We ordered another bottle of red and the "gentleman" came back and rudely told us they opened the other bottle of wine for us, so we needed to keep it. I explained we did not order or want white wine but he was insistent and we ended up taking the bottle with us, even though he was in the wrong, because we were hungry and didn't want to ruin our meal. The situation was unfortunate, but had he been polite, it would have been fine. He behaved like a tantruming child rather than an employee of an upscale restaurant. All of the food was too salty, as though to compensate for the lack of flavor. The brussel sprouts were very greasy and the bordelaise that came with my filet was thin and had little flavor. The filet itself was tough and medium rather than the medium rare I ordered. There were also a couple of small fruit flies around the table after the food came out, which made me question the cleanliness of the entire place.

It is on par with the ladies room at the Plaza hotel (another very nice, spacious one). The front desk people are also polite & helpful. They have never given me problems or made me feel like an intruder. Goes for all the staff, really. Lastly, the 5th floor rehearsal space which is only for members & guests is wonderful. If you know a Lambs member, that person should definitely consider using the rehearsal space for rehearsals since there's pianos as well as lots of space to practice your acting, dance routine, etc.
