Instead, he was open, transparent, and genuinely trustworthy. He asked thoughtful questions about what we wanted, listened to our ideas, and then walked us through options in a way that made sense. What stood out most was that he even recommended a less expensive product because it was the better fit for us. John also encouraged us to take home multiple samples, which, combined with their online visualizer tool, really helped us see how different choices would look in our home. After we decided, he came out for exact measurements, and provided a detailed estimate--down to every line item--something other companies didn't always do. The installation team - Roberto, Gui, and Fabio - was outstanding. They arrived on time daily, were respectful and extremely detail-oriented, and handled our furniture with care. While we moved the smaller items, they worked carefully around the larger pieces. Each day they cleaned up thoroughly, and left no debris behind after the project was completed. If you're serious about your flooring project and want results like ours (see pictures), give John at Red Eagle a call. He and his team will take excellent care of you. George, Dade City

We wanted to keep the tile and the cabinets but needed new countertops and backsplashes. After a number of quotes and interaction with other companies I chose Red Eagle. John, the owner, helped with picking out the tile, getting us a great discount in purchasing materials and was on the job the entire time. He didn't just drop off his guys and come back when it was finished. The install price was extraordinary. I was a little concerned that with such a reasonable price that the work would be substandard. Was I wrong. He is meticulous with his work and the work of his crew. He has an incredible eye for details with all the most up to date equipment. He wanted to make sure everything was right. Even matching up a mosaic backsplash corner so that it matched. I have a brand new kitchen for half the price of what others quoted me. He was also sure to keep the area clean and dust free. He put down special covering to protect our hard wood floors and was such a professional. The work was done timely and I am nothing but impressed. In fact, after he was done with my kitchen I immediately hired him to do an accent wall in my family room. I'm looking forward to see how that turns out. I have nothing but good things to say about John and Red Eagle.

First, Jim came out when he said he would to look at my kitchen, and give me a quote. The quote was reasonable, so I accepted. Then his crew showed up the day he said they would, and work commenced. The first thing they did was lay down protective covering over my wood floors from my door to my kitchen, so the floors stayed protected the entire time. To say they found some issues with my existing kitchen floor is an understatement. It was a wreck; water damage, rotting wood, tile laid on top of vinyl flooring laid on top of terrazzo - yikes! Jim and his crew sent pictures of what they were discovering every step of the way, and were quick to reassure me it could all be repaired. In addition to pulling up the damaged flooring, they also replaced some drywall that had mold on it from the previous water damage. Once the tiling started, it went super quick. I love how meticulous the tile layer was; making sure tiles were equally spaced, making sure the new floor was level with existing floors, and finally, having the new thresholds match my existing pine floors. All in all they did a fantastic job, and I will definitely be using their services again on both my bathrooms.

Cost 16k.This was a rental house that I wanted to remodel and sell. I signed the contract everything was included in the price. The crew was excellent.. Respectfull, worked hard and consistent. They also cleaned up. Was very pleased with the outcome of the installation of the floor.. A young man came out to install new tile on the fireplace. The workers that installed the LVP installed over were the hearthstone was to be. I notified Yeager he said it could be fixed. The young man complete the install of new tile on the fireplace it looks beautiful, he did a very good job. But did not install a hearthstone. That was the last I heard from Mr Yeager. This is all new to me I didn't have a clue who to choose to remodel a home. I went by word of mouth. While they were installing the floor I was getting billed for removal of the toilets so they could install the LVP. It confused me. I looked through the contact and saw it was included. This was corrected. I was called to pay for the tile for the fireplace that also was included in the contract. This was corrected. I had them come and look at the hall bathroom to remodel the quote was over my budget. That's the last I heard from them. I'm not sure when it started but I noticed in the TV room the floor was popping. I would shove it down and it would stay temporarily then pop up again. Also in the bedroom it was popping other rooms looked fine. As time went on it look like a wave in the TV room. I contacted Yeager but had a hard time getting our schedule together to have someone look at the floor. It's been over a year since I contacted them I believe. I still, at that time, had not had the floors inspected by them. In the intermittent I had to have the fireplace inspected before I sold the house. The inspector couldn't pass it because the hearthstone was never installed. I contacted Yeager explained my dilemma. Weeks later they sent out a young man I explained flooring was installed over the hearthstone I need to have a hearthstone installed to pass inspection. Per the inspector the company should know a hearthstone is required in Florida. I also showed the young man from Yeager the popping floors. For the next 3/4 months I was on a goose chase with this company. It took a lot of chasing to get them to install the hearthstone about 3/4 months. They sent a young man out to install hearthstone he did a beautiful job. However prior to the worker coming out Yeager quoted I believe 900$ to install the hearthstone. I paid I believe 1600$ to replace the tile, and hearthstone so I paid for it already. I wasn't going to pay for this mistake. I had to buy the tile with my own money 150$ to complete the hearthstone which all tile was to be included in the price in the original contract. I brought it just to get the job done. I am still having issues with the floor. The young man who installed the hearthstone fixed 1 panel only and said the floor is waving due to moisture, also nailed a piece of baseboard that was separated from the wall. And off he went. The baseboard molding is a whole new story. The painters had to glue all the baseboard molding in the kitchen and TV room it all separate. The inside of the house was painted about a year after install of the LVP floors. The baseboard molding didn't hold up. I contacted by text the young man I was working with about the fireplace and asked if the flooring was covered it needs to be fixed. This was 2 months ago. I've been ghosted. No response back. So, I'm pretty frustrated at this point. I can hire a company to fix it but I'll lose the warranty. I hope your experience with their service will be better than mine. No complaints about their installers they do good work. It's when you need repair or replacement of product that concerns me

To our dismay we learned via a google search of her name she was recently sued by a previous client after she received funds and failed to complete the work. We wish this info would have surfaced sooner. It now appears we will have to do the same. I've included a few of the many messages we've exchanged. We are left feeling frustrated and cheated. We hired what we thought was a professional based on a referral from a friend who was acquainted with Tamiya's spouse (who now feels terrible) to remove the stress of decorating our home during what was a difficult time in our lives. We regret it. We now have to go through the process of going through the court process to try to recover our money. Please do your research before hiring. However, the workmanship was extremely poor, the communication almost nonexistent and the work is still incomplete. A year later we are still finding surprises. Our kitchen cabinets, while custom, were very low quality (contract states high quality). The laminate is bubbling now. The electrical was absolutely not to code, many ceiling and wall light fixtures were connected with wire nuts and shoved into the walls without proper electrical boxes (and the LED based ceiling light fixtures included a proper enclosure as part of their assembly ). One outlet under a cabinet does not work (even after an electrician came out to fix it). The electrical wiring in two other cabinets are not properly routed through electrical conduit. High voltage electrical was run through a low voltage panel and connected with electrical tape. The kitchen range hood was mounted way too high and a drawer under our stove is broken and does not close properly because it hits a gas line. They fixed the closure issue with a tight 90 degree bend in the gas line. Drawer is still broken however There are several areas unfinished or shoddily completed. We recently discovered our freestanding bathtub is not fastened rigidly to the floor. My Handyman Express has had over a year to address most of these issues, a few were discovered in the last month or so. A lawyer helped us get some attention, but many issues are still not resolved. Last thing we heard is that Carlos has not paid the cabinet people, but he also has not fixed our cabinet issues either. Instead he is blaming the cabinet makers. Which is fine, but the GC and needs to solve this for us. And besides the cabinet makers didn't do the electrical and other finishes. There's no accountability as far as I can tell.. Stay far away from this company.

Carlos started the next day on both the flooring (took 3 days) and the paint (1.5 days). We will definitely be calling Handyman Express again. Thank you for being awesome and doing such a great job while being professional. Don't question hiring him, he is laid back in a professional manner and NOT pushy.
