(This is a LONG one)…read more Oh Vianey. I really tried to like her and her services. This is a case of my experience definitely not matching up with the reviews I read. I've had my lashes done a few times by other people. The first time I went in to see Vianey I had lost lashes because of crying and wiping my eyes. I had a bad weekend with some very sad family news. Vianey seemed to not have very good communication skills. I kept overlooking her unwillingness to give me the service that I wanted. She kept insisting on a different kind of lash and that's not what I wanted. She put a full set on which took a couple hours. I originally had no intentions in getting the lashes she insisted on. I went with them trying to be flexible and telling myself she should know what she's talking about. In the end, I wasn't very happy when she was done I tried to find the good in the service completed. They were already ON. First of all... The location really sucks. The very small plaza has zero parking spots. And there's no street parking so I got super lucky and parked in a neighboring establishments assigned parking because they were getting ready to close. Her studio is next to a bar that takes up all of the parking. If you're going to see her anyways... Plan on getting dropped off or something. When she finished... Immediately I could see that the lashes were tilted inward slightly. I say slightly because some people may not have noticed. But this is my face and my lashes and I am very observant. I kept using the little brush wand to brush them outward... But they were tilted inward. again, just lightly. But that's all it took for me not to be very happy. I just took a deep breath and decided it was nothing I could do at that point. When I left... It had been a very long week and like I said, I had got bad news so I was drained emotionally and physically. I totally forgot that I had bought a Groupon so I paid cash and I tipped her $20. She had me look over my lashes. And I had just open my eyes. I was tired and I looked for a little bit and I thought they looked even but when I got home and looked in the mirror after my eyes adjusted in sufficient lighting. I noticed that when I seemed like it was missing a spot. I text her immediately To ask her if I could come in tomorrow so she could put a lash in that space, she made some kind of excuse and said she couldn't and that she did what she could because I was missing lashes. looking in the mirror I could see that there was enough flash to attach, but I just let it go. Again... Trying not to be a bad customer I just said OK decided I probably wasn't going back to her. It was after a couple of days that I realized I have a Groupon with her that I paid for so I would have to see her again. A week ago I called her to make my appointment and just like the first time I made my appointment. I let her know that I work in Pasadena and in order for me to get to Southgate on time I would leave straight from work and I would come straight to her but there was a lot of traffic. On my first appointment she said OK let's make the appointment for 645 just in case. That time actually worked perfect except for the parking issue like I mentioned earlier. This time when I made an appointment to use the Groupon to come back Vianey made the appointment for 630. I reminded her of the fact that I'm coming from Pasadena leaving straight from work in the thick of traffic... She still made the appointment for 6:30 PM. At 6:35 PM... I text her to tell her I am almost there and that there was a lot of traffic, as a reminder. She proceeded to tell me how she was going to charge me an extra $10 late fee for being 10 minutes late. I reminded her again... That I was coming from Pasadena to Southgate and there's a lot of traffic. She went on to say that she Hass to be somewhere after my appointment and she can't wait for me. I'm posting pictures of the conversation because I literally cannot believe how immature this girl is. And I'm very disappointed in her unprofessionalism. Like I said, I wasn't really happy with her services in the beginning so I was so happy to get a refund from Groupon so that I can try somebody else and hopefully find a regular vendor. She's young. Seems very immature. I was astonished that she said, " I can't wait all day for you". And then she said that I was being inconsiderate of her time. I came straight from work little girl. I don't get it.(smh) Thank God that Groupon refunded me all of my money back. Hopefully the next vendor is actually professional.
