They have another location in Hanover Park, the one we usually go to. We wanted to try their other store (this one) and it was mediocre. The food itself is amazing but when you walk into the bathroom you see it and disgust you. My whole family was disappointed and our appetite was gone. This restaurant is a challenge to find. It is located inside a old Seigle's building that was closed and taken over by a Mexican Flea Market. No signage for the restaurant until you enter and go straight to the back of the building. As with most great Mexican joints this is a hole in the wall type of place. Couple of tables and chairs, no frills for sure. If I haven't scared you yet you will be pleasantly surprised because the food it terrific. We ordered 2 al pastor tacos. Great pastor, not traditional roasted on the spit, but crisped on a flat top and well seasoned. Next up was a al pastor burrito. This was on par with most mexican places, well balanced ingredients. Then we ordered a al pastor huarache, covered in onions, cilantro and crumbly mexican cheese. Loved the thick masa laden oval shaped tortilla this came on. We finished up with the most surprising dish of the day, the chicharrones quesadilla, which was nothing short of fantastic. Now I have to tell you I am no fan of quesadilla's, I normally consider them kids food, but this changes the way I will look at all quesadilla's from here on. The filling was incredible and the tortilla was thick and fried crispy. Can't wait until I go back. The salsa's were outstanding also and they placed a cup of fiery!!! pickled onions and habanero's on each table. If you are a fan of great mexican food this place isn't to be missed. Food is really good, it has the Mexico City kind of feeling. They have all sorts of foods from quesadillas to pambazos and tacos. The only con is their prep time. If you are going there for lunch during work you better call your order in, otherwise you will spend most of your lunch time waiting. 10-20 minutes approx. Overall good place! read more

New Tyler Creek location occupying two storefronts off Big Timber. You order at the counter. No chips, no table service (no tip). Lady makes homemade tortillas on the grill for the quesadillas (which are a giant taco folded over, filled with meat and cheese). The table salsas are great. It is a good place for a quick bite. The milanesa was tough and looked old as if they had it there for days and re fried it. It was awful. It didn't not look anything like the pictures they have there. The ones I make at home taste better than what they gave me. I also ordered a limonada and they gave me a warm limonada. It's common sense to put ice or at least make it with cold water. My husband ordered tacos de cabeza that tasted nothing like cabeza. It had no taste to it and the meat was practically black. I've been to this place before for the quesadillas but always on the weekends. This place is not closed but it should be. These were the worst tacos I ever had in my life. Nickel and dime you to death too. 2.25 per taco rice 1.99 beans 1.99 so 3 tacos rice and beans with sour cream rice and lettuce 17.00 GTFO. They offer no meals everything is seperate and overpriced zero taste in the meat you can taste the char of the meat very small amount shells were warmed and stale plenty of lettuce. A salad taco. I would never go back here and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The rice was clumpy no taste beans were tasteless also. Fire the cook and turn off the stupid video games in there. It was torture waiting 25 min for my food and listening to punching sounds from annoying machines. Yes 25 min for horrible food. Yes that was me that threw the full containers of food in front of your store. A homeless man probably wouldn't want it. read more

I can't believe this place isn't packed everyday!!! Tons of very good food and exotic fruit salads and smoothie drinks. These guys can cook some tasty Mexican food. I eat there at least twice a week. We ordered our food and we're waiting for a while and when we asked about it ( because we were on our lunch break) the cook started yelled at us and saying we were told it would be a while even thought the place was pretty much empty.
