Finally got to try this place out and I'm thoroughly impressed. The Salty Cowboy with oat milk was so delicious and had the perfect hint of coconut! The service was great and the workers helped us choose all our drinks. They can customize any beverage and because they have such a wide variety of syrups the possibilities are endless. I love coffee shops you can work or read for a little while and they have a ton of seating. It's great for people who work from home to get out or larger study groups. They close at 2pm so it's great for quick meetings or to just get a change of scenery from where you'd normally work. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

I've been to the Bakersfield roasting Company several times I've had different lattes and they're always made to perfection. The environment is super welcoming and there's plenty of space for large groups. I've had the garlic bagel, but my only complaint would be. I wish there were more food options. Other than that this place is fantastic and I will continue to be a customer here. Look forward to coming back.

We were invited to meet here by a friend on our way up to wind wolves preserve. I was very impressed by the selection of items on their menu. The ladies who tended to us were very patient and polite offering suggestions and even accommodating a request to split our drink in two cups. We ended up ordering a Hawaiian mocha, a white chocolate mocha and and iced snowflake. Their scones were warmed and so good. Absolutely loved the cinnamon scone, highly recommend. The shop was super packed, but it was a pleasant surprise to see they had a large cafeteria style annex to their main coffee lounge. There were groups studying and yet it was spacious enough to catch up and sip on our coffees while we finished our food items before heading out. Will definitely come back to try more off their menu. The cause is also definitely a motivator to come back as well.

Honestly my favorite cafe in town. The matcha, chai, and coffee are phenomenal. Their seasonal menus are so fun and they always have such delicious drinks. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for! The seating area is so spacious. The coworkers are always super patient and super friendly. The best coffee shop in town hands down. I always look forward to when they roast the coffee, the smell is just so good.

When you're in Bakersfield come stop by and support this cafe nonprofit supporting the stop of trafficking!! Besides great coffee, it has a cute environment offering plenty of seating and opportunities to purchase their wide range of notes of coffee.

This place had a cool vibe. The service was friendly and quick. Most importantly the iced Velvet Elvis I had was pretty damn good, I must admit. I will most definitely have to come try more of their drinks. If you are look for a good new coffee spot, look no more and come try Bakersfield Roasting Company.

Very unexpected hip place! Nicely decorated, with a lot of hip looking customers. The barista was sweet and helpful. I had the latte with a nice tulip art. The coffee was mild, balanced, delicious! Highly recommend this place

VERY CUTE coffee shop! I love that they are non profit and are apart of the fight against human trafficking and homelessness. You're definitely buying more than a cup of coffee here, you also help toward this fight. That's beautiful! The coffee was yummy though and that cookie was scrumptious. Natalia was very kind and helpful. When in Bako definitely stop here.

    Coffee beans, sampler sizes

The coffee is always good and the cafe is a really nice place to study. The staff is always so accommodating when we request for the smaller sampler sizes for the beans. We really appreciate it! Thank you!

Came in on a Saturday at noon, place was buzzing! The line was long! However that never intimidates me... I had all day to order. I finally placed my order at 1210, so over 10 min in line. The inside is nice and clean and super spacious! Great for students or even a big group of people that just want some coffee. I went for two drinks that I feel I would enjoy and also that are in their top drink options. The cashier was nice and greeted me with a smile. I informed her it was my first time but she didn't give me any recommendations or explained any of their menu options, which in my opinion I feel that you have to greet new customers that way. Like oh it's your first time! This is how things work here lol. I was informed everything is baked in house except for the bagels. In house dinning gives you the option to have your food on a plate. The zucchini bread came out immediately and in a bag.... Was annoyed by this. My bread was now sitting in this bag that had been warmed. I finally received my drinks at 1227, some people would flip with the wait time, however I don't mind. Once I received my drinks I had to ask for them to rewarm the bread. The bread was delicious! Soft thick and you can taste the real ingredients used to make it. For the drinks I ordered an iced medium Strawberry Honey Matcha Latte. The presentation was awesome! The taste from the sippy part was really good, the matcha alone has a great tastes. Once I mixed it all together the drink really came together and all the flavors were over the top good. It tastes like a boba drink without the pearl or extra sugar. The second drink I tried was a small Velvet Elvis, WOW!!! Smooth and not overly sweet and you can literally taste the caffeine. Overall this place is a 10/10, I would come here instead of any of the chain coffee places in town. I do recommend you ask the food to be warmed after you have your drinks.

A nice farmstyle coffee shop that is attached to the local Calvary Chapel building. My wife and I tried their Velvet Elvis latte (white chocolate with caramel) and their white chocolate mocha, both iced. We are impressed with their blend as some coffee shops try to hide their coffee taste with lots of syrup (ahem, starbucks), but this coffee shop has it down packed. Loved the atmosphere with the farmstyle design, and it was pretty busy for a small shop. The staff was friendly and accommodating as we had questions about some of their coffee packages and they answered all of them even if they had a long line. I commend them for their goal as a non-profit organization to end human trafficking and homelessness. Great place for coffee if you're ever in the area.

I went twice to this location two days in a row because I enjoyed it so much. First with a friend and then I had to introduce it to my kids. The coffees and teas are delish and unique, as well as the smoothies and juices (I didn't try those but my kids loved them). We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good! Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. You can ask them for descriptions or ask for a menu to see details and ingredients. They're open late too, so I think my next visit will be a GNO or a date with my hubby.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself.
