Randy's Roadhouse has made some changes. More tables were available, it appeared. My wife and I ordered take-out on our last visit. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I like eating in, but my wife doesn't always. We have eaten at Randy's Roadhouse many times, and we have always had a great meal at a fair price. Customer service was okay. The waitress doesn't check on you very much and is not friendly. Fries tasted burnt, the shrimp was raw, the drinks didn't taste very good, and the tables were sticky. Overall bad quality of everything. There was a hair in the napkin they rolled our silverware in too. If you're wanting food in Batesville there's definitely better options. I'm not sure how good the bar is tho. We don't complain often, we work in costumer service at a restaurant so we know what its like and usually tip 20-30 dollars, even over 50 for a few good servers and we were very let down by everything. read more

Solid eating and drinking establishment, Hours are pretty limited so plan on visiting between 5:00-9:00. Staffing seems to be an issue so service can take a little bit at times. You can't go wrong with the burgers and the wings are very good - suggest ordering them "mixed grilled" read more

My coworkers and I were here on a Thursday night around 7pm. It was the NFL draft so that was perfect timing. There was street parking and a parking lot as well. The place was somewhat busy and we were a large group of people so we took a lot of space. There were multiple TVs around, a pool table, and even an area in the back where there was a stage and dance floor. Their menu had a little bit of everything from burgers to sandwiches to appetizers. I ordered the Shroom Melt ($9.49) and was looking at the other burger called The Big Mouth. The food came out a pretty long time. The Shroom Melt was not on a regular burger bun but on slices of rye bread. It definitely was different than what would think came with burgers. The Shroon Melt was good especially if you loved mushrooms and the fries were not bad. There was enough food to make you full. Overall, I thought this place was good. read more

I have been driving across the East coast from Wisconsin stopped here and thought that Randy's looked good so I've just order the chili and grilled cheese not too hard to make you would think so I ordered three of each for me my wife and son, but the chili was awful!!!!! The fries cold and the grilled cheese was hard on the edges the fries are so bad my son had to eat his pickle at same time as his fries to stomach them. This was my very first time at Randy's. I was in town for a wedding with a Batesville local and I had heard and heard about this place for years. Finally I was able to go. It's got a great Texas Roadhouse local feel inside. It appears small when you walk up to the building and even when you walk inside. It's only until you head to the back where there's a huge open area and a stage for fantastic live local music they have on certain nights. I'd highly recommend this place. These are sauced and then thrown back on the grill. Get there too late for wings? No prob-- get drunk with the locals and eat a 'zza. The staff. Like I said before. They may look at you and roll their eyes, but you probably deserve it. Tip them well. If I'm going to bring a friend home for a holiday or a weekend, this bar will show them the small town feel. I decided to try Randy's roadhouse after coming to meet a friend in batesville for dinner. Upon entering I was impressed with the decor. Several band posters decorated the wait area along with display cases of different beer steins and glasses from all eras. The dining area features a large wood burning fireplace making the place cozy in the winter. There is also an outdoor area for the warmer months. I was not impressed with the attentiveness of the hostess(or lack of a hostess). I stood at the front waiting to be greeted for 5 minutes before a waitress, or hostess finally came and greeted us and said that the wait would be ten minutes. After a short 15 min we were seated at a big booth . Wings were .70 ea on wed. so we ordered wings along with a mushroom n Swiss burger. The wings were a homerun , some of the best I've tasted, and the mushroom and swiss hamburger was very tasty as well. I will undoubtedly return for dinner at Randys. read more

I really enjoyed the wings I had last time. I've had excellent burgers every time I go and the service is good. I'm looking forward to the summer time out on their patio. Pizza and salads are also excellent. Their beer specials are the best in town. 1 applesauce, 2 waters, 16 inch pizza $35.60!!!!! We added chicken to our pizza and no one told us that adding chicken was $9. Sat outside and it was very very smokey.
