So many negative experiences here. DONT GO HERE!! Initially, we called and asked if they charged to diagnose a problem. They said no. This was the whole reason we went to them in the first place. Took my car in on a Tuesday. Called Wednesday and they said they were "looking at it now." And then they called a few hours later asking how to start my car (it's a wonky start, I will admit that), so obviously they lied about "looking at it now". Thursday I called again and they said they were "looking at it now. We'll call by the end of the day." Friday I called and said I needed my car back. He started with "what the hell did you do to your car" before backtracking and saying he had the wrong file. He then quoted me $1400 just to replace the water pump, not including any other issue I had (a belt needed replaced and the wonky start). He was extremely put out by the fact that I had a wonky start. I ended up saying that I just couldn't afford $1400 for a repair and then he said I needed to pay a diagnostic fee of $200-something. The whole reason we went to him was because he said he didnt do a diagnostic fee. It absolutely felt like it was an annoyance fee for the wonky start. I compared a price elsewhere for the water pump and labor and everything and they quoted $600-ish. So not only was it extremely delayed service, (someone else even came in while I was picking up my car asking if they had looked at his car yet and they told him they didnt know cuz the guy was at lunch), but it was extreme price gouging and unprofessionalism overall. Also, they claimed they broke a pin in my dash and that they were taking responsibility of it and they would call to let me know when to come back for them to replace it. Its been weeks now and no call. Somehow they also broke my radio, it wont stay on. When they sent their "hows everything with your car" follow-up text, i told them about it they just responded "might be a fuse" except that the radio turns on, it just wont stay on. UPDATE: took my car to a real mechanic and one of the issues was that after I had picked my car up from Randall's, the brake light kept coming on and flickering. I called and they told me a sensor was bad. WRONG. They had actually put the brake line wires on backwards when they were changing my brakes! Also Randalls had told me when I picked up my car that my donut gasket was gone and I'd need to order a new one so they could replace that. WRONG AGAIN. What it really was, was that my gasket was LOOSE and leaking exhaust. Seriously. Stay away from Randall's. They will take advantage of you and lie and rip you off as much as they can. They should be investigated for such fraud. read more

Do not bring your car here. I had Randall's do a lot of work to my 2019 C63s. I got a transmission flush, new fluids, come to find out after I bring it to Mercedes Benz of mobile the car was about 5 liters low on fluids which caused my transmission to overheat and blow. Randall sent me a bill for $12,000 to get it fixed. Luckily I was able to tell some people at Mercedes Benz of mobile what happened and they diagnosed it right away and assured me the previous mechanics did not do their job properly. My transmission pan was also hand tightened and loose. It's amateur hour over at Randall's do not bring your car here! Save yourself a headache and money. read more

We brought our car to this establishment for repair. While our car was on their property in their care, it was damaged. They told us we needed to then take the car to MAACO body shop for a repair quote. My husband took off work and trailored the car over to MAACO. MAACO gave us a quote to repair the damage. My husband then contacted the owner with this quote. The owner did not want to pay for the amount quoted and instead low balled us with an amount well below the costs to repair the damage incurred on their property. Since this discussion, the owner has been conveniently "unavailable" when we've called back to discuss further to come to a resolution. We are reasonable people who just want our car to be restored to the condition it was in when we dropped it off. You would think a company that caters to luxury cars wouldn't have an problem rectifying this issue, yet here we are. read more

If I can save one more customer than it's worth it... this is a long post but worth the read. The company thinks it's okay to have their employees threaten customers. TLDR: I waited 57 days days for this work to replace some AC lines/ transmission mounts Randall's Autohaus. The story: On 5/19/2022 my transmission was replaced by Randall's Autohaus. On 06/16/2022 I took my car back to Randall's Autohaus for a popping sound while shifting. They put the car on a lift and the mechanic and I found that one of the bolts on the transmission mount had sheared off but the other bolt was still intact. The mechanic tightened the remaining bolt and advised me "The car should be okay to drive with the one bolt and you can bring the car back at a later time". The repair shop has a CCTV system that proves the encounter. Then on 06/22/20 (6 days later) I was driving my car to work, my coworker (Dakota Havens) was driving behind me, and while crossing the intersection the bracket sheared completely off. I pulled my car into a parking lot to investigate and he pulled in behind me saying "I heard something fall of your car." I went back to the intersection and found the transmission mount on the ground. I took the vehicle back to the shop and was provided a quote for the damages and a call from the shop saying "I shouldn't have listened to the mechanic instead I should have talked to management first." The shop and I came to an agreement that I will pay for the parts and they will pay for the labor even though the damages should have been covered by the shop warranty, as stated on the first receipt, from the transmission being replaced by this shop "WARRANTY PERIOD IS 2 YEARS/24000 MILES WHICH EVER OCCURS FIRST." I approved the repairs and paid for the repairs fully on 07/27/2022. It took the shop from the time I dropped the car off on 06/22/2022 until 07/27/2022 (35 days) to even tell me what repairs were needed. (Please refer to the shop receipts I have provided of when the parts were ordered and received.) I then called the shop daily and asked for updates and they would consistently tell me it'll be done by the end of the week. On 08/08/22, I was told the wrong bushings were ordered and the correct ones would be here the next day, only to learn that was just an excuse to not work on the car as they were unable to provide the receipt/order. The repairs were finally completed on 8/18/2022. It took them from 06/22/2022 to 08/18/2022 (57 days) to complete the repairs, which is unacceptable. They took their time because it was warranty work and they were pissed at me for breaking off those bolts. (Providing free labor due to being "warranty" work.) I am attaching receipts from all the parts, and receipts from both jobs. read more

Can't really be trusted on quality and honesty. Went in with a boost problem on sprinter in limp mode. Charged me 1hr to tell me nothing was wrong. While looking at the engine I saw slit in hose. Was told nothing came out of it when they ran the engine but if I felt better I could tape it up. I did and it whistled like a flute. They should have know it required boost power before anything would go in that hose! When I left, the AC didn't work anymore. It was working fine all the way up from Florida and prior to arriving there. Don't trust they didn't put a screwdriver in the condenser. Claimed it was a rock!!! Then the tech lost a clip. He couldn't find it. He ended up zip tying the connector. Now my turn signal is not working. They also failed to replace the AC port covers. I contacted them and they blew me off. These guys have bare minimum skill employees with no idea what they're doing putting their hands on high end cars. They didn't install my suspension correctly and I'm not sure if my car will be totaled out or not. The tech even openly admitted he didn't know what coilovers were. That's a very common suspension used on these euro performance vehicles. They have less than lube tech level technicians changing suspension and steering components incorrectly on high end performance vehicles. Legitimately putting your life on the line using this place. All because the owner is greedy and doesn't want to pay high end mechanics to work on high end vehicles. He's also spamming customers and employees for 5 star google reviews every time he gets a negative review. read more

Great service! They take longer but take the time to do it right and do for the right price. If you're not in a hurry. They can do it fast but you paying for the rush job but still do great job! Such a nice staff/employees. I just drop it off and they call me when done and pay for them. No complaints so far. FYI it comes up pretty fast and the left hand turn is after the car wash place. They also honor CarMax repairs if you are under warranty and don't want to hit up CarMax north of I10 versus off east pass road. Use top of line/oem products for vehicles. read more

Randall's Autohaus 2160 E Pass Rd Gulfport MS 39507 Randall's Autohaus: I am writing in concern to repairs made by your facility for my 2004 Porsche Cayenne starting Feb 22nd 2022. I retrieved the cayenne from your facility on 3-1-2022. I have attached a copy of the sale receipt detailing work performed during the time you had the vehicle. This included: 1. Oil Service 2. Remove and replace expansion tank 3. Remove replace driver side window regulator 4. Replace fuel door actuator 5. Remove and replace disc brake rotors and pads 6. Repair vacuum leak in brake booster line. At the time of pickup on 3-1-2022 I learned that the driver's door was not opening from the inside due to a cable broken during the window regulator repair and that the fuel door actuator was not working due to a bad switch. These where to be repaired on a future visit once parts were received. (Driver door cable was repaired by you on March 11th) After I left your facility on 3-1-2022, I received a brake booster warning not more than 5 minutes after leaving indicating the vacuum leak was still existing. I then stopped to purchase fuel, and when I used the emergency fuel door release, the entire fuel actuator assembles fell apart and the emergency pull strap came completely off the newly installed actuator. I immediately left a message on your website concerning these issues as I was unable to reach you by phone. On March 7th, I called to check on the status of the door cables and spoke to Jarrod. I asked if he read my message concerning repair issues and I then again relayed the issues I was having concerning the fuel door actuator and brake booster vacuum. On March 10th, I received a call from Jarrod letting me know the door cable was in. At this time, I let Jarrod know the splash shield below the engine came off the rear support bracket as your mechanic failed to replace the two mounting bolts in the middle of the shield after the oil service performed at your facility. After your facility made the repair to the driver's door cable on March 11th, the car was returned to me. We had just detailed the Cayenne, so I knew it was clean. Upon return, I had to clean black oil and grime from the door panels and carpet. This was the last straw for me. I made the decision to make the repairs to the vacuum line and fuel door actuator myself. The actuator had to be replaced because the spring that is included for the release pin was lost when the assembly came apart after your installation. The cost of the new fuel door was $32.09. I expect a refund on the 3 hours labor cost charged to me on the faulty repairs. 2 hours for the fuel door and one hour for the brake booster vacuum line repair plus the cost to replace the actuator again. I am forgoing the repair to the splash shield and loss of use due to your faulty repairs provided you compensate me for the damages caused by your facility. The total $422.09 should be made to me by 5-1-2022 read more

As others have stated, Randall is a crook. I took my MB there for alignment, along with copies of the appropriate pages form the factory manual. When they said it was done, they showed me the pretty computer printout with before and after. There was some improvement in the front end, but the rear was still in red, for being out of spec. He lied to me and told me the rear was not adjustable. I've changed the rear 5 link suspension on several 124/210 Mercedes, and they have eccentric bolts to adjust. He consented to take me out and "show me" it was not adjustable. I showed him the eccentric bolts for adjustment, and he lied to me again, and told me it was not adjustable. At that point it was useless to try to argue with the thief and liar. I paid him, took the car and left. I took to to a real shop that mostly works on American cars, and they did an excellent alignment. Avoid Randall's autohaus He is a liar and a thief. Don't believe the fake good reviews. read more

Awesome shop. excellent BMW/Porsche mechanic. I brought my old M Roadster in for a broken valve timing pump and he caught a stripped out oil drain plug from a previous shop and even figured out I needed a valve timing adjustment because my M engine was about to grenade. Randall's literally saved my engine and earned my loyalty. Next visit, the mechanic actually communicated with me and through a conversation about my repair history at other shops, we figured out how to fix a valve cover leak that had been plaguing me since I bought the car 5 years ago and no more smoking engine and oil puddles on my garage floor! The car runs like new... So grateful. Five stars. read more

When I took my Sprinter in for diagnosis for a boost limp mode issue, they told me I had timing chain issue and would cost me 4K to replace but, recommended me to install a used motor. I went elsewhere to get a second opinion and it end up being a bad pcm tune. Re-tuned the pcm and it's running awesome again. I'm sure they can do simple maintenance on sprinters, but diagnosing issues, they are limited imo. read more

No option for zero stars, they don't even deserve 1 star. I was sent here by CARMAX for warranty repair of my windshield wipers not working. They ended up crushing my windshield in the lower left corner because they don't even know how to perform the most basic of procedures like removing windshield wiper arms. To make it worse, Their first instinct was crooked and tried to act like my windshield was already broken,.. They eventually owned up to it and said they would replace the windshield, Yeahyyy... but their price to replace the wiper motor over $500 was absurd because they were trying to pass the cost of the windshield they broke on to me and CARMAX Warranty, So, I called their bluff and told them not to do the original wiper repair because their price was too high. So what do they do? They try another way to pass the cost of a new windshield on to me, citing a bogus 2 hour diagnostic of the wiper motor,. It doesn't take 2 hours to diagnose an inoperable windshield wiper motor unless you are incompetent and can't even get the windshield wiper arms off, eventually crushing the windshield in the process, then spend another hour trying to figure out how to cover it up and wizzle your way out of the cost to repair. Basically they wanted me to pay for their 2 hours of incompetence, so they didn't have to... This place has successfully violated every rule and ethic in customer service and business. They had my car for 4 weeks, randalls excuse to why they were taking so long was because they wanted it done right, well I finally got my car back and not even 30 miles later it broke down again because of their mistake. Randall is a crook! Stay away! It all started when I was driving and I had a check engine light come on. So when I plugged in my scanner, I got 1 code that read P12A2 - Fuel Rail Pressure Inappropriately high. This code was brand new and it was my first time seeing it come up. I took my car in 06JAN20 to get it checked out. I had received a call back saying that I had a cracked vacuum hose and authorized them to replace it. In only a few days after, I was told that my vehicle was good to go and ready to pickup. As soon as I went to the front desk, they had charged me for a bunch of extra things I never told them about. Nor did I sign for any of it to be done. Something that would've only been a couple hundred dollars, came out to $1,639.75. They told me that I had to pay, so I didn't really have any other choice since that was my only form of transportation. So I paid with my credit card, and drove back on base. I haven't used it for much since I wanted to make sure it handled well. 2 days later as I was going to get food after class, my car just starts violently shaking. It felt like I had a blowout, or one of my rims were about to come off. I freaked out and pulled over to the side of the road. read more

I had a problem with my Audi having phantom problems with it not starting and then miraculously it would start . I thought it was the the battery, the ignition system and various other things. I have been troubleshooting this car myself for years and tried to do multitude of fixes myself. Randall and his nephew were able to track it down to a faulty computer module throwing random problem codes that killed the ignition. They sent the module out for a rebuild and did the reinstall. I've had the car back about six months now and there are zero problems to report. I feel it's reliable again. Outstanding job. read more

Zero stars! DO NOT TAKE ANY CAR HERE! SCAM! Randal is a horrible business owner! I called and asked for a quote for a dual mass flywheel for a 2012 vw TDI diesel. He quoted me over the phone $1500-$2000. Randall listened to the car and said ok we will get it fixed. I dropped it off and asked for a price for the timing belt. He said another 2K I said "no thanks not right now." Let's just do the dual mass flywheel. He said it would take about 3-4 days to complete. I called 4 days later and it wasn't done. He said call back Friday. I called back 2 days later and he said it would be done Monday. I asked how much was the total. He said $4700. I was in shock. I asked what part they replaced and he said clutch and timing belt. I didn't asked for either of these parts. I asked to talk to the manager Randall. He said he would call me back. I called back 15 minutes later and said I didn't ask for a timing belt and I did not authorize it. He said well what do you want to do. I said I don't know but I'm not paying 4700. I asked how much the clutch was and he said 2700. I said ok I'll pay 3k. When I picked up the car I assumed that he replaced the clutch instead of the dual mass flywheel because he knew what he was doing and that would fix the clicking noise I had. Well I picked up the car and they charged me 3k PLUS tax so $3200. Keep in mind I said I would pay 3k and I was quoted $1500-$2000. A few days later I noticed the noise. Dropped the car back off and he said the fan was hitting a piece of the skid plate. Lies lies lies. He said it was ready to be picked up. My wife picked it up because I was out of town. A day later it was still making the noise. Called again and I said why did you replace the clutch when I asked for a dual mass flywheel. He said the clutch kit included the flywheel. This was more lies and more cover up because Randal runs a poor business. I called VW and sent Randall pictures of a clutch kit and pictures of the flywheel. After arguing he finally agree that the flywheel and clutch are deprecate parts and agreed to fix it. I went to the shop and Randall said he couldn't hear the noise. Weird because the tech, my wife and I could all hear it. He keep walking away and yelling at me. He would not stand still, admit he installed the wrong parts, admit he. Charged be $3200 for something that should have cost $1500! Since he quoted me $1500. He eventually screamed at me saying you buy the flywheel and I'll install it. I said no! You refund me the $3200 for the clutch and timing belt that I didn't ask for and I'll take my car somewhere else OR you can install the flywheel for free. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never do business with Randall again. My skid plate, battery tie down, intake and filter housing are all missing hardware. Who knows how many bolts and screws he forgot to put back. I don't trust his work. I talked to a few customers that heard me yelling and he said he has a horrible reputation for shady work and inaccurate/ over priced. I talked to the employees and they also said it a common issue to get charged the wrong price, install the wrong parts and argue with customers. I hope Randall sells his business before he ruins more peoples life's. I spent over $750 in Ubers and rental cars because of his shady business and installing the wrong parts. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I spent $3200 for a dual mass flywheel. The VW dealership could have done it for almost half that in less than 3 days Randall tied up my car for 3 weeks! read more

This place is a SCAM. Do not go here!! My Dad took my car in to get fixed as a wedding present and they charged him $4200 to make all the repairs, some of which did not need to be done. They replaced my windshield which was perfectly fine before and put 4 new tires on which I had just gotten 2 new tires earlier that year. To top it off, they panted my front and back bumpers and the paint job is completely coming off, just peels away every time I get a hand wash on my car! The list goes on and on. I called to complain and Randall the owner was completely apathetic which makes me realize they do not care about the work they do. This place is the biggest rip off. This is the most unethical establishment I have ever come into contact with. I brought my BMW 550 in to have them install a rebuilt transmission. I was quoted $5600 for the work to be done. A week goes by and Randy gives me a call saying that there was additional work that needed to be done. He doesn't give me a price, he instead says he will let me know. Another week goes by and I get another call from Randy stating that there was a crack in the engine block. I asked how much is this all going to cost? Randy states that it's going to be $11,000. At this point, I'm not willing to put that kind of money into the car so I relay that to Randy. I also tell him that I don't want to proceed with the transmission because it would be pointless. He then tells me I should go ahead with the transmission and "Drop it on someone else". This is someone with a business telling me to defraud someone else but it doesn't end there. I go to retrieve my car and I'm handed a bill from the secretary for $3000. That's in addition to the $3000 I already paid. They tell me that my transmission is in the trunk along with all of the other parts they took off the car. So they were trying to have me pay $6000 for a car they did nothing too and a transmission in the trunk of the car. After about 30 minutes I finally talk with Randy to figure out why I have a bill in my hand instead of a refund. He says they had my transmission rebuilt which is not what we arranged on. I explained to him that I need another transmission because the one that was in the car was the wrong one. He went completely against that and had my transmission rebuilt. He then asks me what is he supposed to do. I explain to him that no work has been done to the car and it still is broken. He replies " I should have just kept my mouth closed and not told you about the cracks and just put it in". Again I say this is someone with a business that has no ethics. I refused to give him $6000 for a car with the transmission thrown in the trunk. I ended up having to pay for the original transmission check which was $550 and $800 to ship my transmission back. I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking my vehicle to this crook. He doesn't know what he is doing, kept guessing and throwing parts at my vehicle and adding up costs, but my vehicle is still not repaired. He called to say it was ready, so we go to get it, drove off his property about 8 miles, the engine light came back on, and the vehicle was jerking some badly. Had my son to do a u turn back to his shop. He kept it for another two weeks not knowing what he was doing, even had the nerves to say "I can't figure it out, I will call England." I had had enough of this crook, and told him don't do nothing else and we are coming to get it. When we told him we are coming to get the vehicle, he wanted to charge another $1,900 plus. He does not try to repair what vehicles are brought to him for, he calls and says other things the vehicle needs. Just a crook, money grubbing!!! He would not release my vehicle until we sued him, and got an court order for him to release it. This crook even dropped my vehicle from the rack in his shop and caused nearly $10,000 worth of damage!!! Had my vehicle for November 2019 to June 2020 because he wanted to keep throwing parts and charging. That $2,200 dollars he scammed me out of, but wanted another $1,900 when he did NOT repair my vehicle, he will NOT prosper!!!! You people out there, PLEASE read Randall's Autohaus reviews, and reconsider before taking your vehicle there for repairs, unless you just want him to change a tire, or put water in your radiator. OMG, this was the worst experience I have ever had with an auto repair. While at court outside the court room, he had the nerves to say to his and my attorney my vehicle needs a motor, well this is what he should have said or taken care of before he threw all of those parts on it not knowing what he was doing, and then wanted to charge???? It might need a motor now that he has screwed up whatever is wrong with. When we filed the lawsuit, had a court date, the day before court we called to confirm court and was told "no court" because Randall waited on the day before to file a continuance because he needed time to get him an attorney after knowing we were going to court in June since March. Randall's has allowed me to drive the pre-owned European luxury and sports cars that I couldn't afford new. I've done business with this establishment since 1988 -- a long time. I recommend. I also recommend you do not buy such an automobile unless you can afford to maintain it. read more

Decided to bring my Mercedes Benz to Randall's autohaus, It was the worst decisión I could have made. After a week of my car being in this workshop and not hearing anything about my car, I called the shop and talk to the owner, Mr. Randall D'Field and ask about my car. He gave me a price that I accepted. Mr.Randall was very rude with me. I waited two weeks more to call several times asking about my car being fixed. He had many excuses about the price Mr. Randall always lied saying he need more parts and the price was higher every day. After three weeks wait, I was personally at the business And saw that they had not done anything and had not ordered any parts. I picked up my car and also they charged me $ 399.00 to get my car back from them without any repair work being done. Wow, I wish they would find a way to give negative stars. Instead of giving one star, they should give me some stars back, or at least let me give them zero stars. Yes, I'm the same person that reviewed this place in 2013. I can see my review, but I think they paid to have the negative review removed. I'm not sure if this one will make it either. This shop or owner, service manager is unscrupulous, PERIOD! They fooled me once, shame on them, they fooled me again....well you know the rest. I had a problem bleeding my brakes on my BMW. I put the wrong fluid into the reservoir (I'm a dummy obviously). The stuff happened to react with rubber adversely so I had to get the fluid out of the system ASAP. I simply needed the brake fluid drained and replaced and bled. I took it to them contrary to my own better judgement. I figured I would give them one day to bleed the brake system. I WAS NOT going to leave my car overnight due to my other car getting vandalized under thier "watchful" care. They said they got the fluid out but that to really fix the problem, I would need a new Brake Master Cylinder and some other parts to a tune of over $700 parts and labor. I was told that I owed them $120 for doing the brake bleeding. Since the problem wasn't fixed I had to find someone else to address the issue. The guy that finally got me running noticed that the brakes in fact haven't been bled. There were no signs of anyone messing with the bleed screws. There were no signs of brake fluid anywhere inside the wheel wells. In essence they didn't do ANYTHING and I gave them $120 for the effort. I would have been ok if they said that I owed them $120 for the diagnostic fee and for thier time. I'm not ok with them saying they performed the work and that it didn't improve the symptoms and I owe them $120 to do what I asked them to do. Give them your car at your own risk. read more

I've read all these other reviews and all are pretty dated so maybe something has changed for the good since then. Randell's offer a good option from the dealership. They are the only shop besides the dealership I will use for my BMW's. read more

This business is nothing but a scam house to take advantage of people who typically have money and/or know they can gouge the customer easier because of owning a highline vehicle. I paid 320.00 for these guys to tell me I needed every possible tiny item replaced in my engine ranging from fuel pumps to oil filters. I didn't need you to tell me you will change my oil for 110.00 I can do that myself for 18.00 with the same exact oil. It's unbelievable what they are trying to do and could not unrecommend a business anymore than this establishment. I paid 4,000 for an old bmw and other than a lag when I accelerated from idle it ran fine. So the estimate to fix this problem? $6,200!!! Take a look at the picture and see for yourself. Air filters for 25.00! Engine coolant charged twice for 25.00 when I didn't need anything for radiator issues! It's unreal and I only hope I help someone in the future by not getting ripped off here. I couldn't even get my foot through the door. My advice to your company, get a knowledgable person to answer your phones. A RUDE lady answered the phone and apparently didn't know anything. She kept saying "I don't know, we don't know you and don't know your car" in the RUDEST way. LOL. It's not that she couldn't answer my question, it's her ugly tone and the way she went about doing so. If I could've remembered her name, I'd gladly paste it on this review so she can see it. Seriously? Be rude to a potential customer on the phone when I politely asked a simple question? Totally brilliant of you. Thanks but no thanks.
