The coffee here is great! The staff is always super friendly, have great drink recommendations and always quick with their service their lattes are so good and my favorites are their Redbull energy drink mixes. It's a very great cute little coffee spot perfect to grab n go wether you're hopping on the 198 or 41!

Cleanest bathrooms the west of the Rockies. This Rare Earth is coupled with a gas station/convenience store, a cookie shop and a hot chicken sandwich spot. Super clean. Friendly staff. If you need gas or a rest stop on the way to Pismo from Fresno this is a great and convenient stop!

One Large ICED Americano ... all ice & espresso. No water.. (Good Espresso pull).

I was doing an early morning trip to and from Hanford's Herb & Joy and I stopped for gas on the way home. I saw Valero off the 198/41 junction and thought "they'd be cheaper than the Chevron down the street." While filling up, and noticed it was the Valero with the Rare Earth/Dad's Cookies/50 other things, attached to it that I see often from the 41. It looked nice and I needed a pick-me-up and since I loved Iced Americanos I thought I'd try one from there. I decided to waste some of the gas I just put in and went through the drive through. As I pulled up I noticed the prices were kinda high. Like $6.50 for a HOT Americano. And I didn't even look at the rest of the drinks or anything after that. The girl taking my order seemed sweet sounding. However I told her I wanted a large ICED americano three times, but it was on the third time that she finally repeated it my drink properly to me (prolly the microphone is weird). I didn't get any sugar or anything special. Just a nice, succulent ICED americano. She upsold me a chocolate chip cookie from "Dad's". I'm a sucker for a cookie plus I had to try Dad's famous cookies. The price would be told to me at the window (I hate that). I get there, cookie and an iced americano was $8+. I give her a $20. She gives me back, 2 $5 bills, a $1 in qtrs, and loose change. How am I supposed go tip her now? She hands me my change - I'm counting the dollar in qtrs to give back for a tip then I see my drink... (see pic). The girl was about 15 years younger than me and called me "HUN" twice which I didn't mind (made me feel younger), and she was nice as hell and looked understaffed in there. She can't make an iced americano (yet) and doesn't give proper change to receive tips (shoulda gave me a $5 and five $1s), but she was koo. I dumped the rest of my water in, tasted it and have to say.. it did taste pretty good, so they have good espresso there, the cookie was fat as hell but tastes like any other non-homemade cookie. Over priced coffee - over priced cookie - over priced gas - Probably won't go back. Wait, there was a food truck outside that made my stomach growl (see pic). It was too early when I got there but damnit I wanted it! If anyone has had it, let me know.

Ok I'm one to drive to the next town over for my fav horchata coffee but I'm so glad I decided to try this place instead. I got the pistachio crème iced latte and that is definitely my new fav.. I'm upset I got a medium and not a large! lol you can taste a good hint of the pistachio, semi sweet not too nutty and still have the coffee flavor come through. Service was great, it looks like it is inside a gas station but I went though the drive through it's was very quick which is a plus.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. I think they have some of the best matcha's around (but if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener.. you probably won't like a real matcha from here) -- I say this bc people complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol -- all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out. Plenty of spaces to work from (one of my fav spots) Service is always ask expected for hand crafted drinks and food! The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products, love that! Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha I will always come here for food/homemade pastries , a drink or to work!

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.

I couldn't decide which coffee to try so they offered me samples! Black Magic was a best seller and my favorite of the 3 hot coffees. After I purchased my coffee for a whopping $3, I saw they had the sand heating coffee that I've seen in videos but have never tried! They told me it was Armenian coffee- I bought for my fiance (to go)- also$3! As I'm getting ready to pay for the 2nd coffee- someone comes to buy almost all their bottled pistachio latte ($5). There was 1 bottle left. It was a sign- I asked to buy the last bottle. Lol. It was so smooth and sweet with a lovely hint of pistachio. I'm impressed and def a fan. Where else are you guys?! lol

I finally decided to stop in with my 5 y/o son. The outside decor and ambiance were adorable and the merchandise had fun designs. Unfortunately, the interaction with the owner completely changed the experience. He seemed irritated from the moment I ordered a hot chocolate for my son, correcting me in a rude and dismissive tone that it was "hot cocoa" and annoyedly asking how many I wanted. I said one and then asked if they had a menu so I could see what type of coffee they offered. That simple question also seemed to frustrate him and he dismissively responded, "It's just coffee," while shaking his head. His overall tone came across as arrogant, annoyed, and dismissive over normal questions, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was shocked by the attitude, especially from a business owner. Maybe he was having a bad day, and I do see many positive reviews, but I also noticed other reviews mentioning similar experiences with the owner. It's disappointing because we were really looking forward to trying this place. I ended up saying never mind and leaving. My son didn't understand why we walked out without getting what we came for and I explained that I didn't want to support a business where customers are treated rudely. I truly hope the owner is doing okay and is able to treat customers more respectfully in the future because it seems like there's a great product behind the business. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it.
