When Chris (a super nice guy!) got here he decided to pull the battery (no simple task...it's one that's partially buried) and sent us to buy a new one while he waited at the house. We returned, he Installed the battery, put everything back together and we were on our way in less than an hour. I should also mention he was at our house 15 minutes after we first called! Worried I'd be stuck with a broken car along I-90, I stopped at the first auto shop I could find, which happened to be John's Laurel Service Center in Laurel, MT. They were very welcoming when I dropped in and asked if they could take a look at my car right away. They inspected everything very carefully and even called a Mazda dealer to double check the normal voltage for Mazda alternators before telling me that it was just my compressor that was broken, and it would be okay to continue driving I just wouldn't have working A/C. They didn't even charge me for their time! My car continued to work just fine other than the A/C, like they said it would, and I definitely recommend anyone with car trouble to stop by John's.
