've used them before with my dryer. The tech told me my parts were discontinued , and not available, and if he could order them they are on back order l!! That night my husband and I went to Lowe's and purchased a new fridge and it was being delivered the next day and they were taking the old fridge! I called Mr appliance the next morning when they opened and the receptionist told me the parts were due there today and I couldn't cancel my service even though I didn't own it anymore! I can't get a manager to call me and they won't call me back or refund me even tho I signed no contract and the website says I can be refunded besides the 140$ serviced fee this happens in may and it's almost August and I haven't been refunded!! Where do I start with all the great things to say. Both the people I worked with were amazing help!…read more I had bought an AC fan motor online and now needed a fan blade. For starters the price difference from The Parts Depot IN STOCK OPTION was only $10 more. I wish I hadn't had to wait 2-3 days to get mine online and just bought there higher quality option (with warranty) in store. Regardless of the fact that I bought online, the owner didn't hesitate for one second to go above and beyond to help me out. We could not find my fan blade (very unique) so he kept the assembly and emailed his supplier, the NEXT DAY he had the parts I needed waiting for me! Idk about you, but this kind of service, pricing, and convenience if worth it's weight in GOLD! Needless to say I am a Parts Depot customer for LIFE now. Thanks!!!

The correct one was given to me, yet when I got home I realized after installed that it was not spinning the correct direction to exhaust . Before tearing into it myself and finding online that the motor only spun one direction, I took it back. After about ten minutes of troubleshooting, knowledge, know-how and all around friendly service the staff had it working the way I needed it. I say support small businesses as much as you can, especially this one!! Before you give up, throw it out and buy new, give Parts Depot a try.

This past winter, I had a major problem with my fridge where it was not cooling properly so I…read morecontacted the manufacturer LG and was set up with Chambers Services to have the repair done. I was promised by both LG and by chambers multiple times that this was going to be covered under warranty. I was promised by chamber specifically over the phone and in person by the technician that this would be covered. However, I received a bill approximately a month later and I called to explain to them what happened and was blown off being told that I was still responsible for this because I signed the form saying that I would be even though I was told before signing that this was absolutely covered under warranty and that I was not going to be responsible for any bills. They said they could not proceed with the repair until this was done. I called the office yesterday and asked them to review the phone call where I was promised this would be covered because I have now been sent to collections. I was told over the phone yesterday that they would review the call and get back to me and I had not received anything back yet, so I called in today to see if anyone was able to look at that yet and spoke to a manager. She said that they are not going to take care of the bill or help me out in anyway because I signed the form saying that I was responsible if LG didn't cover and did not cover it under their warranty. My argument is not that it should've been covered under warranty. I understand that that is very matter of fact, and there is no gray area, but I was promised at multiple points by this company that it was going to be covered and that I absolutely would not be responsible for any bills. I was then told today that she could not go back and look at or listen to old phone conversations from back in December because they got a new phone system in April yet the person on the phone yesterday said that they would review that call isn't that convenient that they have a new phone system and that they have no way of showing that they promised the service would be done under LG Warranty? Also, the technician showed up late and sat in his car smoking for 20 minutes, while I stood on the porch, waiting for him to come up and introduce himself. He then looked at the fridge for approximately 5 minutes and misdiagnosed the fridge. I am now responsible for a fridge that was incorrectly repaired. I had to buy an entirely new fridge. Overall just a very unprofessional company with poor service and shady business practices. I'll be recording all of my own calls in the future due to this unprofessionalism
