Great place for annual flowers in the spring and produce in the fall. Their corn on the cob never disappoints!

And the bonus? Most of the time they are still warm on the bottom. Just the apple. The other flavors must be made elsewhere because the crust is not the same. No, I'm not a fan of that other place, just not impressed. More impressed with a place way further up county but it doesn't matter. Westchester Greenhouse makes the best Apple Pie. Yes, I have busted into this pie in the car many times. Forks ready. The pie is still hot, folks. Seasonally, the apple cider donuts are the best anywhere. Yes, better than That place. And that other one up there with the mazes, and bouncy houses and things you don't want or need or have to pay extra to walk on their property. Donuts. That's what that line is about. It moves fast. They hand you the box in the line, they are hot. And with more apple cider taste than those other places too. Apple pie and apple cider donuts. Oh and Wave Hill breads if you can't make it to the farmers markets. Everything else is a plus. Plants. Produce. Wreaths. It's all good. I should buy raspberries from them and tell them to make be a custom raspberry pie with that crust they have on their Apple.

It wasn't until I read through the entire ingredients of the product I consumed where I saw "macadamia nut" listed in the mix of all the other ingredients in the products & it wasn't in bold. I made the rounds grabbing a assorted of produce of fruits and veggies along with a few jars of jam and honey but the fresh baugette breads was the highlight for me as the bread was delicious and worth the visit alone . It's cool that many towns , villages , etc , in Westchester county have these seasonal weekend markets available for us city folks to enjoy . I recommend the hartsdale farmers market with a 4.5 stars yelp review , a bit pricey compared to your local supermarket but worth it in my opinion.

You can snag a parking spot right by Starbucks or adjacent to the Metro North station- if it's crowded. The many times we've stayed up in Woodstock, always make it a point to have a bite at the Bread Alone café- just because we know their breads/baked items are good. So when we noticed Bread Alone's table at this market, I was all over it. If Bread Alone isn't participating that particular Saturday, there are other Bread goods that you can get your hands on. With the exception of their Produce, there's also a Pickle & Olive table and Pastries too. This market is a decent fixture in these parts with basic essentials...... but it's really small. Seems like you can get away with a bigger selection over at the White Plains Farmer's Market. My only focus? The Bread Alone table (or any other baked goods).

I've been eating here since about 2017 when it was a great deal smaller with no seating inside but limited outside dining. Since it's expansion they offer so much more. A few things offered are ample seating inside and more space to move about. They have broadened the food selections. They are known for their hot food. If you want a good hot meal, this is your spot. But come early because things sell out quickly, they offer fantastic salads and a wide variety of salad dressings. On my visit I was really disappointed, that the salad and pasta cooler was half empty to the point of being depleted. They normally have meatless burgers and a bigger variety of pasta and beans. I chose the Farro Protein salad. It was really nothing to yelp about. So I'm yelping about the other stuff, not the Farro salad. Got it? Okay! They have pizza on the other side and a delicious bakery section in the expanded section. I loved the food so much that one year I asked them to cater a thanksgiving dinner with cream spinach and a carrot cake. All carrot cakes aren't the same, believe me. Cherry Lawn had one of the best, if not the best carrot cakes around. They also have a sushi section that's pretty tasty, as a matter of fact I just may go get sushi soon. They even have all sorts of flowers. They offer a huge parking lot for our convenience. Going in, you must form a line for the hot food, salad, and pasta sections. The customer service is wonderful here, they work in harmony like a bunch of worker ants. So uniformed and organized. If you want a variety of food and groceries, they have it. I think I covered it all so... Inspire more,Yelp more!

Stew Leonard's in Yonkers isn't just a grocery store... it's basically a field trip for adults…read more From the moment you walk in, you realize this is not your average "run in, grab milk, get out" kind of place. Nope. This is a "let me just grab one thing" that somehow turns into a full-on adventure. First stop--the candy shop . I'm not even ashamed to say it brought out my inner kid immediately. Bright colors, endless options... you go in for groceries and suddenly you're debating how many snacks is too many snacks (answer: there is no such thing ). Then you hit the hot food area . The soup bar was steaming like it had something to prove, and everything looked fresh and ready to warm your soul. Perfect for those "I don't feel like cooking today" days... which, let's be honest, is most days. Now let's talk about the pizza station --because WOW. Fresh pies, great prices, and slices that actually look like they were made with love. This isn't gas station pizza... this is "lemme grab one slice" that turns into two... maybe three The olive bar deserves its own moment. The selection is wild--in a good way. Neatly organized, tons of variety, and somehow it makes you feel classy while scooping olives into a container like you know what you're doing. Then you slide over to the butcher section ... clean, premium cuts, and everything looks like it belongs in a steakhouse. If you mess up dinner with meat like that, it's not the store's fault--it's yours The fresh cut fruit section is another win--colorful, fresh, and ready to go. Healthy choices were definitely whispering my name... I just chose not to listen for a little while longer And the dairy section? Rows on rows of fresh milk with that farm-style vibe --it almost makes you feel like you should be wearing overalls while shopping. To top it all off, I grabbed a drink and just stood there for a second taking it all in . Clean store, great layout, and an overall vibe that actually makes grocery shopping enjoyable... which is rare. I could write so much more about this store this review will turn into a novel. I will say whoever came up with the strategic idea of having no aisles, like standard grocery stores, is a hero in the super market industry. The set up doesn't allow you to miss anything in the store. If you shop, you have to travel through every section in a winding, one-way, one-road, colorful and exciting journey through the land of Oz. From the entrance to the cash registers there is no way to skip over anything. Must-see-marketing! Bottom line: Stew Leonard's turned a simple grocery run into an experience. You come in for milk and leave with snacks, pizza, olives, and somehow a whole new attitude about grocery shopping Fresh, fun, and dangerously easy to overspend--in the best way possible. 5 stars all day!

I got a one of these bags today with 4 peppers and a cauliflower which was only $4! Great deal. I need to make sure I will cook it next few days. Overall love stew Leonard's, great for kids and always smells so good when walking in.
