Awesome ride with breathtaking views! We were a group of 11, including two children ages 8 and 9. We did the Cave Ride, and loved it! Wranglers were excellent, very attentive, friendly, great with the kids. Dom was especially awesome, but the other two were excellent as well. Horses are well cared for, and were expertly matched to each rider according to their height/weight and level of experience. My sister requested a particular horse that she had ridden previously, and even though the horse wasn't assigned to our group for this ride, they were happy to accommodate her. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in this type of activity. Even if you've never been on a horse before and are a little fearful of trying it, the folks at Rapp will make you feel at ease and provide you with an experience you will never forget. I've done a few horseback trail rides in other locations, but this was the most fun I've had on one. Our horses had personality and responded to us, unlike some trails rides I've done where the horse only follows the tail in front of it. That being said, I felt totally comfortable in that Slippers knew what he was doing and where he was most comfortable walking. It was a particularly slippery and muddy day since it had snowed a little the day before, and I never felt that it was a danger. Our guide, Faith, was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with stories of local wildlife she'd seen, pointing out edible mushrooms, old mine leavings, a wasp nest in a tree and even a lynx track in our trail. Rapp Corral is a top-notch outfit. Very friendly staff, and Josh, our guide for the cave trail ride was helpful getting us all mounted up, was very educated in the history of the area, pointed out interesting plants and stuff along the way and was friendly to everyone. Josh made the overall trip a really enjoyable time. The horses are all beautiful creatures, good-natured, and know the trails. What a fun time. I'm sure we'll be back. My partner and I went on the 2-hour ride with Dom and had a great experience. She was a great Wrangler to talk to and was very informative about our surroundings on the trail. The horses we rode were Preacher and Wilson and they were great as well. We will definitely stop by and ride again next time we're in the area. read more

Super nice Wranglers. All normal people. Told us about the plants and animals along the way. We got off and height into a cave. The ride back was beautiful along a small overgrown Pond and mature Ponderosa trees. Very conscientious of our children and friendly toward everyone. Highly recommend. read more
