SHADY!!!! I had a MVA this wk CHP called for a tow being that I have AAA...Luis showed up, he immediately insisted that my car be taken to the tow yard I told him absolutely NOT he was to take it to the body shop as instructed I even confirmed the location and mileage with him....guess he decided to what he wanted...my car never showed up...he NEVER gave me any info for him or his tow company either...the next day my ins had to hunt down my car and Ramos towing gave some excuse that they tried to drop it off but the body shop declined it (lie)and they wanted the storage fees paid...after filing a complaint and my ins co. jumping through hoops my car finally showed up Friday at the body shop which they then tried to collect fees again and there was more damage to my car then what was from the accident not to mention you could tell that someone had been in my car due to the seats laid back with a half drank Gatorade bottle left on the passenger seat and the driver side floor board dirty and all the paper in my glove box fell out when I opened it. I lost my keys and got locked out. Alex got to me within 10 minutes and was beyond helpful and understanding. He opened my car and I went in starting to look for the keys. As I was emotional and crying he gave me a couple minutes - which I greatly appreciated. When I could not find the keys he had the task of towing the car without the keys and the doors continually locking. Out of all the tow companies I have worked with and all the tow people, Alex dell from Ramos towing was beyond the best. Called AAA after someone stole my brothers truck from my house, rolled it down the street and abandoned it and it wouldn't start. AAA tell us 45min-1hr about an hour an 10 min later I get a call from Ramos Towing, they explained they had just got the call but could see the time stamp and were really sorry about the wait, quoted me 15 minutes and were there right on time. Driver let us know that they cancelled the call with AAA and would tow us on the house for the inconvenience, really considerate and nice of them since it was not their fault. We were being towed less than a mile, driver was able to back the truck onto the side of the driveway, less than 5 minutes and the whole thing was done. Was a wonderful end to what started as a tragic day! I highly recommend Ramos Towing, they were right on time, very courteous and quick! Whenever I'm in need of towing and have to contact AAA, I always request Ramos Towing. For starters I'll get a text when they'll be on their way with an ACTUAL ETA, UNLIKE other companies may send a text just stating they're on their way. Also their drivers are clean cut, professional and very knowledgeable. They also take the time to talk to you about your situation and are very nice. They don't give you the impression like they just want to get you going and be on their way like experiences I've had with other towing companies. I got flat tire on the freeway near the 91 60 215 interchange. I changed the driver side tire on the right shoulder of the busy freeway but my spare was flat. I called for a tire inflation at 11:50am and the estimated wait was an hour. The dispatcher made it an urgent request because of where I was parked being hazardous, and luckily the driver arrived in less than 10 minutes. He put air in the spare, and I was driving within 3 minutes of his 50 minute early arrival. Put aside the object I ran over that demolished my tire and forget about my spare being flat and I'd say that situation couldn't have gone any easier or quicker. read more

Simply an incredible experience! I blew out a tire on the freeway and called AAA, who dispatched a driver from this company. AAA gave me an expected arrival time that was about 30 minutes from the time I called. I settled in for a boring wait, but was pleasantly surprised when the driver arrived in less than 5 minutes--he changed the tire equally as fast. I was home before the time that AAA had given me for the driver's arrival. Wow. I wish I had made a note of the drivers name, because he was friendly and provided excellent customer service, and most importantly got me on the road again in no time. I have used many different AAA providers throughout my years of messing around with project vehicles. With that being said I have had good and bad experiences with tow companies, in my experience the bad experiences have usually reflected problems with dispatch and logistics more so than the drivers them selves. Regardless, I have thanked drivers and sometimes tipped when they were able to accept tips but have never felt the need to recommend there services to others. Tonight I was driving in my offroad project truck that I recently had made "road worthy" I was so confident in the truck that I even convinced my girlfriend to ride along. While on our way to a friends house the truck dropped a valve seat and barely made it off of the freeway. We coasted into the seediest part of town with my truck and came to a stop. After determining the truck was not gonna drive any further, I called AAA for flatbed service, expecting to have to wait an hour or more while fighting off the homeless people in the area. AAA informed me that they would be dispatching a tech from Ramos towing and the waiting game began. Much to my surprise Ramos towing was on the scene in less than 30 minutes, ready to save the day. The technician Ruben, after introducing himself to us and offering some ice cold bottled waters, got right to work. He secured our truck and we rode in the tow truck cab back home. Our car was totaled in an accident last week. We were injured and unable to remove the car ourselves though we did have AAA. CHP had Ramos Towing tow the vehicle to their tow yard; presumably because they are AAA certified. Every day it was some payment excuse by the tow yard not to release our car to the insurance-dispatched tow company. By the time Ramos Towing "received" the payment for storage of the car, it was too late in the day for another company to pick it up before Ramos closed for the day. This went on for several days until Liberty towing assured us that this was a scam that Ramos regularly runs with insurance companies. Fed up, I called AAA and asked for AAA to dispatch Ramos to tow the car to the body shop. AAA complied, but again, Ramos gave dozens of excuses or why it was taking hours to move my car less than 5 miles even though AAA showed the tow truck on location the entire time. They gave up trying and said they would tow it at 7 am the next morning. By 11 am it still was not there. I called AAA yet again, and finally the vehicle was delivered by 1pm on Saturday. The initial request was submitted that Tuesday. While ultimately the insurance companies will be suffering from this price gouging, I believe it should be made aware that Ramos is operating with these business practices in place. I have already shared this information with AAA. read more
