I found Rapidus through the "we contacted sponsored vendors" checkmark, and I have to admit at first I was a bit weary since I was immediately asked to go to a different site to reserve the service. A little bit impersonal, but not a mark against them. Once I found out the item that I wanted picked up was larger than their online form would allow for, I replied to the automated Yelp message. I wasn't expecting an answer but Irene reached out and helped me out from there. She asked me to reserve through the site, which I did, and made sure that a driver that had a large enough vehicle to pick up the item took the job. William made the drive from San Diego to Los Angeles with my item in tow, and was in constant communication. He was very kind and helpful, and definitely showed me that he cared. After some creative problem solving, we got the thing in my house with no damage to the item itself! That all of this was done for half the price that was quoted by competing services is crazy. I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need a courier service like this again. Note: They ask you to download their "app", but it's just a wrapper around the mobile version of the website. I needed someone to deliver 3 different items to Malibu for my wedding and Rapidus was a great price and very easy to schedule online. Other couriers required a different trip for each location even if the destination was the same. I was able to schedule Rapidus to pick up flowers in Boyle Heights, a cake from Brentwood, and a large sheet cake from Tarzana for a great rate. My delivery driver was Edward and he was very nice on the phone. There was a special option to carry the items with care for a small fee so I added it on. I would use Rapidus again in the future if I need to get things delivered when I cannot get them myself. Thank you! read more

I don't write reviews on Yelp very often... only when a service feels like it 'saved the day' which Rapidus sure did!!! My kid left a backpack at a school 90 miles from our house, while there for a tournament over the weekend. The idea of driving to go get it was going to easily be a 4-5 hour round trip. I found Rapidus via a Google Search. The Rapidus website/app was so easy to use to set up the pick-up/delivery. The driver (Laura) was super responsive and friendly, kept me posted on the progress, and delivered the backpack flawlessly. Unbelievable service: ordered online, simple. I was able to track everything along the way with text updates and map of the driver. The driver was courteous and professional. They checked my ID and took pictures of the package at each step to ensure no tampering. I had a major emergency, the other night. I received a call at 9pm that a customer of mine had forgotten to order product for the following morning. Who was I going to call at 9pm??? I looked on Yelp and these guys emailed me back almost immediately and said that they could do the job the following morning at 7:30am. I woke up early to make sure it was going to happen and they had already texted me that they were in route. Its set up like UBER where you can watch the cars location on the app. When they arrived at the location where the delivery needed to be, a photo was taken of it as well.
