It is Dr.Martins fault my yard work got done. I am a disabled Vet and just turned 65. I have spine issues and the VA isn't helping much. I went to Dr. Randy mainly for relaxation and energy balance. I felt pretty relaxed after the treatment. That relaxation was lasted for about a week to a month, but I try to go once a week since it helps me with my overall balance. For people who are afraid of needles, I highly recommended him because I did not feel the needles at all. Unless it was a spot where it was closed to the nerve or the spot that indicated the problem in the body. The pain did not last long, and it was just a sting pain. If there was an uncomfortable or any painful spot during the treatment, he would explain the source of the pain and remove the needles if it was too uncomfortable. Dr. Randy Martin started treating my husband after his vascular surgeon said they could not put stents to repair any hardening of the arteries in his legs to ease the leg pain, or repair his aneurism above the navel area. Went to Dr. Martin for acupuncture to possibly help sudden ankle nerve pain from an out of nowhere spasm. He took me in same day which worked out. However, I didn't feel like he took the time to listen or get the specifics of my injury. He just stuck needles where my pain was and a few others and that was it. I feel like any one who knows acupuncture could've done that. Not sure if it worked since I still have the pain but it could be something that Acupuncture doesn't help anyhow. I recently saw Dr. Martin for acupuncture. I am dealing with some sensitive and personal issues. I was a few minutes late to my second visit with him (which I called to tell him). He didn't remember my name, or what he was treating me for. He was rushed, rude and dismissive to me at that visit. He violated my personal privacy by asking what he was treating me for in front of another patient. I reminded him that I have a phobia of acupuncture, but it did not seem to register. I sent him an email that night, letting him know how I felt and that it was stressful for me. His response was "Being human and subject to the variables of schedules, trying out a new secretary, and trying to please and be there for everyone, on occasion it doesn't always work out the way I'd ideally like it to. I can try, but can't promise I'll always be as sensitive as you need." Really? A doctor and a healer can't be sensitive to his patients' needs? I understand he might have had a bad day, but the appropriate response would have been an apology and "of course I will be more sensitive to your needs as my patient." I would never go back to him, or refer someone to him. I was really disappointed in the way he treated me in his office, and through his response. read more
