Bawk-B-Que Quarter pie and Quarter Honey I Shrunk the Pickle
    Liam A.

I can't speak to the service as we got the food online. However, the pizzas themselves were awesome. The Bawk-B-Que was decent but the Honey I Shrunk the Pickle was extremely good. I'd highly recommend it. All of the flavors paired very nicely and their ranch was top tier. The option to buy quarters, halves and whole pizzas was also pretty nice.

It's just phenomenal pizza. The care they put into the toppings is next level. It's not just canned pineapple, it's hand cut and drained - non-soggy pineapple. It's not just ranch, it's homemade and garlicky-ive yet to find better. They next-level every ingredient they add to your pizza. They don't skimp. Not on quality or quantity. If you like Detroit Style pizza, I'm not sure you'll find better on the West Coast.

Wow, this bad boy was serious. When they handed me this box I thought they handed me a box full of encyclopedias. To my surprise there was a pizza in there. Also to my surprise, the pizza was fantastic. It's a heavy and filling pizza. Hunker down and be ready to stuff yourself. This had everything I wanted. It's a Detroit style situation but more dense. It's the real deal. That's all I'll say. I don't need to get into much more detail (4.7 Stars)

10/10 would come back every day of the week, crispy crust and soft center. Nice service my new favorite pizza

Detroit style pizza with at least two locations, but a little bit on the higher end of pricing. I ordered online and it said it would be ready quicker than I expected, nice! You can choose quarter, half, or full pies. I got a half and half pie. "Hawaiian" split with "#4" Of course I added two ranch! I said to myself 'it better be good with this name'! It was delicious! They even hooked it up ;) much appreciated!! The pizza is phenomenal! Thick, crispy, buttery crust with quality ingredients smothering the top! Not all may love it, but the pineapple is super fresh! Watch out for the jalapeños, you are going to need that ranch! I even got a message once ready for pickup.

    Quarter #4 - DEKUM

If you don't like ranch on your pizza, Ranch will change your mind. Probably one of the best Sicilian/Detroit-style pizzas I've had in Portland. I ordered the #4 and the combo of sausage, ricotta, peppers, and basil was packed with flavor with a nice little kick of heat. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the crust was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

Hands down, the best pizza I've eaten in Portland. I almost dropped the box because of how crazy heavy the pizza was, and yet, somehow, the Sicilian-style pizza is crazy light. You can eat a ton without feeling stuffed. The sauce is rich and flavorful and it has the perfect combination of cheese. I am normally not a fan of crust, but this pizza takes all of the toppings to the edge, and, with the way it's cooked, the crust crispy, but still airy. Ironically, with this pizza, it's my favorite part! Erg, maybe it's my favorite part of the pizza specifically, because the real winner is their ranch dressing. It's insanely flavorful, and seasoned just right. It's so good, they even sell it by itself! I highly recommend you give them a try.

Picked up a pizza and it literally had NO cheese on it. We deconstructed the the entire pie, not a sliver of cheese. SO disappointing for nearly $40 bucks.

So glad I finally tried Ranch. It is rave worthy! Beware of the Calabrian peppers, maybe ask for less. The crust is perfectly crisp. Service was prompt. Thankfully went on off time and day (Wednesday evening). No one was in there, which was perfect for getting our order quickly.

This is another one of those rare reviews I write where I regret we can't give more than 5-stars! Wilder is truly one of the greatest restaurants in all of the Portland metro. Discovered on a random Saturday morning months ago, we stumbled in for a late brunch... it was a knock-your-socks off moment. First, their Benedict is absolutley delectable! We all know I'm a sucker for a good Benedict but I'll put this one in my top-3 EVER! Absolutely wonderful! Secondly, having returned multiple times for brunch, I can confidently say, you can't choose wrong from their menu! During brunch one morning, we came to the realization that Wilder offers dinner, as well! Sure enough, we were back within the week. First thing we noticed was gluten-free fried chicken... what? Who would have thought?!?! Of course, it was on the list + their Steak Tartare. I'll just say, we couldn't have ordered better. Their chicken is literally, out of this world. Having lived in the southeast of the country twice now, I feel as though I've experienced some pretty darn good fried chicken. However, the Wilder's Fried Chicken was absolutely enchanting, every bite! The Steak Tartare was served beautifully, with a yolk on top... how much better does it get? Ambiance is cozy and romantic. Bright and intimate in the mornings for brunch, dark and moody in the evenings for dinner. It strikes the perfect mood, every visit. We would be remiss not to mention their fabulous staff. Each and every member of their team is a delight. Professional, kind, friendly, and engaging. Nothing but positive interactions, every single time. Drinks are wonderful, bar staff is obviously knowledgable. Great selection of spirits and wine. Food is to die for. Staff is top-notch! Wilder has earned nothing less than a perfect 5-star rating. Truly in our Top 3 favorite restaurants in all of Portland and permanently on our weekly list of places to visit. As it has started to become our Friday "date night" spot, it certainly makes me anxious for the weekends to get here! Go enjoy, you won't regret it! Thank me later!

Special shout out to the kitchen staff for big multitasking energy: watching the game, closing out the place, and firing out some amazing food. Wilder's near-close happy hour offerings were both tasty and generous. Cocktails featured offerings from local distillers that yielded complex flavors but nothing that was "trying too hard" to be artisanal. Also Made my date's night that they were using polenta as a bun.

You would see that it's going to a motel, you would think to add the silverware. Fortunately, I was able to get silverware from my motel's breakfast room. The lumpia were very good. They were not greasy at all. They are smaller than standard eggrolls, but because they use more meat and less veggies than your standard eggroll, they pack a lot more flavor. Everything inside was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed them. They came with a vinegar based dipping sauce that I liked The "garlic Ponzu" salmon poke? No, not nearly as good. For the price they were charging, it was not a very big portion. Besides that, it just wasn't that good. A good salmon is normally pink to orange. This salmon was barely pink. I couldn't taste the garlic or the Ponzu at all. The veggies were crisp, the rice was a good quality, but there was just no seasoning. The salmon was very bland. I didn't know if it was just because of the seasoning, maybe they used a low quality or a previously, frozen salmon. I love good salmon. This was not good salmon. For the price I paid, not counting the DoorDash fees because those are added in anyway, I just felt I didn't get my moneys worth. Next time I'm in the area, I will find another place. Thanks anyway.

This is actually the first time I was at The Deck *not* with a work group (which they are also good for), so we got to try some of the better menu items. This is, of course, a place for seafood, so we got the bay shrimp cocktail (so many shrimp!) and I had the Halibut Heatwave sandwich. Both were good, as were the fries. My sweetie got the BBLT (BLT with extra bacon) which was ... two meals, really. Overall, The Deck really has the best food I've had floating from a restaurant. It's really amazing what they can produce on a houseboat, especially since they have to wheel their supplies down the same ramp you entered on. Our server was fun and really embraced the summer dining on the water spirit, with a Hawaiian shirt and matching pants, and lots of happy silly chit-chat. Pretty much all the staff were cheerful and friendly, which is my regular experience and kinda amazing when you think about how this place is only open 5 months a year. This is really what you're here for, and the ambiance of having a pint while watching the sailboats go under the 5 bridge. The food is probably 3.5 stars, but they get a 5 for service and ambiance. Some tips: Go to The Deck on a weekday, it's far less crowded. Sit on the patio if there's room and you can do it without staring into the sun (bring a hat, just in case). Parking is in the McCuddy Marina parking lot, to the *left* (right is for marina members only). Some of the "standard pub" items are lackluster (like the Caesar salad); stick to their seafood and tacos, which are much better. Also, the vegetarian/vegan options are pretty boring, unless you just want fries, which are great. Warning, though: if you are mobility-impaired, The Deck is probably not for you; the McCuddy Marina involves steep ramps and a long walk on very cluttered piers.

Fish Tacos were great, my fish was good with nice breading but a little soft and mushy inside. Good flavor though. The Cole slaw was great it was sweeter than most almost tasted like it had a little honey in it. Fries were crispy. It was a beautiful day by the water, with geese swimming and boats going by. All in all a very nice lunch.
