Id leave less stars but it doesnt allow me to. Where do I begin, two guys showed up and where very friendly at first. I made the mistake of not getting a written estimate or receipts. Only prrof I had was for payment of parts. Supplies I paid for. After the first round of supplies I would be sent an invoice order for parts. Not paying attention that I was indeed stocking there own personal supplies!! 20+ outlet boxes or dozens of plugs or caulk tubes that werent needed, let alone used. NOTE: I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath condo of less than 950sf!! Jump forward, they tried gluing baseboards, attempted and messed up many cuts of hard to get vinly flooring! Ruined 2 two sets of closet doors. Were drinking and smoking and my unit. Went more than 6 months past the estimated due date! Oversprayed my furniture, sprayed and scratched my new appliances. Did not use any tape on the plumbing mor did they tighten down fixtures. Tools..... lets talk about tools. Mine! That were supposedly stolen from my unit. Said to be from a break in where they broke in, slept in my bed, stole tools (multiple times) and then bothered to lock up afterwards! What a joke!! The guy complained about his wife and situation and then said he had suffered injuries from multiple accidents and that that was the reason everything was delayed. Floors done incorrectly and were incomplete. Electrical not done completed, plumbing not completed, and brand new dishwasher not hooked up right! "Accent" wall not complete, and last but not least countertop not secured or sealed to the wall. Left me with a gap of multiple inches and damaged materials! Thousands of dollars lost and hundreds in tools that were "stolen." Don't use them! read more

However, I'm not sure what happened since then. We booked an appt twice with him. First appt he couldn't make it and didn't tell me until later that day AFTER our scheduled appt. I consider myself really easy going so I was okay with re-booking. I agreed to rescheduling it to the next day and even told him anytime would be alright as long as it was before 2... but we still had a no show... They get two stars for showing up on time and budget. The bad part as an out of town landlord I paid them before seeing the results of their work. I just saw the flooring they replaced in my bathroom several months after it was done. Who leaves sizable gaps in laminate snap together planks. Oh this company! The ends in several places don't connect in to each other. And the baseboard was just left leaning against the wall. The second project they did was repairing a wall cabinet. So happy with our new kitchen lights. A great update from the original 43 year old lighting space and old botched job. Couldn't be happier with Randy helping create the design and showed some extra care with the details! Remote ribbon lighting that changes color, brightness and changes color while music is playing if you want. Loving the new dimming lights also!! Rapid Home Services is absolutely amazing! I requested quotes from several companies and RHS was the only one who responded with a very reasonable price. My kitchen faucet was leaking. During the trouble shoot he pointed out few other issues as far as the hoses not hooked up correctly. He installed a new faucet and fixed the mess of hoses. He did fast, clean work. I highly recommend Rapid Home Services. Great rates and good customer service is golden in my book! So my upstairs window a/c wasn't functioning like it should, the air was semi cold for a few minutes then would turn hot..ugh, and with the heat wave of 106 degrees this weekend, there was no way I was going to handle sleeping well at night. I had gone through several quotes on Yelp before making a decision... with replies like no, sorry, we don't work on that type of unit ...or sounds like you should just get a new one... to never getting a reply at all, I was annoyed. I'm glad I chose RHS for my a/c repair. I was impressed from the moment I requested the online quote, to the timely manor in which the owner Randy replied and even took the time to chat about what was going on. It was cool. So I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. He showed up on time ready to tackle the problem. Within a few minutes of taking the unit down, taking it apart and looking into it, he saw the issue. The evaporator fan had broken off and wasn't spinning to circulate the cold air. How that happened, no clue!? I would of never known, the unit turned on just fine and the compressor was working, but no cold air. I thought maybe it needed new refrigerant, had a leak or just needed to be cleaned. He explained the differences. He then fixed the problem in no time, did a service check of everything else and got my a/c up and running in less than an hour...and even more quiet than before! I was super excited ..lol He also did a little homework for me and provided the part number for a new filter I need along with the website. Now that's customer service! He answered questions I had regarding other home modifications I'd like to have done, gave scenarios and provided a quote for that too. Totally happy with everything. Randy is one cool guy and I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking home services, I look forward into calling RHS again ...soon :) read more
