The service is fast and the waitress had great options for us vegetarian folks! It is quiet enough for a conversation but can feel congested for sure as it is a small space. We always order the VEGETARIAN HOKKAIDO Spicy Ramen and add extra half noodles and eggs - highly recommend both additions! I also love to add in kimchi. Still my favorite ramen joint. Last time we tried coming here, the place was closed due to a fire at the convenience store next door. The convenience store is still closed down and you can see the exterior fire damage but it looks like RM was unscathed. And because the convenience store is closed down, the whole parking lot is pretty much open for parking. Ordered my usual Hokkaido Miso with extra noddles so I could share with 2 kids. We also got an order of chicken karaage- it's a must when you're getting ramen. Everything about it was wonderful and it sure hits the spot when you're craving ramen. The chashu is cooked to perfection, along with noodles, and the savory broth is good to the last drop. With the fall coming in, I'll be stopping by more often to enjoy ramen on a cool day. Although this was a bit further out of the way for me, I am so happy that I came here. When you get there, you're in a very unassuming parking lot. When you enter, there's a sheet to sign in because it of course is very busy! Not many spots to ​sit, but there is a bar and some tables. The smell is amazing while sitting in the waiting area. I got the pork fried rice, karage chicken and hokkaido ramen with extra shoyu egg. We ate the karage chicken too fast for a photo! Soooo good! We got a small, which had a good number of pieces, but it was so delicious that I wish we got a​ large size! I loved the pork fried rice so much. I could eat that every day and be happy. It was so light and flavorful with delicious​ little pieces of pork, kamaboko (fish cake) and egg. The ramen was also delicious and came in a HUGE bowl. I really overestimated my ability to eat all this! The flavor was also very rich and satisfying. I was uncertain about the potato wedges at first, but when they were soaked in the broth, they were amazing. Give it a try! Got seated at the counter after a 10-15 minute wait on a Saturday night for a party of two. Hokkaido miso ramen: very rich and full-bodied. The toppings like the potato wedge and corn complement the rich savoriness of the soup. The egg in both ramens was amazing. Flavorful, jammy, easily one of the best ramen eggs in the area. Chashu is great as always but it's definitely for the meat lovers. It was a bit too much meat for me, but my boyfriend happily are both his and my portions. The chashu is thick cut and grilled on the spot. Tokyo miso ramen: also rich, but slightly lighter and sweeter than the Hokkaido ramen. I love the tofu topping on this. It just soaks up all of the broth. Karaage: a must get for me every time. It's light, not over-battered and so juicy. I prefer the Tokyo ramen, but my boyfriend liked the heartiness of the Hokkaido more. As a personal preference, it's a bit too heavy for an every day ramen. But it's an amazing special occasion ramen if you want to treat yourself. read more
