Great Time! This is definitely a place that I would go to again. My friends and I got Groupon deals for this ranch for a 2hr ride. Alejandro had a good eye for matching us up with our horses. 3 of us had ridden before and 1 of us had never been on a horse. There were only 4 of us in the group compared to other trail rides where there are a bunch of people and it requires no skill to ride those horses. We had a blast. We didn't just walk boring trails, he had us pick up the pace in some areas, went through a river that was several feet deep and kept it exciting. It wasn't your ordinary trail ride. He also had no problems taking pictures of us and pausing if we needed a minute or if the horses needed a minute. It was a very hot day they day we went riding. I will go to this ranch again. Alejandro cared about safety, his horses and us. Overall, a positive experience. Oh and my friend who had never been on a horse said she would definitely go riding again. read more

Bought 4 tickets on Groupon a few weeks ago, left numerous voice mails (none of which were returned). Read on Yelp to text, and finally hours later got a reply. Told them we needed an appointment in May since we bought them as a birthday gift. She responded their only taking weekday rides in July and weekend rides in October. Amazing!!!! My husband and I have done the winerybhirse back riding and now this one and we wanted to take our girls so we decided to go outside of the wineries. We should have come to Rancho Bravo the first time because it was so much better than the winery. Amazing horseback riding experience. Guide was super friendly, staff are very nice, responds quickly, and trail was amazing. So we're the horses. My daughter rode Joe and he was perfect for a beginning horseback rider. They walked all of us through the steps of how to work with the horse, had a good sense of humor and just were nice as could be. Staff also recommended wonderful places to eat that were semi local. Once I left I knew I had to give a 5 star review. Alejandro was an awesome host and was very thorough. It was a little tricky to find, and I suggest to book your reservation well in advance. I should mention this establishment prefers to figure out reservation times via text as oppose to calls, which was okay. I took my gf for Valentine's day and had a great experience. They have very friendly dogs on the ranch as well that like to tag alongside the trail during the session, which was cool. Such a great experience! The drive to get there was so enjoyable. When we got there, we were instantly greeted not only by Alejandro but also by his beautiful friendly dogs! My husband and I bought Groupon deals for the rides. We came 40 min late because we got lost trying to find the place. It's actually our GPS that somehow screwed us and took us to a very remote area. We tried to call whenever we got a satellite reception (patchy reception areas), but of course, no one answered the phone. We also texted, but we got a text back offering help only when we have figured out our way to the ranch. There was over 5 mile drive on unpaved road. The couple that owned the ranch was very understanding for our late arrival and Alejandro took us for a full 1 hour ride. The ride was great and the view was beautiful. The horses were also tame. I would recommend going for the ride here if you don't mind the long drive on unpaved road. Also, they don't have any restrooms, so make sure you use one before going to the ranch. read more

I bought the moonlight ride for a friends birthday and was a little nervous as most stables offering trail rides do not let you trot or cantor. I first booked the ride with Lisa who was really nice and informative and assured me if we were experienced we would be able to trot and cantor. When we arrived we were met by Alejandro (the owner) his wife Lisa was they and was so friendly she was kind enought to let us pose and take pictures with the horses. I can't say enough about the ride , it was magical. Alejandro was so friendly and informative and very relaxed and seemed to be truly enjoying the ride as well. Once he assesed our riding level and was comfortable with our control of the horses he let us trot and cantor. The horses were wonderfully trained and you could tell they were well cared for. My daughter (11, not much experience on horses) and I went for a sunset ride and had such a great time. The scenery was beautiful with trees, flowers, a lake, some egrets, and of course the sun setting behind the hills. The owners were very nice and accommodating and gentle with their animals. It was easy for my daughter to relax and trust our guide and she was trotting before it was all over, tho' she at first didn't want to. He didn't take anyone past their comfort or skill level and knew the numerous trails around. The horses were not spooked by anything, an owl we saw, a coyote...very well trained and gentle. I feel I need to warn some people about this place. I liked my guide and the horses but we rode up and over this HUGE BOULDER ROCK about 15X20 in length that the trail ended but you had to go up and over this rock to continue on the trail. I was leary and should have spoken up that this didn't look safe! We'll, my horse slipped on this sandy rock and fell to his knees and I was leaning towards to go up the rock and fell off and broke my wrist really badly, since I landed on a ROCK!!! I'm just lucky now that I look back that I didn't die or get a HEAD INJURY bcuz I was not wearing a helmet. I would have enjoyed my ride if this didn't happen. I had to have surgery May 20th 2016 from this accident. I'm still suffering to this day! I have a plate with 8 screws that holds my wrist together now! This accident should have never of happened to me!!! I just wish he'd taken me on a much safer trail ride. I worry for all the beginning and experience riders. I been a horse owner for 18 yrs and never been hurt like this! My horses passed away in 2000 and 2001. Anyone else been hurt on this rock? read more

She spent the time to give us a training on proper riding and this 15-20 minute training did not deduct from the ride time. Awesome trails, even went through a 3ft deep river. A friend and I purchased this activity on groupon and I'm so glad we picked Rancho Bravo in comparison to the other horseback rides available. This seems to me like a family business located on their property. Regardless of that, they were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating to our beginners needs. After we were given basic training, we were off into our ride. The ride is through the hills in Perris and it was beautiful and fun. There were inclines and lakes to ride through, there was never any pressure to speed up or slow down, it was nice that our guide was just that, a guide and not a babysitter. He was kind enough to take photos of us at an amazing viewpoint. The ride was incredible and all the animals on the property were so obviously loved and treated well with the cutest names EVER! I purchased a Groupon for this place on September 6th the first dates they had wasn't until October 19th so I set the time with them via text to get there first slot the had, I even up sold them to a friend and bought another one so she could go with me. Today I received a text informing me that they had to cancel my ride due to "wind". I'm super pissed that they would cancel 16 hours prior to my ride as a consumer if i would have canceled so closely I would be out of my money however it's ok for them to do so. What a great experience! I purchased a two hour trail ride certificate for two through a discount offering service. As the expiration date drew near, we contacted Rancho Bravo to set up an appointment. Soon after, I sustained a back injury, which would prevent me from riding, so we called Rancho to see what could be done. They were unbelievably accommodating and said they wanted me to get better first, and they would honor the certificate, even if it passed the expiration date. WOW! Talk about customer service! When we finally got to go, it was a fantastic day. (I want to get the only negative thing out of the way first. The Porta Potty was horrible. Dirty, dusty, etc. That said, on with the good stuff). We were met by Alejandro and several super friendly dogs. Alejandro determined our experience level (minimal), and explained the personalities of the horses he had ready for us. He let us decide which horse we wanted to ride, so we would feel the most comfortable. After a short lesson as to how to control the horse, so we wouldn't cause the horse or us discomfort, off we went. The trails are just that...trails, which was fantastic. We go riding about once a year at various locations, and usually the trails are flat, wide, and boring. This was the best ever, with trails that were narrow, wide, up hill, down hill, curvy...you name it, and the scenery was exceptional. Occasionally, Alejandro would offer gentle, humorous reminders about how to handle the horse and get the most out of the ride. We took a break or two and Alejandro took several pictures for us, which he offered to do before we even asked. It was only the three of us which gave us an opportunity to talk to Alejandro along the way. He is a wonderful man with a wonderful family. Riding with him we felt like we riding with a friend. There is no doubt we will be returning to Rancho Bravo. If you're considering a place to ride, you absolutely will be happy here. Don't waste your time going somewhere else. read more

Sounds like a great place but we wouldn't know as our horse riding adventure never came to be. Bought our vouchers end of June 2016 and called the phone number on their website...the one clearly stated to call to book a ride (as we prefer to speak to a live person). Call was never returned even after calling a second time. Finally reached someone via text message. Booked a date and time for December...December! After reading the reviews, we thought it would be worth the wait. After eagerly waiting for 6 months, less than 24 hours prior to our ride time, we receive a text message stating our appointment was cancelled due to a family emergency. Please know that we completely understand that family takes precedence over all else and we truly hope all is well. But when we texted back to reschedule, we were offered a couple of dates to choose from...in March or April 2017! We will now be requesting a refund from Groupon. We had a great time and experience at Rancho Bravo for my daughter's birthday, our ride was on Feb. 26, 2014 at 12:00pm, our guide was Dominique. Our group was myself my 10yr old daughter, 8yr old niece, and 16yr old niece. We were greeted when we walked up by Alejandro who was very nice and answered any questions I had. We were matched up with the horses by Dominique, then had a short lesson when we were comfortable we were on our way for our 2hr. ride. I chose Rancho Bravo through Groupon and reviewed them before I purchased and was really impressed with all the great reviews and the price $25 for 2hr ride was amazing, I could never find that price in Orange County, and I really wanted the country feel not a city one in OC. The horses were great and easy to handle, well trained for the trail ride. They seamed all healthy and well cared for. The scenery was beautiful and so peaceful, we enjoyed riding through small streams and up and down hills and the view was beautiful. Dominique was so good at making us feel comfortable through out the ride especially going up and down the hills, it was the first horseback riding experience for all of us and Dominique helped us feel confidant, some of the hills were a little scary to me and a little bit to the girls but her confidence made us feel we could do it and we were happy we did, it felt like we were riding at a friends ranch. I loved the family feel of the ranch. It was more than we expected and would recommend Rancho Bravo and Dominique, definitely worth It. Great memories were made!!! read more

Rancho bravo left my family with memories alright unfortunately they are bad memories. After purchasing a discount packet from Groupon. We called several times to make a reservation with no success. Finally my wife was able to get through via text. Lisa sent my wife a text setting our reservation for sat Feb 23. My wife and I & our 2 children traveled all the way from the high desert to Perris 73 miles one way for what we thought would be a great time. When we arrived there was nobody there to help us so we waited after about an hour of waiting a man came out of a house in the distance and drove over to us. He asked if we were there for a horse riding reservation and we said yes. He asked for our name and told us he had no reservation for us. My wife showed him the text that Lisa sent us giving us that reservation and he said he would check to see what happened. This man then decides to walk back to the house wasting more time. Comes back about 20 min later and basically said they made a mistake too bad so sad come back another day. We express to him how far we drove and he seemed not to care. Rancho bravo made no attempt to accommodate us they just wanted us to leave and come back another day. The whole experience was unprofessional on their part and no we will not go back another day. I called groupon the following Monday and was giving my money back. My family will be going horseback riding at a place in Norco CA in 2 weeks read more
