Considering he does get paid by the hour, I am sure some time was wasted or the process was slower because of this (= extra $). I don't think that this is intentional but a natural consequence of working side by side with anyone for an extended amount of time. He got us excited about wanting to come to class each week and always kept us on our toes - challenging us to be the best students we can be. Fast forward 20 years later and I still have fond memories of him as someone who is committed to helping students achieve their full potential. So much so, that I recommended him to my girlfriend, who needed math tutoring for her teenage son. Within a month, Dale had brought him back from the brink of failing geometry. He ultimately wound up with a high mark in the course.
