I ordered 4 Steak/Egg/Potato burritos. They are roughly have the size they were a few weeks ago. We tore off nearly half of the shell which was just folded to make the burrito look thicker than what it was. The price hasn't been reduced, just the amount of ingredients. Had I known it was extra for cheese on the inside and enchilada sauce on the outside I would have ordered it when getting the cheese enchilada plate-or would have gone elsewhere. I typically enjoy Rancheritos Mexican Food, I prefer other locations over this one because this one lacks consistency. I typically order the two crispy fried burritos I then cover half with red sauce and the other half with green. This usually makes for a cheap, filling, tasty meal. As I mentioned, consistency is the downfall. Some times the burritos are cooked perfect other times they are undercooked or greasy. I have tried other menu items including the Chile Verde Burrito, Asada, and the fried tacos but none have satisfied as well as the bean burritos. read more

I'm not sure why but the red sauce has gone downhill a thousand percent. Used to be good sauce in the little cups and then it went to GREAT packets of hot red sauce and loved it. The last couple times it's been back to the cups with watery af non flavored, non hot red sauce. How come? I'd pay more for y'all to fix this. Smh read more

Best SPICY Green Pork Chile I've eaten in years. Was so happy to try Rancheritos on Friday. Ordered the Pork Carnitas, Carne Enchiladas & Green Pork Chili. My husband likes the 2 crisp bean burrito plate and I always get the ham and egg burrito. We eat here about once a month. They have a salsa bar that my husband likes but the salsas are a bit too hot for me. I've tried a few other menu items and have been disappointed so I just stick with ol reliable. read more

I ordered a carne asada quesadilla. Ended up with a cheese quesadilla. Asked what they could do to fix it. They asked foR me to drive back so they could fix it. And they ended up charging me for a whoLe new quesadilla when they were the ones who messed the order up in the first place. 100% do not recommend this place. read more

I drove by and decided to stop at rancheritos. I asked for a carne asada quesadilla. I was told the total and pulled up to the window. I got my food and drove home. After opening my box to only be disappointed with just a tortilla I tried calling back to see if they could fix it. They asked for me to come back so they could make what I originally asked for. I drove back only for them to tell me I had to pay for their mistake. I asked why I was being charged for their mistake and they told me it's my fault for not double checking. Been here a few times since I moved to Syracuse from LA. The foods alright but the service desperately needs major improvements. The host and cook both have laughed at me and my wife when we order our food without any meat. There's nothing funny about choosing to eat in a healthier fashion. Also when I order my drink I received the very bottle of the jug where all the residue had been building up from all day. It taste bitter sweet and way to chalky. Still working on the getting the taste out of my mouth. Nonetheless, If the place had better customer service I'd consider giving it four star. read more

I was so happy to find real Southern California/Arizona style deep-fried shredded beef tacos here, very similar to Albertos in SoCal or Nico's Tacos in Arizona. There's really nothing like this style of taco, where they take good tender barbacoa (shredded beef), clamp it in a cornmeal tortilla, and drop it in the deep fryer until the shell is crisp. Then they open it up and put in shredded cheese and lettuce. I add salt and salsa and MMMMMMM. They also have salsa bar that includes Mexican style (not, for example, Salvadoran or other Hispanic style) picked carrots/onions/jalapenos, three kinds of homemade hot sauce, lemon pieces (lemon or lime juice goes well on tacos, for those of you that don't know) and sliced radishes. I wish they had some pico de gallo or chopped onions and cilantro too, but that's a minor quibble. The beans and rice were also decent, no complaints, but it is the tacos that make this place special. Stick to the shredded beef tacos or the rolled tacos and you can't go wrong. We were having terrible experience at this place. Service guy named on Bill Bernardo was one of inflexible person we have ever seen. We went for drive through order, first of all we shouted many times at order place where speaker was set up but no one responded so we thought same window is for order and payment. Guy came out and said i listened to you but i was busy so we asked him take our order here and you call out our name since we have already waited in queue for more 10 mins. He was not sorry , just said take a round and again go into the queue and placed the order. We placed the order 2 veg burritos and two chicken burritos then we requested him to make two bills one for 2 veg burritos and rest for other items again he refused, we haven't seen this kind of inflexibility any branch of Rancheritos. Rancheritos in Clearfield Utah never opens on time. I've been there several times after 6 a.m. and sometimes the lights are out but, you can see people in there. I've taped on the window and finally somebody comes to the window and says their grill has not been turned on yet. This was at 6:35 this morning. You lost my business, too many other places that obeys the laws of business and serves a meal you can count on being fresh and clean. If I was the owner I would watch how your staff runs the place. It needs to be cleaned up. read more
