The procedure went smoothly, comfortably, and I felt cared for the entire time. After this good experience, I decided to have a deep clean there. I recently had a deep cleaning done with Dr. Andy, and I'm very happy with the experience. He really took the time to do a thorough and careful job and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I was especially nervous about the injection, but I honestly didn't feel any pain at all. Dr. Andy checked in with me regularly and was very patient and professional. All the staff there are very nice, care and helpful. I will continue go there. I would definitely recommended this office to anyone looking for high-quality dental care.

His enthusiasm and passion for dentistry is very obvious, and then, yesterday when I found myself in his chair having a gum grafting procedure over six lower interior teeth, I am happy to report that it was pain-free. He does a procedure many other periodontists steer clear of, (saying it's not possible) called the 'pinhole procedure,' which, instead of flapping the gums back, you make a small tunnel underneath the gum line of the teeth you are grafting, and feed the palatal gum through. It's relatively non-invasive, and the results are spectacular! One day out, I have big fat, beautiful gums, which I know will remodel in the next six months, but I couldn't be happier. If you need a periodontist , THIS is the office to go to! Top-notch and 100 stars!! Pamela Menges, RDHBS

I was referred to Dr Hollander by my regular dentist. He performed a LANAP procedure on me. Which…read moreis a laser surgery on the gums. Upon my first visit for the consultation, I was incredibly nervous because of many bad experiences with dentists in the past. I met Peggy, his assistant, and she was amazing. So, sweet and helpful. She immediately put me at ease and explained the treatment options to me, scheduling and answered any questions I had. Dr. Hollander is a magician. I told him about my sketchiness and asked him to treat me like I'm five please. He did. And it was perfect. I felt so at ease when going there that I requested to do my future cleanings there. It has been over a year since I went in for my first consultation and for the first time ever I actually don't get nervous going to a dentist. This was all Pre-Covid19. After Covid19: I had to cancel a cleaning and they were closed for a while. Which is totally understandable. I went back for my next cleaning on their first day back. You could tell they were all getting used to the new procedures. I was perfectly happy to be extra patient and spend a little more time than usual to allow them to get comfortable with the situation. They asked me to sanitize my hands upon entering, had a big protective glass between patient and receptionists. Peggy was all geared up and took my temp, they sanitized the counter before I even walked up, cleaned the pen before handing it to me, everyone was properly wearing their masks. I felt so incredibly safe. I didn't think it was possible to feel that comfortable anywhere that wasn't home, during this pandemic. They had industrial strength air purifiers in each room. They did everything perfectly and set an unreasonably high standard. During this visit, Dr. Hollander gave me an x ray because my wisdom tooth was angry. He referred me to have them removed at Dr Limchayseng's office, in Novato. I practically begged Dr Hollander to do it for me because I feel so comfortable there with them, but he said Dr Limchayseng does this all day long and he'd be better at it. I trusted him. I wrote a review about that experience, which was awful. I called Dr Hollander and told (I believe it was Toni) everything about it. She was shocked. Needless to say I didn't get my wisdom teeth removed, because I didn't even stay for the consultation. When I told her that I want a new referral, she gave me one right away and said they would not be referring anyone to Dr Limchayseng anytime soon. She referred me to a Dr in the same building as Dr Hollander. She offered to hand deliver it to them so she can check it out and make sure it's safe and I would feel comfortable there. She would let me know if she saw any red flags. I thanked her profusely. I only wish I could make Dr. Hollander my regular dentist but I am glad I can at least get my cleanings done there. Everyone in that office has done an amazing job.

All of this work has been successful, pain free and stress free. Recently I broke an implant crown that my regular DDS was unable to get out of my jaw. I can recommend Dr. Hollander without reservation.

Let's go back in time, maybe 2015, I was having issues with one of my tooths and my dentist…read morereferred me to Dr. Harandi. I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I was on antibiotics from either him or my regular dentist at the time of my appointment with Dr. Harandi, which means I wasn't in pain or had any issues when I was at this appointment. During this appointment he said we needed to do a bone graft on that tooth or I would eventually loose the tooth. He quoted, I think I made an appointment, but probably cancelled because the antiobiotics kicked in. Fast forward to 2023, pain again, antiobiotics worked, but after a few months it's hurting again. Asked my general dentist for more antibiotics, she said no, see Dr Harandi. Made an appointment and he said, if you would have listened to me in 2015 you wouldn't be in this situation right now. In my head, I'm like FU, I'm in pain, fix my tooth. He's like tooths gotta come out and we'll need to bone graft. He was giving me the I told you so attitude but I can't argue, he did. During that same appointment, he said #13 needs a bone grafting, schedule an appointment and get it done. No BS, that entire ordeal sucked, lost a tooth, bone graft, pain, took weeks to recover. Every day, each week, each month, and each year after that surgery I kept hearing Dr. Harandi in my head telling me #13 and to schedule appointment. So after 3 years, 2026 I scheduled an appointment. No pain, no issues, but I knew eventually if I wait, I'd be losing another tooth and going throught that entire painful process again. I scheduled, he did the exam, and he said, why did it take you so long to come back? Here we go, I think I'm in trouble. He said schedule the appointment lets open it up and see what it's like inside. Once I'm in I'll know whether it's just a grafting, or if we have to extract. I said Dr, can you save my tooth? He said I don't know, I can't tell, but what I can tell you is that I'm in the business to save teeth, not pull them. That was a great answer. My appointment was 3 weeks later, so 3 weeks of praying that #13 is my lucky #. Sure enough it was. Dr. Harandi saved tooth #13, he didn't say I told you so, he said, get your teeth professionally cleaned every 3 months, floss and brush regularly. Bottonline: Dr Harandi and his team are pros. Listen to him and you'll keep your teeth!
