I stopped here at the airport for a coffee and such between flights. I came over right after getting through TSA, and I heard the music playing... It was inviting, like you wouldn't believe. A total vibe. And then the decorations around, Christmas cheer... I loved it. plus they had everything. (Mexican White Mocha, add a shot.... chefs kiss!) Yep. So Dec 7th, 2025. I'm glad I stopped by. Also the staff, Kinaya, was so kind. A total sweetheart. My kinda people. Next time i'm flying through memphis, Im coming back to this very place. Decided to hit this local shop instead of Starbucks this morning at the airport, and it was a solid move. The line here was non-existent, while the Starbucks queue was easily 25 people deep. * Iced Latte: Sugar-free vanilla, light ice, and oat milk. It tasted just fine--no complaints and hit the spot. * Breakfast Burrito: Similar to the options at the Starbucks this is a quick heat-and-serve item. It was egg, ham, and salsa. The salsa provided a nice flavor profile, though it wasn't spicy at all. However, unlike a Starbucks burrito, this one felt a bit thin and wasn't as well-stuffed. On the next trip through Memphis, I'd have no problem grabbing a coffee here again to save time. For food, I'll likely opt for a quick breakfast sandwich from Chick-fil-A instead. If I could leave zero stars, I would do so. This "ne group of employees are beyond horrendous. I am a frequent flyer and I love supporting small businesses. This is my last time supporting this business. I usually always order a turkey sausage on croissant and caramel cold brew. The gentleman (I believe his name is Landon) was so rude, took his sweet time, and messed up my order ($20 down the drain!). Like this is an airport and a fast paced environment! Stopped by another time to order a drink and the two baristas, Aaron and Luna were talking amongst themselves without assisting me so I walked off. Excellent service, clean, and delicious unique coffee blends and flavors such as Buttermoon. Ramblin Joe's also has organic teas and I highly recommend the London Fog with almond milk and vanilla and lavender flavorings. Their food choices are limited but hot and yummy. This is one of the places in the airport that serves breakfast items past 10am which is great. The employee that helped me out was super friendly. I ordered a croissant sandwich. Toasting croissants are tricky, they burn so quickly and unfortunately mine was on the burnt side of things. I should have checked before I left but I had to catch my flight. read more

This is the location inside from Memphis airport, and I was so happy to see a coffee option other than Starbucks, which was overrun with people. Ramblin' Joe's had no line and I was able to walk right up to the register and order. I was traveling on Mother's Day, which was a Sunday and trying desperately to get home to spend time with my family for the afternoon. I noticed that the refrigerated case had some locally-made single serve pies and breads that serendipitously happened to be all of my husband's favorite flavors; so, I decided that I wanted to get a few for him to try. I ordered one of the specialty coffees. It was absolutely delicious and made me know that I will look for an RJ out and about the next time I am in the area. I ended up purchasing a banana bread and a buttermilk chess pie. I later got to try the bread, but not the pie. The bread was moist and flavorful - so delicious! My husband said the pie was also good. The restaurant is designed very nicely, and the counter incorporates locally sourced wood from the Memphis zoo. I thought that was a nice touch because it was Sunday, there was gospel music playing softly over the overhead speakers. I enjoyed the music. They also sell ground coffee in different flavors. I wanted to purchase coffee beans, but learned that the specialty flavors do not come in a whole bean option. Overall, this was a great experience. I only removed a star because the ladies working were a little short with their responses in harsh in tone with me. read more

I must always arrive at the wrong time, because my beverages have just been ok the two times I've been here, but the service absolutely sucks. This morning we stopped in on our way to our gate. There was one person behind the counter, trying to alternate taking orders and preparing them. One by one, other employees started to trickle in to seemingly do nothing. 10 people standing in line, others waiting for orders and TWO employees need to address a single customer who was (nicely) asking that disposable gloves be changed after touching bacon. SMH. Not worth the wait. I'll forgo coffee the next time I'm at the airport because the Starbucks is even worse. read more

The latte I got here was one of the smoothest I have ever had. No acidic aftertaste, no bitterness. They had a great selection of milks (including oat and soy); I chose 2%. The coffee was nice and hot, so I could take my time enjoying it while perusing through the shops. The service was lovely. We got great advice to select a bag of coffee to bring home. Their customer service surpasses that of some of the 5-star restaurants I've visited. The lady at the counter could tell it was my first time at Ramblin Joes and kindly offered some suggestions, particularly for their top-rated frappes, as I was in the mood for one. I ultimately went with the Full Moon Frappe, and goodness, it was incredibly delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem of a place that deserves much more attention. We are waiting for a flight at the Memphis airport and stood in the insanely long line at Starbucks for about ten minutes and gave up bcuz it wasn't moving, aside from people ditching the line. So we backtracked to the area just inside the security checkpoint, where this brand new coffee shop is located. There was literally just one person in line ahead of us. I ordered a large French vanilla latte, and they only add two pumps of syrup, so I had them add three - two vanilla and one hazelnut. The latte came hot and tasty. It tasted just as good as one from its competitor, without the crazy wait! read more
