Left job patched, but not painted. Paid for job.

Never punctual. Showed up to work on his terms. Lack of communication. Promises not delivered. Do not use Rapid Renovations.

I have very mixed feelings about Power Dry. We originally hired them for water mitigation after our…read morehome flooded, and that specific team did a great job. Based on that, we hired their restoration department to put our home back together. That was a massive mistake. The restoration process was extremely disorganized. We were promised a project manager to oversee everything, but we had a revolving door of different people. We effectively had to act as our own general contractors, communicating constantly just to ensure the work got done. After the work was finished, the refinished floorboards started lifting. Power Dry dragged their feet for months before coming to look at it, and then completely refused to fix it. They blamed the issue on the 'humidity' in our home--an absurd excuse considering we have lived in this house for 14 years without ever having this issue before. Because they refused to stand behind their work, we withheld our final payment until the floor was fixed. Instead of working with us, they placed a lien on our house. We had to hire an entirely different contractor to fix Power Dry's mistakes. We offered to pay Power Dry the remaining balance minus what we paid another contractor to fix the problem. We ultimately had to hire an attorney to get the situation settled and the lien removed from our property. If you have a flood, their mitigation team is fine. But I would strongly advise against ever using their restoration department.

This company did a fantastic job installing the leaf blaster (gutter covering) for my gutters. I…read morehad checked other places out, but fortunately, I had located the owner of the guttering business who installed gutters a few years ago, and is now working with this team. The price was competitive compared to other companies. Casey visited our home and showed samples he made for the three gutter covers they sell and install. We chose the top-tier leaf blaster. It appeared to have good enough pinholes for rain to go through, but to filter out leaves, flying debris, and winged creatures. We have been experiencing a nuisance with house finches, which were creating nests in our large gutters. After choosing the leaf blaster, Casey agreed that this should keep the finches out. Unfortunately, the birds were relentless. They waged a war because a nest was cleared out when Chief Guttering cleaned out the gutters before placing the leaf blaster, and along went any nests--and those precious eggs included. A few weeks after Chief Guttering installed the leaf blaster, some finches found a slight gap between the gutter and the leaf blaster. The finches began squeezing through the gap every morning, becoming an annoying alarm. I called Casey, and he had his guys return and address the gap space issue. They double-secured it well, placing a nice aluminum piece to shut them out. If you need guttering or a leaf guard, this is a reliable and good team to consider.
