received a promotional in January on Facebook and purchased used car that was not anywhere close to promotional promises and had tire sensor light on and salesman Ray made promise to repair. I came in following week to cancel extended warranty and ask about sensor repair and Salesman Ray said he would call me to set up. Finance guy on vacation and couldn't cancel extended warranty. I went get oil changed and apparently Salesman Ray as well as Randal Ford decided that it had taken me to long to bring car in and they would no longer honor agreement to fix sensor. We were on vacation in the Fy Smith area, and came in for service on my F-350 diesel. While I was there I suffered a medical emergency. The staff of the dealership was awsome. They called an ambulance, and i was whisked off to the hospital. One of the dealership managers named Dave, assisted my wife in finding the hospital, and rode there with her. Communication is terrible!! We were told that we would get an update on our vehicle and no call. Our vehicle has been at the service department for over 2 weeks and we have had to call just for updates. My husband had to grab something from the vehicle before it got worked on and he waited for over 20mins for a guy to walk him back to get his things...he even told my husband that he shouldn't have had to wait that long. We scheduled our hail repair back in May of this year for September 6th. My wife and I took off work only to find out that the paperwork was misplaced and none of the parts where available. Re-scheduled two more times.... Dropped it off on the 20th and called only to find out it will be another week before it is finished. Very Disappointing!!! Update - 10/3 - wife's been calling all day to get some type of update on our car... We ended up here after our radiator started leaking and the truck was having engine issues. Not sure if it really takes 10 and 1/2 to run a diagnostic on an obvious leaking radiator and to identify a misfiring spark plug/coil and complete repairs. Took them over three hours to tell me my radiator was leaking and needed a replacement. At least they could have ordered it sooner instead of waiting until lunch time to tell me and ask me if I want to proceed with the repairs. Very slow service here. I came in at 7am and we didn't get out until almost 5:30pm. Charles the service person handling the job told me that they had a few cars left over from the previous day that needed service. I told him that should of been communicated to me when we came in at 7am. We watched as every other customer that came in for service come and went for the entire day. Another concerning issue was I requested the works package for the oil change and they did not produce any paper work or evidence of the service. It was on the bill and it was after I paid for the repair bill when I inquired "where is the standard form used by quicklane service as provided my Ford motor company?" This is the form to tell me what was done and to report recommended future preventative maintenance. The adviser on duty was not able to provide it upon request. This is a standard form that I and all customers recieve from quicklane services. I have always recieved this form at every other Ford dealership around the United States when at home or traveling on the road. They even provide this form and report in Alaska! They had to take my truck back to the service bay to "redo" the works package. Also I reported that my rear left tail light was out and that it should of of been reported in the "original" the works package report or asked if I wanted it repaired along with the two other issues. If I had not said anything it would have gone undone. Why am I telling people how to do their jobs? As I left I asked Charles Arron if the radiator was a Ford radiator and he said yes. But somehow after looking at the radiator after i left and examining the numbers on them I got a different report. It looks like an after market radiator and I was charged $225 for the part but it came up online for on average $155. See the photos for yourself and decide. Feedback will be greatly appreciated to confirm my concern. Agian the main issues are lack of clear communication and updates. Extremely slow service and feedback. I had to get up from our "comfortable" seats to get regular updates. Appears to be a issue of poor time management and communication from the front desk to service bay/building. Questionable concerns if the service I paid for was rendered, honestly done and correct. Im concerned if we were given the the "out of towners special". There are other issues that I will refrain from disclosing at this time and must also be considered. read more

Randall Ford in Ft Smith is such a crock. I bought a car from them in 2009 and it was a wonderful experience, this time has been complete bull shit. My husband bought a Jeep from them 5 months ago, we bring it to the shop with an appointment 18 days ago because you had to fight to keep it on the road the front end was so messed up. The first week, we hear nothing. So we call a couple of times and keep getting the run around. Our service advisor is out with the flu, no one else knows what's going on, they have no information for us. Each time they will look into it and call us back. But they never call back. So we finally call and speak to the owner, the GM. After being on hold with him for over half an hour, he finally tells us that they have done nothing to our Jeep and have no idea what is wrong. Seriously?? We wouldn't be paying for the vehicle if we didn't need it! So he will do more research and call us back on Monday.... Monday comes around, and the front end has to be rebuilt, but they haven't started. Then they try to charge us for everything. No, this is all under warranty. So then they change their story and not so much needs immediate attention. Fast forward from Monday to Friday and they call and say the Jeep is done. They had to replace the front ball joints, the steering stabilizer, the tie rods, the axle seals, and even the shocks and the lift kit because it had been Jerry rigged. We come in on Monday to pick it up and they haven't finished the paperwork. We leave and give them another hour while we go to lunch. We come back and they have been helping other customers so it has yet to be completed. We are standing there waiting for our stuff done and I kid you not, the guy calls another customer to work with him instead of helping us. REALLY???!?! We got the paperwork and they hadn't fixed half the stuff they told us was wrong. So 18 days later we walk out with a partially fixed Jeep and the GM literally telling me he did us a favor to fix what he did. NEVER again will I step foot on that lot. And I hope no one else ever goes through what we did. read more

Do NOT go to this Dealership!!!!! I absolutely do not recommend taking any car/truck/SUV to their repair shop. I took my SUV into the dealership due to breaking problems. A dealership had to fix a control module that Phoenix Tire diagnosed. Randall Ford lied and charged for extra parts that didn't need to be replaced. They tried to charge for a diagnoses that I already had. Lied on the paperwork saying they improved the problems but did not. Staff also stated that I could not drive my vehicle that it was unsafe. Other break certified techs stated that it was safe. There were several other problems that occurred and I picked up my car without it being fixed. It makes you think it they rip you off with fixing a car what will they do if you purchase one? read more

When given the info that anyone could start my truck with a screwdriver, best they could say was they "might" be able to work it in in a week or so. Terrible dealership! I will never consider going back nor will I ever refer business to them. In March of 2014 I purchased a used 2013 Ford F150 4x4 and an extended warranty. The truck had 22k miles and I was sold a Premium 60month/100k mile ext. warranty. The dealer had installed a 6" lift at a shop of their choosing. About a month after purchase the front suspension assembly started to rattle. Within a day the truck was almost impossible to handle. I took it to another local dealer (McLarty Daniel) who found all of the bolts were loose. They told me that they were supposed to be retorqued after 1000 miles and (understandably) wanted to charge me to do the work. I reached out to Randall Ford to follow up, because they failed to give me this extremely important information, and they demanded that I bring the truck to them to fix it. Thats a one hour drive. After finally getting them to realize this was a total liability and they were putting mine and my families safety in jeopardy, they agreed to cut a check. Problem solved with the front end! The truck currently has 59k miles and a year and a half of the coverage. I have yet to even use the warranty. Now that I have recently sold the truck, I sent in a warranty cancelation form for the remainder. They sent me a check for $180. After breaking down the math this didnt seem correct. I reached out to the finance department to get a better understanding of the situation and spoke with Nathan in financing. He told me that he sold me a predated warranty that started at the time of Origional purchase. Note: Zero miles Naturally I was confused, because I was sold a Premium 60month/100k mile warranty. I tried to make it clear to him that he never disclosed this bit of the information to My Wife or I. Essentially he called us both LIARS! I reached out to the GM (Bradford Randall) and got the same response. I tried to explain the situation as it happened: I was origionallly offered a more expensve warranty that was $1000 dollars and 72months/120k miles, but this put me over the amount I wanted to pay per month. So, he offered me a plan with less coverage in time/miles. He never stated the most important thing, the fact that this warranty satrted at the origional purchase date (Over a year and 22k miles before I purchased the vehicle. The first time I talked to Mr. Randall he agreed that I was correct and offered to pay the differance. After realizing they owed me and additional $500. He called me back and told me that he was not going to honor his previous agreement. These guys are Liars and Cheats! Buyers Beware!! read more

This is a good dealership and my MIL recently bought a truck from them; which we all really like. However, my friends husband worked for them for 3 days (he thought he wanted to be a salesmen, but decided it wasn't the type of job for him) and they promised him his paycheck on February 15th, but after dropping by three different times on 2-15, he was finally told that the payroll checks would not be ready until Friday, 2-17. No explanation was offered and the payroll lady, was rude about it! Long story short, he finally did receive his payroll check on Friday, 2-17-12, but it is just one of those things that makes me go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Just had a Great experience with Randall Ford!!! After spending a month looking at every car dealership (12?) in the NWA area (Ft Smith to Bentonville), a family member recommended Randall Ford. They were positive, helpful, let us take all the time in the world and offered us a great deal. (I was probably not the easiest customer as I wasn't all that committed to Ford , having been a Toyota fan for 15 years). But after looking at all the features of the new Ford cars, the warranty and maintenance guarantees, the great gas mileage and crunching the numbers, they gave us a great car at a great price. I would recommend Randall Ford to anyone looking for their first car to their 7th car. In 10 years, when I am ready to look at cars again, will definitely be going back to Randall Ford!!! read more

When we called to get an appointment for an oil change, the service employee wouldn't let us make one. When we took the car in, the first thing they said was "oh you don't have an appointment?" The service emp,item also failed to mention the service department was temporarily located elsewhere whole renovations were being made. THIS DEALERSHIP IS VERY VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY AND WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA AND WILL TELL YOU A BOLD FACE LIE TO YOUR FACE WHEN THEY DO IT..... I took my ford f-150 pickup to do electrical problems. the radio and the drivers door window will not work at the most inappropriate times. talk to many mechanics and they told me it was the body control module (BCM). I went to the dealership and asked parts how much everything was going to cost, then went to service and see how much it was going to cost for installation. I wanted to make sure I was spending prior to taking the truck in, (the reason I had to take it to the dealership was because the ford dealership had to program the BCM. First!!!! the service person had no idea of what I needed, I had to talk to the service manager and he was giving me a line of bullshit that I needed an electrical diagnostic first ($99.95 for the first hour and they would stop there, to talk to me). I decided to for go the diagnostic and just wanted to have them install and program the BCM. I went back and talked to the service person and asked them how much and how many hours it was going to take. He told me it was going to be 2 hours with a cost of $250.00. While I was scheduling the appointment the service the service manager and the service tech talked in front of me and said that it was going to be four hours service time, BOLD FACE LIE #1. I had to take the truck in, they had a live feed camera of the service area, well it did take 4 hours alright, I was watching the service tech sitting on a chair reading a newspaper, I asked what was going on, he said they were programing the BCM, I had a problem with that answer. the service tech came to the waiting area to get coffee and I asked him what was going on with the truck and he said it was finished but was told to make sure it took three hours. I asked the same question when the service person was in front of both of us and he said they had to make sure there was nothing with the programing, (BOLD FACE LIE #2). When I got my truck back I still was having problems. Was told that it would take another hour and the cost was going to be $125. Well what they forgot was that I already paid which put everything under warranty. I immediately wanted the general manager, when he came and told him why I was so pissed, he was not on my side and pretty much said it is what it is. I finally got my truck somewhat fixed and left, With it not working properly. the initial cost: Part was $350 (BCM), installation: 2 hours $250 when I had no choice!!!! the final cost: Part was $350 (BCM), installation: 3 hours $650 I got violated by Randall ford and not including a reach around, it would probably cost 4 hours and $1000. so I still have to get it working properly. which will cost who knows what... this is my fist post of my experience with Randall Ford..... read more

Took my two month old company car in to have the oil changed. It came back with greasy hand prints on the front and side of the car. Plus we noticed it leaking oil on the driverway. I bought a vehicle on May 25, 2018 upon purchase I was assured everything wrong would be fixed. They kept vehicle for 24 days and vehicle was not fixed. Owner assured me he would take care of it and I would be given a rental at no expense to me. I get dropped off at enterprise then as I am picking up my rental they wanted me to pay for deposit and secure account with my card, which I refused to do. The dealership manager then got frustrated with me because I demanded to be picked up and given back my vehicle until this could be sorted out. After I pick up my vehicle the manager will not take my calls and my vehicle is still not fixed. There has been zero honesty from the beginning of my purchase. I really think I would consider purchasing elsewhere. My vehicle had wheel bearings out, brake issues, tire issue, a/c issues, transmission issues, and various other issues. I did purchase extended warranty, but this was issues to be fixed as agreed upon. I just feel like there is a lack of integrity here. read more

Absolutely the worst service you can get!!! They screwed up my brakes. They replaced all the parts free of charge as they should have for their mess up!! It took them 6 hours and told me it would only take 2. Go forward 4 weeks and the brakes start squealing. I had and appointment to have it check out and it took them 3 hours to check the brakes!! I got my oil changed, tires rotated, and a new air filter put in today. It took around 1 1/2 hours. I had a free oil change and a $10 credit on my account because I had recently purchased my car from them. Which means that I only paid for an air filter. The air filter was only supposed to be $23.99. My total after taxes was $29.95. I could tell immediately that something wasn't right and upon further review of my bill I discovered that they were trying to charge me $3.50 sales tax and a $1.95 materials charge. Now I could live with the materials charge, but even after factoring in the materials charge my total before taxes was $25.94 which would make my sales tax no more than $2.59. When I brought this up to the clerk I was informed that they couldn't change it and that I would have to overpay for my sales tax. In all reality, they also ripped me off for the air filter long before this free oil change because they said they replaced the air filter when I purchased the vehicle and that was only 5,000 miles ago. They even left their dirty floor cover in my car. This establishment has been going downhill for a while now and will RIP YOU OFF in a heartbeat if you give them the opportunity. read more
