They cut out and removed my old lawn, raked and leveled the yard, put down new topsoil, fertilized and then proceeded to lay 17 pallets of St Augustine sod. Then to complete the job, they rolled the entire job and removed all the little debris from the property. It made me tired just watching them. We were put in touch with Ken because he isn't just an arborist he's also an apiarist (beekeeper). He came out the same day I spoke with him to assess the situation and sent me the estimate that evening. The very next day we set an appointment. We had to reschedule due to the biblical amount of rain we've been experiencing lately, but Ken was highly communicative and made sure we were taken care of as soon as everything dried up. Extraction Day was a scorcher but the tree came down, the bees were rehomed and we got some honeycomb! Ken even texted me today (6 days after removal) to let me know that the bees are healthy and adapting well to their new environment and...oh yeah!!! he's got a jar of honey with our name it that we can pick up at the River Lights Farmers Market tomorrow.
