Don't do the work you pay them to do. Take your money and then leave you to trap and remove rats from your attic.

Our mission here centers on two core pillars: delivering top-tier care to our animals alongside our vet team (see our facebook for videos from our attending veterinarian) and educating the public. Many of the resident animals here are rescues or wouldn't have had the chance to survive on their own in the wild. Giving them a safe, enriched, and loving forever home where they can thrive is what drives our care team every single day. Working alongside such a passionate, dedicated staff makes all the hard work worth it. Everyone on our team goes above and beyond--whether that's guiding interactive tours, sharing conservation stories, or ensuring our animals receive the best hands-on daily care possible. Come and ask them how much they love working here! We are thankful for Costco Prosper for giving us fresh produce every week and Kroger distribution center in south lake for sending us meat for our deep freeze! If you're looking for a fun, educational experience where you can get up close with incredible animals while supporting a cause that truly matters, come visit us! We love sharing our passion with the community and can't wait to welcome you.

I honestly did not have any high expectations because everyone told me to go to Sharkarosa last year and that place was a little disappointing. Also people told me this place was a flop too; but they seemed to have decent reviews and tigers and that's all my kiddos cared about. Pulling in I was still having no expectations; we checked in; we had "donated" online prior to arriving so we were given a map and some simple instructions and on we were on our way. They have a ton of cats! Yes I have a love hate relationship for places like this and zoos because I feel sympathy for the animal being in a cage; however I due understand most are rescued and are alive because of places like this. But this place by far is one of the better places; it's clean; workers are constantly cleaning the habitats; the animals overall were active and not in "comatose" "depressed" state as I've seen before at other places. For the most part a lot of the habitats were very large with lots in them; so that was refreshing. I saw a ton of cats I've never seen. I think tigers are beautiful; however I was really in awe of the Lion, Lambert and then the Servals! They were just amazing. They had tigers, ligers, lions, servals, bobcats, cougars, etc. my kids really enjoyed it as well as my husband and I. The memorial wall was touching; and the gift shop is decent. I did find out they offer a feeding tour in the evenings and that's something we may check out in the future. All in all it was a great experience for us.

I called A Wildlife Pro DFW after having another company tell me I had to spend thousands of dollars to replace my insulation and all sorts of stuff. Aaron came out the very next day to take a look at my property. He told me that there was nearly no damage to my attic, just a few holes around the roof line of my house. He put these little doors on the holes so that the squirrels could leave but not get back in. Within a week, he came back and fixed up the holes. He was able to do this while I was at work, which was really convenient. This work cost less than I expected and the animals were out quickly. all the staff which I talked to were nice and very knowledgeable. I like that they're construction focused and humane to animals instead of exterminator service. There have been no more critters in my attic, driving my dogs insane with their squirrely sounds.

Matt, Carl and Katherine are very professional and did a great job sticking to schedule.

My husband and I came here for a weekend trek, and it's easily one of the best outdoor spots in North Texas. What I love most is the versatility. Whether you're looking for a smooth, paved stroll or want to get your boots a little dusty on the dirt hiking trails, they've got you covered. It's a great mix of elevation and flat stretches. It's a great spot for everyone. Pets are welcome (on leashes!), and there is a fantastic playground near the parking lot--perfect for kiddos who still have energy to burn after a hike. You'll see a beautiful variety of plants and likely some local wildlife. Just a heads-up: they do have warning signs posted for snakes and poison ivy, so definitely keep an eye on your surroundings while you explore. The parking lot is huge, but this place is popular! We arrived around 1:00 PM and it was nearly at capacity. We were lucky to snag a stall, but I'd definitely recommend arriving earlier in the morning if you want to avoid the parking hunt.

The entrance area is always crowded so people don't get to see how amazing this place is. It's incredible because once you go off trail, you can see for miles to around and the sunset views are phenomenal. There are plenty of shortcuts around this area if you just want to do a quick loop to the observation tower and back to the main entrance. I took my old dog out here years ago and went off trail to isolated areas. I hope other dog owners get to see how happy she is and how much joy dogs get from being in this place. It's fairly common to see people taking family photos here but again, I truly recommend walking in off trail areas for 10 minutes to get spectacular photos.

It's one of my favorite places to hike. I love that the motto of this place is to conserve land for future generations, saving space from widespread development that turned beautiful grasslands into cityscapes. They are constantly working to restore native grasses and plants here, and even returned some quail to the area. It's a nice place to go on a weekend morning to view Allen/Plano the way it was meant to be experienced. We've had falcons fly right over us, seen many beautiful birds including baby woodpeckers, butterflies, and native flowers. There are even art installations (that kept my kiddo motivated to keep walking), and events hosted here, like the Mediterranean meal event in the Meadow. We'll be joining the hayride in October! I've literally watched this area go from fenced pasture to butting up against golf courses, movie theaters, and neighborhoods. If you haven't explored yet, plan a day out. It's worth it. After walking into the property on a former country road, it opens up to pasture as it has been for over a hundred years. Bordering on a beautiful live water creek its easy to imagine our predecessors stopping here for water before continuing a journey. There is a garden here tended seasonally by volunteers as are birdhouses for rare local species. This is a treasure.
