Was in Utah for 4 days to do some construction work and I found this hotel online and was concerned because it was a little cheaper than the other hotels but decided to give it a shot for a day. I arrived for a 3 night stay over Thanksgiving to visit family close by. The guy at the front desk probably would crack his face if he smiled. As I was checking in it was announced to me that I would have NO housekeeping service for my entire stay. No sheets, towels or emptying baskets etc., This owner of this franchise is a cheap "ass" who screws his customers by not offering housekeeping services but NOT adjusting pricing to reflect his savings. I am going to complain to Ramada corporate and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Honest is always the best policy. Hope this place closes down. read more

OK hotel. Close enough for a quick drive to Salt Lake City. Even better of you just need a cheap place to crash!

First of all the internet was very slow, therefore, I was unable to complete any of my work. All it did on an internet page was buffer. Second of all, I accidentally left my wallet in one of the drawers in my room. Oops! I called the front desk to see if housekeeping had found it, and after 15 minutes on the phone, with someone who barely spoke English, she finally found my reservation, and asked housekeeping if they had found it. They had. Seeing as I was already 4 and a half hours away I asked if she could possibly mail it to me COD. Shesaid no, there was no way they could do that. I even said I could fax her a pre-paid FedEx label, and she still she no. I had to turn around and drive back 320 miles to the hotel to retrieve my wallet. I'm thankful I hadn't jumped on a plane and been 1,000 miles away. read more

Wow this place was horrid! The phone had the wrong room number on it and the cord was broke. None of the light had covers on them and was disgusting. The remote to the tv didn't work. There was mold on the walls. The workout room was in a hotel room with barely any lighting the perfect place to get raped. I can't believe this is a ramada. Will NEVER return. read more

I really tried to like this hotel- but it was so gross! The floor made your feet/socks black, there was a line of dirt around the perimeter of the room (the vacuum does have attachments! Use them!) . The toilet had a line of grime and dirt around the base. The grout in the bathroom was noticeably dirty. The shower wouldn't drain. There was purple nail polish all over the (chipped) side table. There was a hole in the sheets. Even the remote felt dirty. The good: the towels smelled heavily bleached so at least THAT was clean. And the sheets were very crisp, which equals clean to me. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the cleanliness of this room ruined the experience for me. Every time I moved I saw or touched something dirty. We didn't even want to switch rooms- the whole place felt the same way. Go somewhere else. read more

First off, we are very laid back people--not very picky about hotels. We've stayed at this location several times over the years, and have loved it. Always clean, friendly staff, good location......until now. I am absolutely appalled at the way we were treated, especially my fiance. When we checked in, the staff on duty were not welcoming, and they acted like we were more of a nuisance, and we couldn't have been more kind, even though they weren't. We asked for a non-smoking room, however, when we first opened the door to the room it reeked like cigarette smoke. A tiny bit, we can handle. But this was bad. So, no problem, we'll just ask for a different room.....right? Hmmm. Didn't go that well. My sweet girl went over to ask for a different room, very nicely explaining that it smelled like cigarette smoke, and the two men on duty looked at her as if she just committed a crime. The first response we got was a rude face, followed by a "Um, this entire hotel is non-smoking". She was just glared at by these guys. I would have been more than happy to escort them to the room to let them take a good whiff--I don't know why someone was smoking in there, but that's not a normal smell for a non-smoking room. They gave a us another room, which was just fine. I appreciate that we were given another room, but the way my girl was treated was not okay. Unfortunately, because of this incident we will not be returning to this hotel ever again, or this hotel chain. She was extremely upset by the way she was treated by the guys on duty. You are in a hospitality business--you do NOT treat guests this way. And, may I say again, we are not picky people--we just don't appreciate being treated badly. read more

Price was the best I could find around. At least half what other hotels in the area were charging double at that time in December. Very close to the freeway and restaurant. We didn't have a problem finding a place to eat at all. I think they had free breakfast in the hotel but we slept in too late every morning. I was in town for a week at a training. There is one thing, I'm a dude so I would have never noticed this, but my Girlfriend called out the fact that there were some Mites making their way into the room from the window, like a whole army of them. We taped up the window seals and sprayed chemicals on them to kill them off and keep them out, but they kept coming in, maybe because it was cold outside? I should have informed the front desk but I don't like to relocate once I get situated. Also, this hotel has some transients coming in and out of it. Every night we would hear arguing and shouting from an old couple across the hall, one night the cops showed because of the disturbance. I know that kind of stuff happens anywhere, but seemed like this hotel had a unusual amount of it. read more

This hotel left much to be desired. I only chose it because it was closest to my daughter who lives in Riverton which has no hotels. The furnishings must be original from the 70s. Very old! In much need of an update. The sheets were so stained, with who knows what I asked for clean sheets and changes my own bed. Unfortunately the clean sheets had many stains as well. YUCK! The comforter was torn in many places. If it was mine i would have tossed it. The sheets were worn thin. The TV did not work without special instructions I didnt bother to ask at the front desk.Frankly I felt this was a 2 star hotel and not the 3 that was advertised. Never again will I stay here. The fitness room had a treadmill and an outdated machine but the room stunk so strongly of rubber I couldnt use it. The carpet was stained, old, smelly. The overall cleanliness was very poor and that is no exaggeration. The lock on our door was falling off, attached with 1 screw. Never again. read more

I do NOT recommend this place under any circumstances. There were no sheets on the bed upon arrival and the trash in the room was left over from the previous people who stayed. There were no towels or wash clothes either. Then when we left I accidentally left my ipod in the rush to check out and when I returned to get it the lady at the front desk said no the maids had just been in and nothing was reported being found in the room. I even called the police and since no maid would admit to taking it they said nothing could be done. read more

Please read thru, this is truly a case decent and awful. I wasn't expecting much when I booked the room. looking for a deal in this area for a night and this fit the bill. Arrived early and thought I could checkbin at noon was told not till three but they would let me in at 1 no extra fee. Front desk guy ok a little grumpy but still off to good start. Room was clean bed nice smelt good. Nothing extravagant but decent. So far so good. Left for the day got back late and everything was different. Almost immediately and for the next 4 and a half hourd another guest was locked out of there room or sometging so they proceeded to bang on the door and yell at whoever was in the room. Now this was not just one guest it seemed to be multiple rooms and happened about every hour till 430 am. In beetween it was groups of ppl gathering in the halls slamming doors yelling arguing and smoking. Finally at 330 I tried the room phone to call the front only to find it didn't work. I called on my phone I asked if they could do something about this constant yelling and banging on doors and was told they would check into it. I said to them there is No way you cant hear this there one hall and someone been yelling at a guest in a room every thirty minutes. It never stopped finally about 530 I think they left from the sound of them going in and out there door every 5 mins and getting locked out in between. What the fuck!! I might not have paid much but I didn't pay to not sleep and deal with this. Breakfast sucks and I hope I get my money back this place isn't worth the deal. read more

The worst Ramada I've ever stayed at.... period. Ramada should be ashamed. The staff had no idea what they were doing. Everything in the hotel is ancient. Tube TVs, stains on the furniture inside the room, the decor looks like my grandma's house, the heater didn't work to my room, nor did the card key to the room. Ridiculous! read more

I wished I could say that I had a similar experience while staying at this motel. But unfortunately I did not. The motel does have all of the standard amenities that one would expect and a continental breakfast as their site advertises. That however, is where the goodness of this place ends. We had requested a ground floor room when reserving our room due to a health condition. When we arrived at the motel in the early afternoon we were told by the desk clerk that she sees a request for a ground floor room but that we were put on the second floor. We asked if there was an elevator, no, we were told. But the stairs, "aren't too bad, only two small sets". So then we asked if there was any way that she could relocate us to the ground floor. We were told that the property was at capacity and that she could not change the rooms. That seemed a bit odd to us as the parking lot was empty at the time, except for a few cars, but it is early in the evening still. We check-in, carry our luggage, an oxygen machine up the stairs to our first room. First room was clean and actually pretty nice. We leave out for the evening. Upon our return, the same clerk tells us that she has changed our room to another on the ground floor. She just needs us to move our stuff out of the room upstairs. So once more, we carry everything back down the stairs, spend an half hour resting from the stairs, as my son has a heart condition which is why we requested the ground floor originally. Note: this is at almost 11pm and the parking lot has approximately 10 cars. Guess they had a large hiking group that was staying the weekend. Once we are in the second room, we find a room with black mold in the bathroom above the shower, a hole in the bathroom door, and an air conditioner that would not work. We call the front desk and are told to unplug it and plug it back in as that sometimes makes it work. We try that but no go, we opted for sleeping with the window open and were able to enjoy the wonderful sounds of I-15 through the night. The next morning we call the front desk, speak to another clerk and inform her that we are still having problems with the air conditioner, and that there is mold in the bathroom, so that she might have housekeeping address the problem. We return that evening to find that the mold is still present in the bathroom, the air conditioner is not working. Not impressed at this point. The next morning when we are checking out, the front desk manager tells us that we have an outstanding balance still. But we had used a debit card when we checked in. We call the bank, surely enough there is a charge for the motel pending on the account. She tells us that she is not sure what is going on because she has no record of our card being swiped at check in and has no payment. After almost an hour or looking through charge statements for the hotel, and calling the banks, she still has no answer to why there is no record on their system but we were already being charged. She agrees to take a check to hold until Monday morning when the banks are open as we are not willing to give her another card to swipe and charge. We think we are finally free of this horrible experience, NO. It continues for two more days after we return home. The next morning I call my bank, spend another half hour trying to figure out what happened with the front desk manager from the motel on three way, the bank tells her that the money is there and tagged for her business, she just needs to complete the transaction. The motel manager says that some how one of the clerks erased our card info from the system and that she would have to wait for the general manager to call her back with the numbers to receive the payment. Two days later she calls and says that she is destroying the check and resubmitting the card for payment. We have stayed at many different properties ranging from a motel no-tell once when we stopped in Denver without reservations while the pope was there, to 5 star hotels. We opted for this motel this time as it was a last minute decision to make the trip and we were trying to save some money. Now we know though, that this place is not worth saving 30 bucks. read more
