Don't do the work you pay them to do. Take your money and then leave you to trap and remove rats from your attic.

I honestly did not have any high expectations because everyone told me to go to Sharkarosa last year and that place was a little disappointing. Also people told me this place was a flop too; but they seemed to have decent reviews and tigers and that's all my kiddos cared about. Pulling in I was still having no expectations; we checked in; we had "donated" online prior to arriving so we were given a map and some simple instructions and on we were on our way. They have a ton of cats! Yes I have a love hate relationship for places like this and zoos because I feel sympathy for the animal being in a cage; however I due understand most are rescued and are alive because of places like this. But this place by far is one of the better places; it's clean; workers are constantly cleaning the habitats; the animals overall were active and not in "comatose" "depressed" state as I've seen before at other places. For the most part a lot of the habitats were very large with lots in them; so that was refreshing. I saw a ton of cats I've never seen. I think tigers are beautiful; however I was really in awe of the Lion, Lambert and then the Servals! They were just amazing. They had tigers, ligers, lions, servals, bobcats, cougars, etc. my kids really enjoyed it as well as my husband and I. The memorial wall was touching; and the gift shop is decent. I did find out they offer a feeding tour in the evenings and that's something we may check out in the future. All in all it was a great experience for us.

I thought most of them would be sleeping inside their (air conditioned and heated) houses in the middle of the day. Not so. We saw lions, tigers, ligers, several bobcats, a several, and a leopard, all up close. Many of the cats have been rescued from people who raised them as cubs, and intended to keep them as pets, so many of the cats are not fearful of humans. The facilities are nothing fancy, but the cats are clearly well taken care of and have plenty of enrichment. There are about 70 cats on the property, and you can probably see them all within an hour or so. It's not a huge place. The paths between the enclosures are dirt / gravel and sometimes uneven. We ended up getting pretty muddy since we came after it rained. It was a little tricky for my dad, who is 85 with mobility issues, but was still manageable.

I called A Wildlife Pro DFW after having another company tell me I had to spend thousands of dollars to replace my insulation and all sorts of stuff. Aaron came out the very next day to take a look at my property. He told me that there was nearly no damage to my attic, just a few holes around the roof line of my house. He put these little doors on the holes so that the squirrels could leave but not get back in. Within a week, he came back and fixed up the holes. He was able to do this while I was at work, which was really convenient. This work cost less than I expected and the animals were out quickly. all the staff which I talked to were nice and very knowledgeable. I like that they're construction focused and humane to animals instead of exterminator service. There have been no more critters in my attic, driving my dogs insane with their squirrely sounds.

Replaced vents, secured/painted corners and other openings around the house. We had squirrels in our previous home, and so Matt and team did a great job then so we asked them to come out to our new home again. Went well ... all work completed in two trips. Matt, Carl and Katherine are very professional and did a great job sticking to schedule.

My husband and I came here for a weekend trek, and it's easily one of the best outdoor spots in North Texas. What I love most is the versatility. Whether you're looking for a smooth, paved stroll or want to get your boots a little dusty on the dirt hiking trails, they've got you covered. It's a great mix of elevation and flat stretches. It's a great spot for everyone. Pets are welcome (on leashes!), and there is a fantastic playground near the parking lot--perfect for kiddos who still have energy to burn after a hike. You'll see a beautiful variety of plants and likely some local wildlife. Just a heads-up: they do have warning signs posted for snakes and poison ivy, so definitely keep an eye on your surroundings while you explore. The parking lot is huge, but this place is popular! We arrived around 1:00 PM and it was nearly at capacity. We were lucky to snag a stall, but I'd definitely recommend arriving earlier in the morning if you want to avoid the parking hunt.

Which was about 30 mins into the trail (I'm a slow walker tho) They do have some areas you can cut through to get to other trails but I don't recommend trying this after it rains because it's very muddy. The scenery from the tower was beautiful. I do wish they had more benches to rest though because there were only two on the trail we took. At the entrances there is a park for kids to play and a barbq area that looks over the trail. There's also plenty of parking! And the restrooms seem decent

It's one of my favorite places to hike. I love that the motto of this place is to conserve land for future generations, saving space from widespread development that turned beautiful grasslands into cityscapes. They are constantly working to restore native grasses and plants here, and even returned some quail to the area. It's a nice place to go on a weekend morning to view Allen/Plano the way it was meant to be experienced. We've had falcons fly right over us, seen many beautiful birds including baby woodpeckers, butterflies, and native flowers. There are even art installations (that kept my kiddo motivated to keep walking), and events hosted here, like the Mediterranean meal event in the Meadow. We'll be joining the hayride in October! Check out their website for events and opportunities to donate, to ensure this land stays free of development forever. Connemaraconservancy.org

I've literally watched this area go from fenced pasture to butting up against golf courses, movie theaters, and neighborhoods. It's not slowing down so, this fabulous green space is more than a respite from the constant go-go only yeards away. During this Shelter in Place Time its Paradise and soul-nourishing. If you haven't explored yet, plan a day out. It's worth it. After walking into the property on a former country road, it opens up to pasture as it has been for over a hundred years. Bordering on a beautiful live water creek its easy to imagine our predecessors stopping here for water before continuing a journey. There is a garden here tended seasonally by volunteers as are birdhouses for rare local species. This is a treasure.
