$38 + tip for 6 mediocre wings. A micro pizza and two drafts. I came here because people said it was good portions and prices. It was neither.

My coworkers and I were here on a Thursday night around 7pm. It was the NFL draft so that was perfect timing. There was street parking and a parking lot as well. The place was somewhat busy and we were a large group of people so we took a lot of space. There were multiple TVs around, a pool table, and even an area in the back where there was a stage and dance floor. Their menu had a little bit of everything from burgers to sandwiches to appetizers. I ordered the Shroom Melt ($9.49) and was looking at the other burger called The Big Mouth. The food came out a pretty long time. The Shroom Melt was not on a regular burger bun but on slices of rye bread. It definitely was different than what would think came with burgers. The Shroon Melt was good especially if you loved mushrooms and the fries were not bad. There was enough food to make you full. Overall, I thought this place was good.

Food was delicious and the service, while understaffed, was still very good. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Wings were awesome ! Only one waitress tho on a sat at 3. In all fairness she was seated 3 large groups within 5 min of each other .

We started with the sauer kraut balls, pretzel with beer cheese, and pickle fries. All were delicious! The pickle fries have a great pickle to breading ratio, will gladly order these again! I went full toddler and ordered the chicken tenders and fries, they were exactly what I wanted and were a generous portion.

I ended up ordering a basic brat sandwich which was honestly not very good. It came on non toasted or grilled rye swirl bread. My friend and I split the sauerkraut balls which were small but fine. We both had ordered German Potato Salad only to be told after they were out. I ended up changing to the potato pancakes which I must say were delicious! They were side dish sized in diameter about 2 inches. I had never had them prepared this way but I did greatly enjoy them as a side. My friend had the wedge potatoes which were hot and plentiful in place of the potato salad. We both walked away full which was a win. I was just disappointed and or surprised by the minimal German options. I was hoping for different full meal options. I will give some slack on the potato salad being that it was a holiday weekend and staff was probably minimal and the patrons kept coming in while we dined. While in Oldenburg this restaurant is a must. Just a heads up if you are expecting authentic German meals you may not find what you are expecting.

The cafe is located in the converted historic ROM Webber furniture factory. The Big Four cafe name honors the railroad line that used to pass through town. Courtney, our server, was friendly and attentive. She kept water filled and checked on us frequently. Food came out quickly. I had the Herb and Garlic Chopped salad, which was beautifully plated, fresh and delicious. Romaine, tomatoes, onions were topped with cheese and avocado. The garlicky vinaigrette dressing was tangy. I I also had a cup of the Texas Chili, which was topped with cheese and jalapeño slices. The beef was tender and the soup base slightly spicy. My husband had the Cuban Press (at Courtney's recommendation) and it was tasty and hearty. The sandwich was made using Indiana ham, slowed cooked pork and melted cheese. He said his sandwich was an easy 5 stars. Don't miss the beer battered onion rings which are fresh made and delicious. (I stole a couple of his rings.) There are roomy restrooms with changing tables. Free parking is available in front of the building. Worth a visit.

Definitely a two thumbs up experience and worth a drive!
