Apparently Deems Vendor had changed their finishing vendor between the time we selected our cabinets and had them installed. Matt worked tirelessly over a 6 month period to help us get the cabinet fronts that correctly matched the rest of the cabinets. He came out numerous times inspecting the replacement and rejecting them because there was not a proper color and/or finish match. We replaced countertops, backsplash and put down premium vinyl planks over the entire 500 square foot area. Also added new sinks/faucets in the kitchen and laundry. Design staff was able to guide us to our final decision of quartz countertops, with waterfall peninsula, slab backsplash and wide plank flooring. We chose Vadara Aurora quartz, with subtle light grey and gold veining. After reviewing many samples, we chose Shaw Fresh Take Shell Taupe 60" x 9" vinyl planks. H2OPlumbing, Joe Phillips Electric, H & H Construction, Stone Boyz and Island Accents did excellent work, arriving on time and cleaning up when they left. The scope of the project expanded when both plumbing and electrical staff found faulty/hazardous work previously done, which was corrected in an efficient manner. Top Gunn chose their trades wisely. All personnel were professional, friendly and gladly answered our many questions. The finished product is better than we had imagined. I would have given them 5 stars except that they were slow getting the job done and that we had to travel to Tampa to pick out our granite. They did have an excellent granite selection once we got there. They did a good job removing and installing our cabinets and a great job installing our granite. We had some small issues after the install but they were addressed without a hitch. If they could speed up the install process, I would have given them 5 stars. Nobody likes to be without a kitchen.

After I complained, Mike admitted a "mistake" and dropped it to $380, which I paid just to get the job moving.Extremely Poor Project Management: I was told the job would take 3 days. Instead, it dragged on for over a week with a mix of full days and half days. As a business owner, I couldn't just take a full week off to babysit this project.Incomplete Work & Rude Staff: The installer refused to hang the shower door and soap dishes, even though they were clearly on our signed agreement. When I messaged Mike about this, he rudely tried to force a Tuesday morning appointment on us without checking our schedule. When I asked for a different time, Matt became highly argumentative. Matt promised to check on a Friday slot and never called back.Bogus Fees & Refund Games: Out of nowhere, Mike sent me an invoice for $150 for a "canceled appointment" that was never even scheduled! Later, when I went to return unused tile and grout--which Mike originally said was fine--they changed their tune. Matt got nasty again and only refunded half of what I paid.Shady Release Forms: Mike later agreed to refund an additional $260, but only if I signed a liability release waiver freeing them of further action. I refused. A day later, he changed his mind again, trying to deduct an $80 cancellation fee for another ghost appointment. When I asked for the specific day and time someone allegedly showed up, he went silent.These people are unprofessional, dishonest, and aggressive. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else!
