Let's face it, the US is ranked 37th in the world for healthcare because there is no good weed-out system for bad doctors, so if you have the opportunity to get surgery with this man before he retires, seriously consider it. He is as good as it gets. He won't try to sell you spinal appliances so he can buy a boat; he is a dying breed who remembers his hippocratic oath. I did not have time to see a dermatologist as the earlier appointment was well after my time in California. I needed immediate relief. I was in Fort Wayne and decided to go to Physicians Urgent Care as it was listed on my insurance plan. I came in and asked to see a doctor. After filling out some paperwork, i waited my turn. I noticed most of the people in the urgent care that day were people to do mandatory testing for work. After about 20 minutes, I was taken inside and spoke with a nurse and told her my issue. She saw the problem and said a doc would come in a bit. Another 15 minutes later, spoke with the doctor and explained the situation. He prescribed me some doxycycline and prednisone. After a few days of taking the meds, I was in good shape. If you need to see a doc quickly but its not something for the ER, go to Physicians Urgent Care!

Seven years ago Dr. Neeld had an office in Columbia City when I first went and saw him (boy, i do miss the convenience of that location, but Fort Wayne isn't too much farther) and he was both knowledgeable and friendly. I started immunotherapy shortly after, and I have never been more happy to have done something (corrective eye surgery would be the close second.) Two other kids in my family have also started, and have experienced the same good results as I have. No decongestants, and only a very mild antihistamine during the worst time of the year for us, around labor day. This is quite a change from my 'pre-allergist' years, where I would have to be either on a steady stream of sleepy allergy pills to control the symptoms (spring, summer & fall), or have several hankerchiefs soaked in a few hours time. The staff at Dr. Neelds have always been friendly, and while we now only see them when we need new vials (we have our local physician administer the now monthly shots), they are still great! Obviously the worst part of going to see an allergist is getting tested, but they even made having 40 itchy & scratchy pinpricks on your back not seem too bad. My only regret...I wish I would have started 30 years ago.

Ironically, at my first visit when I was 12 he told my mom I had every symptom of gallstones but since I was underweight, under 40, and had no family history there's no way it could be gallstones. Bothering to get an ultrasound done would've been a waste of time he said. Instead, he had me under several expensive gastroendoscopies and colonoscopies. Those results came back negative so he came to the conclusion I must be a hypochondriac. So when it got to the point where I couldn't eat or drink anything without having a painful attack, he continued to just give me Zantac 150 and tell me it was gastritis or irritable bowel syndrome. I was popping Zantac like candy and it did absolutely nothing for me. Six long years after my first visit to this guy my mom asked him to just check my gallbladder. What do you know?! The sucker was full of stones! Oh, and the test was only around $100 before insurance!!!!! Far cheaper than a gastroendoscopy or colonoscopy... that's for damn sure. Oh, and he misdiagnosed a friend of mine for three years as well. My friend finally switched doctors when Horani accused him of being a homosexual and stated he thought sexual activity was the cause of his health problem. My friend went to a different doctor and was finally diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. He's had several surgeries that have helped him considerably. It's also pretty ridiculous Horani didn't catch my friend's Crohn's considering it runs in his family. Dr. Horani's bedside manner is lousy and his ability to diagnose is even worse.

He really…read moremade us feel like he TRULY cared about our son, he is a genuinely nice person and he certainly knows his stuff! The wait time in the office is a long time but understandable considering it's a specialty pediatric office so he's dealing with kiddos that need special attention. He always spends a lot of time with us and takes time to answer questions in a way that we will truly understand. Happy our son is healthy and we no longer have to go there but sad that we have to go back to our normal pediatrician.

So far we've had the privilege of dealing with three doctors in this group. Dr. Lucia Fouts is my…read morewife's regular OB/Gyn, and has been great. She answers all my wife's (and my) questions without ever sounding patronizing/condescending or making us feel stupid. Her demeanor is very easygoing, but not aloof. This is a group that works together, so since Dr. Fouts wasn't on call, Dr. Haley delivered our first child, and Dr. Davis our second. As one of the nurses at Dupont Hospital said, "I can't think of a negative thing to say about any doctor in this group." In my opinion that's high praise from a labor and delivery nurse, especially one that doesn't work for these guys directly.

I have been on high stress waiting for this appointment for ten days now. Then on the appointment day I got up early and was there 45 min early only to discover I left my ID and insurance card at home and they refused to see me. Politics of our "medical care" today. So I litally flew back home and got back with the cards exactly on time and they said there was nothing they could do but reschedule. I told them how horribly stressful this is and the only day I had. Then I asked if someone could tell me what to do if it falls out. Finally someone came back and told me to just push it back in. No forgiveness from them and I have no forgiveness for them.

Overall he was very satisfied with this visit.
