What I was looking for today was not yet in stick for summer but I will look again next week when the spring/summer sale starts. With a membership there are so many perks so the savings are huge, especially kf you use their partner credit card. Even leaving empty handed today, it was a fun experience . She immediately started asking lots of questions about my biking skills and anticipated riding plans. She explained the features of a few options, and loaned us helmets for a test drive. She didn't steer us to the most expensive, but instead recommended a model on sale from last year. She clearly was knowledgeable about biking from personal experience, and we trusted her recommendations. And, she was very hands on, even helping to load the new bike into the car. Bikes are in excellent condition with plenty of power for the many uphill inclines. Our 2.5 hour e-bike tour took us through much of Boulder countryside, downtown, CU, and along beautiful streams. The guide (Tanner) pointed out interesting places with history facts. We even stopped by the Mork-n-Mindy TV house :) There is option for a bathroom stop if needed on the route. You can pretty much use the power assist the whole time and not needing to physically pedal. We felt safe the whole experience and the e-bike tour is great for individual, families or groups. They did great repairs on my vintage Schwinn and carefully constructed my vintage English bike shipped from Maine. While the repair portion of the store is no longer scheduling bike repairs one of the staffers is branching off to open his own repair shop. Just head on back to the bike repair area to add your name to a contact list so he can reach out when his new shop is up and running. Nearly everything in the store is on sale (fixtures excluded, however there is a sign up for those items). My gal pal and I perused the bikes (she's in the market for one), ladies clothing, snacks, and helmets. My gal pal scored a beautiful Giro helmet for 40% off, score. What a bunch of bulllshit!! They didnt bother sending us all out n email letting us know of the mistake?
