Green Valley Towing did it for MUCH less AND he made here in less than 39 minutes. The driver was very conscientious, and very careful when loading my beloved car onto his flatbed trailer. I followed him to the shop and he was able to skillfully back the trailer into a pretty narrow alley. It was a very hot day, my friend and I were stressed (150 miles from home), and his immediate offer of cold water nearly brought us tears of relief. He expertly maneuvered his tow truck into a tough spot to get the car. I had called a nearby mechanic to receive the tow, but minutes before our arrival at the auto shop Fazl mentioned that my insurance would cover a tow all the way home to SF. He pulled over while I decided what to do, and when I told him that I would indeed like a tow to SF he offered to give me and my friend time for a meal in town before leaving (we hadn't eaten all day). I was then given DAILY UPDATES on my car repairs via text msgs with ETA's each time (1 OEM part on back order). They always have amazing oil change deals running, (it's what first brought me in) so it's always worth it to call and check. I brought my car in again this week as they had another great special for an oil change. Which is a godsend in this economy and if you're already drowning in bills. The service was quick, easy, and everyone was friendly. I had initially mentioned another small issue with my car that I think was overlooked maybe due to some miscommunication. Even though they were clearly busy and finished with my main service, they were so nice and took the time to pull my car back in and make sure everything was good and even fixed the issue on the spot. They treated me like a friend or family member, I was so surprised and grateful. These are just honest people doing good work and treating their customers well. What business even does that anymore! Prices may change within time, but when I received service, he charged $65 for pickup and dropoff and $5/mile. In total, it came out to around $432 to drive 71 miles. Other places were charging $600-$700 and some weren't able to leave the Sac area. Plus, the driver was quick, kept me updated with ETA, and respectful. Wonderful service and price.
