I initially ended up booking a double snowmobile guided tour but wasn't able to get a guide for the trails. The staff were friendly and sent an email out a week before the trip to let us know of the inconvenience, but am happy that we were able to venture off on our own. I will definitely go again and for a longer duration!! The snowmobiles were in immaculate condition, so beautiful! The seats AND the handles for the passenger were headed which was and added plus! It was nice to be away from people and selfishly enjoy Mother Nature and her beauty!! There is so much openness and wilderness to explore its breathtaking. Abandoned buildings and cars if you are lucky to spot them!!

Holts Revenge was definitely our favorite trail, and the Waterfall Trail was also a highlight. Some trails were off-limits for various reasons, but there was still plenty to explore. I highly recommend visiting. Don't forget to bring goggles or glasses (they're required), along with closed-toe shoes.

I was very dissatisfied with my ATV rental from 201 Powersports. The details of the rental weren't…read moreexplained very well, and 201 Powersports certainly didn't highlight the most important thing--your security deposit of either $1,500 or $3,000 (depending on whether you paid the extra $25 for the $1,500 option) will be taken for any scratches or scuff marks on the plastic body of the ATV. This should have been stressed, as there are many gates to get through that have very little clearance on the sides of the ATV, even if the ATV was completely square going through the gate. Regarding my experience, we stopped before every gate and passed through slowly, yet the plastic panels occasionally rubbed against the gate poles as it is very difficult to avoid. We used reasonable care while driving the ATV. You would think that with narrow passageways through the gates and the ATV being an off-road vehicle, scratches and scuffs would be expected. Not in my case. The "damage" was over $2,000, and my $1,500 deposit was fully taken. Apparently, the panels had to be replaced because of scratches and scuffs that were very difficult to avoid. 201 Powersports would not give me the old panels to potentially sell to offset the cost, as this isn't their or Polaris' policy. If the panels end up being replaced, I am sure the old ones will be repurposed or sold by 201 Powersports or Polaris. In addition to the above, when shown the ATV prior to use, we didn't get a walk-around to inspect the condition of the ATV like you would with a rental car. I would think that if the side panels were to come back in such pristine condition, this should have been highlighted and stressed along with mentioning the numerous narrow gates to alert the renter. If I had known that the gates were that narrow and that scratches and scuffs on the side panels would result in replacement at a high cost, I never would have taken this risk. Using the ATV for less than two hours ended up costing $1,825. Again, we used reasonable care and tried to be very responsible. One shouldn't have to be an experienced ATV driver to pass through gates. It wasn't reasonable. It seemed like a money grab, so please be very careful renting from 201 Powersports as it may cost you more than you expect despite using reasonable care. With the numerous and ridiculously narrow gates along the paths, 201 Powersports should expect scratches or scuffs on the plastic panels and/or provide an insurance option to cover such damage after stressing the renter's responsibility.

Some of us are new to ATV and some of us (like my myself, an adrenaline junkie) has some experience. :D Our tour guide was very knowledgable and funny. He let us practice before we got on to the actual trail. By the end of the tour, we were making sharp turns, flying up and down steep hills, and splashing through mud puddles. It was extremely fun! Make sure to wear a bandana and goggles!

From checking in to getting your gear and watching the video to getting your machine, everything went smoothly! The two guys they have getting you on your way answered any questions we had, got us to the mountain, gave us an easy to understand map and set us free to go on our own tour. It was an amazing/beautiful time. The trails were clearly marked, wide enough to pass one another and well groomed. We did get stuck, ok, I got stuck and after trying ourselves for awhile to get out we called and they sent one of the guys out to help us immediately. Added bonus- they give you a gps tracker so if you do need help there's no stress of wondering where you are- they know exactly where you are!! Lana at the front desk was awesome helping us out and dispatching help...I really can't say enough nice things about the team they have here. We will definitely be back! My only tip would be is if you're going in the summer, pick a cooler day that maybe had rain the day before. We went when it was 90° and dry and they amount of dust you kick up can really blind/choke you

We had such an amazing time glamping at Bear Rock. The Grand Tent was beautiful, plenty of room for…read morefour. The views were spectacular. The tents come with one queen size bed and two twins. The wood stove kept the inside nice and warm during the cool nights. Outside there were Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and charcoal grill. The porta-potty was spotless, and even though we never used the outdoor shower, it was clean and looked very fun. Our weekend package came with a UTV rental. Jamie with Bear Rock took the time to go over everything with the rental, explain the vehicle and what the rules are. He also had trips loaded into the navigation so we could pick from trips that were easy to intermediate. We chose a 4-6 hour loop that took us from Colebrook, into VT, next to Canada and through Pittsburg. We stopped at their main store in Pittsburg, everyone was super nice. It did rain for the second half of the trip, and we were very wet by the time we made it back to the tent, but overall we had a great time. I highly recommend the stay and play package, well worth the money for the experiences you get.
